Very shady. Tried to sell me on new front brake pads. Conveniently, they told me my current pads were worn down to 1 millimeter. So, I purchased new brake pads and went to install them myself. My old brake pads were perfectly even with plenty of life left on them. Not cool.

I've had many occasions over the past 40 years purchase tires from the Petaluma store a Big o tires and the service has always been good and the tires a good value for the price this time I stopped and got four RV rated tires for my 2000 Coach House RV. They go the extra step by checking the brakes and making sure everything else is in order. I can easily recommend them

Even though I made an appointment, the "mechanic" behind the counter laughed at me when I arrived for check in, as if I did something wrong. The parking lot is tiny and jam packed, with a six hour wait time just for a simple tire rotation. Their service is "Meth'ed" up. Don't waste your time here.

Just moved into town nd I think they'll be our tire spot! Bought 2 tires for my Genesis Coupe 3.8 and an alignment for 430 and changed my key phob battery for free. It's a lil bit of wait time but jobs done right

My daughter-in-law had a serious engine issue on her KIA Sportage. She just happened to be down the street from this Big O location and dropped it off for them to diagnose. Josh and his team went above and beyond to diagnose the problem for her, and actually advised us about an engine recall that we were not aware of regarding her vehicle. Josh gave us some very helpful information so we could get the problem resolved with KIA and even stored her vehicle at no charge for a couple of days until we could get it towed to a dealership. Thank you Josh and the rest of your team for your help!

When people go out of their way to help you solve a problem, not in the description for your appointment, and were efficent anyway, well you have to say, that was a good experience. Needed new tires, my mechanic in Marin Co said I'd be risking life without new ones. I shopped around and couldn't beat Big O Tires price. (O stands for opportunity)I told Joshua about my check engine light aluminating, my car wasn't running right. They looked into this for me and came up with the issue. I recomend B"O"Tires in Petaluma.

The shop was able to fix damage to a tire (screw embedded) completely and speedily. The folks I encountered were a balance of down to business, yet chatted amicably too. In short, they got the car taken care of within the timeframe they told me to expect and with all the professionalism one could hope for, making for a stellar experience. Definitely a place I'd be glad to come back to if needed and would recommend to others.

Safe to say you get what you pay for with this location. The prices are great, but the service is hit or miss..I called the Petaluma location and was met with a million reasons that I should not bring my car in for a nail in my tire ( which I paid for the extra assurance when I bought them) I TRIED to bring it in outside of its busiest time, but the wait time was over an hour and I got blocked in because there were so many cars..I will never return to this location.

This Big O Tires makes my least favorite thing anything car maintenance related a pleasant experience. I called in with a low tire at 3:30 pm, they picked up quickly (rare in this industry) and were able to get me taken care of by 5pm for $35 (nail removal). I definitely thought I might have to buy one if not four brand new tires, so this was a super pleasant bit of news! The staff was super pleasant, fast, professional and provided great communication throughout the process, especially Chad. Thank you for getting me back, safe on the road for such a low price, Big O Team!

I came in today needing a new tire because i picked up a piece of metal. I was on a really tight schedule travelling through on Rotary business and they got me in and out very quickly. Derek was professional and courteous. Highly recommend. Thank you

We received excellent service from the Big O Tires team. We purchased brand new tires for our car about a week ago. Josh explained our options and was honest about cost and reliability. Less than a week later, we avoided a terrible accident but still our car was attacked by a bunch of loose PVC pipe. We immediately started hearing some clunking while driving over uneven services and our tail skirt was hanging dangerously low. We brought our car back to Big O s and the guys were awesome! We had lost a caliper bolt. They replaced it and charged us nothing at all for the part or labor since we had spent enough with them the week prior. Fantastic team, amazing customer service, definitely recommend!

I never fail to be impressed with the team at this Big O location. They are always friendly and willing to help you smile again. I stopped in a couple of months ago and because my car was losing water. They added water and said they could find the leak for me. I couldn t take it in at that time for financial reasons. Last week they replaced my water pump and hoses and I was very pleased with every aspect of my service from this team prompt courteous and taking all precautions with covid-19. I would not hesitate to recommend them to my friends and family.

Cool under pressure and better yet perform. These guys have been anything short of amazing. Knew I was in a hurry as was everyone else. With a full shop take care of business and do a great job. This would be my 3rd and not my last visit. I drove today in labor day traffic because I knew the integrity these guys have. Thanks again..

I went into Big O without an appointment to get a tired repaired or replaced. They started helping me immediately even though I had just dropped in. I ended up having to get all new tires because mine were all pretty worn out. This was a blow to me, as I don't have a lot of money right now, but everyone there, especially Peyton who assisted me, was wonderful. Peyton explained everything to me and helped me to get the best things for my car and my budget. He was also friendly and courteous. Excellent service all around.Additionally, while I was in the shop I saw one of the workers spraying lysol on the customer counter. In today's environment seeing someone taking steps to protect themselves, their customers, and the public was really comforting.

