First time here. They replaced the front two motor mounts on my Diesel Ram and replaced the transmission line.Their communication was excellent, prices were about what I expected, and turnaround time was very quick. Took them 2 days from diagnostic to finish.I will definitely be back.

Long story short: take your tough jobs to Dad's. They are not the cheapest around but they are honest and they get it done when other shops can't or won't.I bought a '99 Silverado 1500 from my cousin that has some sentimental value since it has been in the family for years, and is somewhat rare being a single cab short bed Z71. I knew it was rough shape when I got it but didn't know how bad it actually was until I brought it to Dad's. I should mention that I took it to four other shops before this. All of them charged good money and told me different things, but didn't solve the main problems of overheating and not passing smog.The job turned out to be much tougher and take longer than any of us expected. The truck itself basically needed the engine rebuilt above the trans, head gaskets, lifters and all plus new cat converters, radiator, fan, and a bunch more. The guys ran into trouble just about every step of the way but stuck with it. Robert gave me a call every week to let me know what was going on, good and bad. I appreciated that.In the end I know the guys spent more time and money on this job than expected but they stuck by their original estimate. I believe they actually put in more hours than they even charged me for overall. I picked the truck up last week, got it registered the same day and since then have been testing it by driving it on the freeway and up the mountain to the dump, which is where it had a lot of problems before. The truck is running like an absolute champion now.I couldn't be happier with how it turned out and even though it was a tough job, I appreciate how Robert and Richie and the rest of the gang over there handled it as professionals. My car has had many issues over the last 6-7 weeks. Dad's has been so helpful and understanding. They quickly diagnosed and repaired my vehicle without issue each time. Ritchie has been very patient and a great communicator. My car is now running great! Go to Dad's if your car needs some TLC. They'll take care of you.

Found this place through AAA. Fast service, great staff (they even had Keurig coffee and comfy couches in the lobby while you wait for your car to be serviced!). Got all my maintenance done in time for our roadtrip. Definitely a trusted place to take care of your vehicles.

Your new manager has great customer service skills. So far I have not driven the car far since the job was done but will make sure I let you know if anything happens.Price a little too high but if job was done correctly then the price would be acceptable.

Needed a smog the day after Christmas, but most shops were closed.....yadda......called this shop and talked to Brandon who was friendly and said he could fit me right in. Service was fast and I got my certificate just like that :)

I want to thank Dad s Automotive Services for their excellent customer service and for all of the help. Everyone at the shop is so kind and caring and willing to help you out in anyway they possibly can. My husband and I had to leave our vehicle for a couple of hours and we were going to walk home but these amazing men offered us a ride. WOW!! This location is a joke. Complete scam. They worked on my car blamed me for the reason my car gave out reassured me nothing else was wrong and that the reason for the car was a broken brake light when in reality it was the machine in my car charged us $365 because they said that was the problem. This was about a week ago on Jan 2 I get out of work my car doesn t turn on doing the same thing my father calls today being Jan 3 to inform them and they said no because I yelled at them like I wasn t rightfully so when the owner himself reassured my father he would call him failed to call me or my father about the car and kept my car over the weekend and to have to pay an absurd price and now they don t want to fix my car when they where the last ones to have touched my car is a complete scam pos company even the son left this location the only honest person who would do their job followed up with clients. Take your car else were if I could leave this with no star I would . The guy Brandon is completely useless can t do anything beside answer a phone and handle one situation at a time. Owner really needs to evaluate who his team is

Happy Holidays it's Queeny againJust wanted to give a super shout out to Brandon. He was kind, patient. I came in to get my transmission serviced on my Durango and I was a quart low in oil and Brandon got my baby right. I appreciate this shop and the workers as well. Thanks Dad's for the love and respect. Oh yeah took it in at about 8:30 am or so and it was ready before 11am. NOT ALL DAY in and out. GREAT PLACE and SERVICE

Had a really bad electrical problem on a 1985 box truck. Thought it was a problem with a turn signal switch, turned out to be a lot of old wiring being no good. Glad i had these guys check it out, rewiring everything would have taken me much longer to find out was the problem, and much more than a few days to fix.

I was in town from the east coast and had a problem with my coolant and water pump. This family owned business made sure I was fixed and back on the road asap. I felt very comfortable with the work and associated costs. Brought my 08 silverado in for a ticking noise. They gave me a low and high quote and when the motor was opened up they called me to come in and see what all had happened, gave me different options to take and stayed in contact with me for the time it took for the work to be done. I had a snafu with payment and they understood and could've charged a storage fee but didn't. The repair they did is 100%, zero complaints and has a 3 year warranty. Good family owned business and my new mechanic shop I'll be using.Service: Engine repair

NegativesTook 27 daysRemoved a dealer installed option, did not reinstallTire pressure was 50 PSI low on one tire when I picked it upThey bought and installed a part from the dealer onto my vehicle, before asking approvalVehicle is now throwing codes that seem to relate to installed partNo repair should take a month. Before taking your car there, drive by at night and see how many are parked in there. Do you really want to leave your car downtown for a month? Can you be without your car for a month. It s not like you can get a rental, because for me they just kept expanding the time it would take.Removing and not putting back a dealer installed option is just wrong. It is going to cost me a lot of money to get it back at the dealer. Inventory and write down all possessions and settings on your car before leaving with them.Letting a car sit for a month, and not checking that the tire pressure is safe to drive is sloppy at best. At worst, check out the review by Amara W. over on yelp. This could have easily caused me to be in an accident as soon as I hit the freeway.Please notice how they respond to negative reviews. A lot of them are just plain victim blaming of their customers. Please also read their yelp negative reviews. I wish I hadThey do ask you to leave a review here, with the caveat If you were satisfied . Was my first time at "Dad's". Everyone I talked to was great. The master tech asked all the right questions to get the info he needed to properly diagnose my van. The Woman at the front desk was helpful and easy to talk to even during the ruff patch I have been going through with my vehicle, and the gentleman that called with the bad news was upfront regarding the dreaded double rebuild diagnosis. Didn't once pressure me into just having the transmission and engine rebuilt, but gave me a professional opinion as to what he would honestly do. I would definitely come back to see the crew at "Dad's" when I can't do something myself or need a professional diagnosis. It's great to know honest shops exist. I'd definitely recommend them.

I had my brakes worked on at Dad's. They did a nice job repairing my front and rear brakes. They were pleasant to work with and appear to have done a nice job. I'll be back when I need further work.

I told them in advance what I needed but they didn t order it. They also did not tell me that they wouldn t order it unless I was there. I would ve paid over the phone because time is valuable. I took time off work to show up and their person couldn t be bothered to even look at the services I requested quotes on. They couldn t give me a valid ETA and didn t seem to care at all about how long they intended to keep my car on a Friday with a morning appointment. I made the appointment early because I assumed you d be capable of completing this very simple task within a reasonable timeframe.I showed up early and they told me it would be 1-1.5 hours for the part (the part they knew I needed because I told them specifically I needed it but didn t order when I made the appointment.)It s been 4.5+ hours and they haven t even started because they don t prioritize their customers or have any sense of professionalism.Nobody called me about any of the services I requested estimates on!!Evidently I just don t get those services?And now there s no time because despite having a morning appointment I get frantic scrambling end of the day work between 3-430pm. They re charging me $200+ for an upper radiator hose. That s insane. Labor isn t that expensive! Coolant isn t that expensive!Pep Boys will do it for less but I figured maybe a locally owned business would actually care. They re taking advantage of time and money.AND THE MECHANIC LEFT HIS LUNCH GARBAGE IN MY CAR!! He left trash in my car
