Another gorgeous place to pull over just look. Ocean and birds were amazing. Nice place to walk a little and stretch some.

We were on an adventure to a nearby goat farm when this beautiful spot appeared on Highway 101.Nice place to pull over and a short path so you could get a tad closer to the ocean. The ocean sounds were fabulous as the waves lapped against the rocky coast.

Good place for the weekend, less crowded and free parking, need walk across the bridge for the beach access.

The better of the two parking lots for access to the beach.Vault toilet is actually pretty clean and well stocked with shockingly soft toilet paper.

Less crowded than the more popular parking lot immediately south of here, & with stairs directly accessing the tide pools below the cliff.

Beautiful beach and bluffs, as well as access under the highway to the trails and marshes across the way.An issue, however, if you do not want to get wet, is that a drainage creek passes across the beach, just north of the parking lot and is too wide to jump and far too deep to simply roll your pants up- even shorts could get soaked. This can limit access to the beach for anyone wanting to walk north. The creek passes through a small cave under the bluff, so anyone wishing to head north up the beach will need to descend from the bluff at the far north end, beyond the creek. This is a little more difficult than descending south of the creek. There is no staircase assess to the beach and most ways down do require a certain degree of climbing down. It is not treacherous by any means, but may be difficult for elderly visitors, pregnant mothers, people with dogs or young children, or anyone who has limited mobility.

I don't really remember which beach this was because I was doing a drive from Santa Cruz to Half Moon Bay on Highway 1 and I saw many beaches I've never seen before but all I remember here is the views were spectacular definitely go out of your way to check out this beach

Great beach, but you get down to the beach using a walkway across the bridge, not directly down from the lot. One bathroom, no sink.