When I phoned to schedule a tire alignment they were able to get me in the next day. After dropping my car off I was told it would be about 45-60 min. and received a call a half hour later my car was done. I appreciate the quick service and friendly help I received when dropping off and picking up my car. The gentlemen who helped me was very friendly.

Beware of this place. They will try to cross-sell you anything that you don't need. I requested an appointment online. Once I got to the store, the desk staff member added warranties to my order without telling me. I left my car with them for more than an hour, I returned to store. They did not do anything to my car because they were trying to sell me more tires. I will call the store filed a complaint. I wasted my time

I ve been a customer for years and they always treat me with top shelf customer service. They fix flats for free and most importantly get it done when I m in a hurry. New tires for Tahoe. Honored replacement guarantee and much more. Randy and the guys rock! I m a real estate appraiser and critic. This is a real and honest review.

I bought a new set of Big O tires from these fine folks a few years back. Just a few months later I had a blowout, due to my own poor driving. It was fully my own fault for rolling up on a curb. They replaced the tire for free and no questions asked. I've been to the Petaluma location for oil changes, brakes and tires. I've gotten awesome service at reasonable prices. I highly recommend them.

Horrible experience ! I have been a faithful customer at big O in Santa Rosa for over 25 years until Jeff recently retired so I changed my business to a local franchise . Boy was that a mistake! Kevin front desk manager was great in the beginning. But then I was told my tire Could be fixed at no charge and then informed me five minutes later he was not fixable I had to order a new one. He Arranged for a rental car which is nice and told me to come back tomorrow it will be ready first thing in the morning. I had my husband call at noon to confirm and I was told was not ready come back at two . I drove by at one on my way to lunch my car was in their parking lot so I assumed it was done . Arrived at two to pick up my car was told nothing been done . I said a courtesy call would ve been nice with an update and he told me he had been way too busy to deal with this . And then he proceeded to make a phone call while I m sitting there with my car in their parking lot . Rude and obnoxiously- I think he saw an older woman driving a Tesla and took advantage of me. Better yet the next day the owner called Randy and tell me overcharge me want to refund the difference . Do not walk away from this franchise !

I always wondered who were these people leaving one and two star reviews and now I'm one of them, unfortunately. I first got new tires here for my new car with custom wheels. When I picked up my car my nice chrome valve stem covers now had cheap plastic ones on them. Not to sound all uptight, but details matter to me. I went back in and asked the owner about this. He did apologize but then rummaged through a junk drawer, found 4 random mismatched valve stem covers and replaced the plastic one, seemingly pleased with his work. I shrugged it off. I came back to get my tires rotated a few months later and when I drove off the lot I hear a low rumbling sound coming from my back tires. I immediately turn around and go back to let them know. They apparently did not put my tires back on correctly! A tire shop! I should have learned my lesson at that point, but I needed new tires fast so called them back up. I went on the Big O website, saw they had the brand/model I wanted, and got a quote for new tires, called the shop and told them my quote. The owner said he did not have my size but could get them for me and they'd be in the next day. Awesome. He asked for my credit card and I figured he needed it for a deposit (I should have asked). Just a few hours later I see that they had charged me the full price of the tires AND installation! We're talking hundreds of dollars. Before any work is done at all and before they even had the tires in hand. I called them back and asked the owner about this. All I wanted was some clarification and the owner says something like, "Oh you mean the *special order no refunds allowed* tires you wanted?" Excuse me??? Not only did he not say anything about charging me, he never said anything about this being a "special order" with no refunds. Sure, my fault for giving him my credit card, but when I told him he never mentioned this "special order no refunds" thing to me he proceeds to lie and say that he did tell me. Gimme a break! I tried to then calm things down and tell him that hey, I'm a returning customer, not some guy trying to yank his chain, just wanting to resolve this surprise charge and his response to that is an angry "Oh, well I've been in business for 20+ years" essentially telling me he didn't need my business and to go somewhere else. That's exactly what I'll do.

Very professional and knowledgeable. I brought my car in for the complimentary tire rotation/balancing that came with the tires I bought from them. They recommended some other services that I knew I was overdue for and gave me a quote for some maintenance issues. I was helped by Justin who was very nice and gave me honest recommendations. He even surprised me by resetting my tire pressure sensors that weren't reading correctly. I will definitely be returning for future maintenance needs, they were great!

I've been bringing my 2 cars here for a while now. Even during the COVID-19, they were extremely thoughtful, professional and friendly. My recent visit, they called with advice, helped decide what would be done and got me out within my timeframe even though there was additional work. I've always been extremely pleased with their results unlike some other facilities. I would highly recommend these folks and will continue to bring my 2 vehicles there.

We generally take cars to another shop in town but they could not accommodate and we needed oil change and tire rotation asap. So just on a whim we called, they were so nice and said to come on by and we could leave it as long as we needed and come back for it. We got there, they were so nice and didn't try ti upsell anything! The price was very reasonable and they rotated the tires for free! Definitely going back.
