Inspirational tree survived 100s of years and stands tall alone giving best views to the world. Mother nature has something amazing in store for this tree, it's meant to tell the story of the beautiful past that thrived before the rough ocean waves invaded the mountains and carved its power into the hard stones. So eone leaving this tree aone survivor. One of a kind place in the world. Admire and get your inspiration.

We visited pescadero point on a beautiful sunny Saturday morning, with the sunlight glistening in the ocean in the horizon. The most scenic place to visit in Monterey. This is the southern most point of the 17 mile drive overlooking the ocean and really worth the wait. Found plenty of parking in the morning. Entry fee is $11.50 at the gate for visitors. The most idyllic and serene visit on a sunny day. Coming back again soon for the 17 mile drive.

Beautiful place and a beautiful walking path. Parking was easy in and out. The "ghost trees" seems like a failed attempt at increasing tourism. The trees seemed like typical cypress, which are always beautiful. The view of bird rock was nice.

One of many stops along the scenic 17-mile drive. It was cold and cloudy w/ intermittent Feb showers, but also less crowded. We tried to catch the sunset but it was a bit too cloudy. Otherwise, a serene and beautiful place.

Glad we did the whole 17-mile drive and this was definitely a pretty place to stop. I m sure this would be an amazing view at sunset, we just didn t have enough time to stick around, so plan your drive appropriately to get the most out of it. Please also watch out for the bicyclists and I wouldn t let your kid out on the road who s only had their license for a few years unless they re used to driving in narrow costal/mountains.

Very cool place to see the Pacific ocean. You get a great view of the rocks and coastline. The Monterey Cypress trees nearby are also cool. When we went it was foggy, but I'm sure when it isn't the view is even better.

February was a perfect time to come this year and watch a sunset on the 17 mile drive. It was beautiful and surreal. Lots of folks here so parking can get tricky.

A nice spot to take a quick 5-10 mins break while driving along the 17 mile drive. They have some unique looking bleached cypress trees that appear spooky. Hence the name Ghost trees. View of the ocean from this spot is also amazing. Street parking is available and you mostly get to park easily since people spend just a few mins here. The way to this place is cool with tall exquisite trees.

Another beautiful spot to stop along 17 mile drive to see the Ghost Trees at Pescadero Point. It's the next stop close to the Lone Tree - Cypress Point where everybody stops. You'll see very interesting tree shapes as well as amazing coastal rocks.

This is one of the beautiful stops on the 17-Mile Drive. Sun bleached trees are uniquely shaped, colorful green and red backdrop, and sound of the waves. Pretty cool experience!

Extremely beautiful place. I was showing 17 mile drive to a friend and we didn t want to stop at any locations to save time. We were just looking from the car. But at Pescadero point we just couldn t drive through. The awe stopped us and we spent 15 min walking around and enjoying terrific views.

There are couple of beaches to spend your afternoon around. Parking is limited but you will always find one. Beach are not busy. Usually people just drive around and take picture. Sometimes surfers are everywhere. I will defenitely go back. Just park, bring your coffee and relax. I am from LA and this place just gave me a different view of "tourism"..I am a runner and my future plan is park at the golf links and run the full 17mile drive.

Wow amazing truly the highlight of 17 mile drive. Great views great waves. It was bit chilly and lot of fog but that s the best part. Loved the place. It also has ghost trees right next to it basically a bunch of white and gnarly local cypress tress. Definitely a great place to take some beautiful pictures and videos. You can go close to rocks and down below but have to be super careful it could be slippery. It also has lot of open parking spots so no worry there.

The 17 mile drive is a tour past some very expensive real estate and several golf courses, but also areas of outstanding natural beauty - the point is one, from the crashing waves, the cormorants sunning on the rocks, and the ghost pines, bleached by the sun.
