Diagnosed my cylinder 5 misfire the next morning after I dropped it off because it was too underpowered to drive home. Replaced all of my ignition coils at once and my thermostat for a fair price. They had all of the documentation showing the before and after of each cylinder s performance and even recommended future work priorities that weren t currently necessary. I ll definitely be bringing my car back here based on bad past experiences with local BMW dealers.

Found this shop after going to two other places two find out what was wrong with my Landrover Lr4. Last shop said I needed to go to the dealer of which diagnotic would be $550 and they charged me $150 for nothingKings found it was a bad battery and all of the fault codes cleared. Also they had a service to replace the bad key fob which was setting off the alarm, 1/3 the cost of going to a dealer.Friendly, professional and they know how to fix a car.Will not ever go anywhere else.

They have been amazing at trouble shooting and getting my Jeep back up and running. I had to get a smog and every shop I took it too could not figure out the problem. I left it at kings for the day and they figured out exactly what was wrong. Drove it for me and got my smog passed. No more check engine light. I recommend Kings to everyone.

We stopped in Paso Robles on our way to Sonoma from LA .. Next morning we noticed a warning that we are losing coolant . Went to an auto store , bought the coolant and when pouring it we noticed all went out ! Went to 2 shops , they did not work on German cars . Ended up at King s Auto .This was Monday approx 10AM . We explained the situation & were told they can not look / check the car until next Monday . So , 1 week just to check it out , then order the broken parts & fix it .They absolutely refused to at least check it and see what is wrong ! They could have done it that day or next day .Definitely this was an emergency situation which they had no desire to address it . The person we spoke with was curt & uncaring . I rate them based on our experience and how they were unwilling to help .We called the insurance to tow the car as it was v unsafe to drive around 11 AM . The first towing company said 1 hr . And they kept stringing us along . By 3 PM they said 2 more hours , so the insurance changed 2 more companies until finally they picked up the car at 4PM !All this time : 5 hours we were in the parking lot of King Auto . No water , no food , no bathroom .The employee we spoke w was coming in & out of the office several times & COMPLETELY !!! Ignored us . Not once he acknowledged us . When you see somebody in your parking lot for 5 hours you ask if they ok , offer a glass of water , etc especially considering that we are over 60 years old .They might be v good at fixing cars but when it comes to be kind & caring humans they fail big time . This is total disregard towards people as human beings . If I could I would rate them a zero !We ended having the car looked at the same day & fixed by next day at noon by European Car Specialists . They initially told us they are busy until next week but understood the situation and took us in as an emergency . This is how customers should be treated , especially in a situation like ours . The European Car Specialists value human beings & treats them right !P.S.Reading the owner s response I am not surprised anymore how we were treated there !If a local customer s job had to be delayed 3 hours in order to address our problem I do not think it would have been a problem .,, where is a will, there is a way .The other shop / AutoBahn also was unwilling to address our problem , I did not say your attitude was unique .Still , read the other owner s response to my review . Nice & civilized .

Twice I have taken 2 different cars to Kings. Twice,I have received great ,honest and reasonable service. I have worked in autoshops myself and it is so easy to upsell services to customers. This didn't happen to me at all. They were honest with the diagnosis and gave me solutions. Even if those solutions didn't involve them.I will be back.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Car broke down driving through Paso and stopped here. These guys specialize in European cars. Nick helped us. He made a quick short term fix to the car to help us keep going on our way. Nick advised us against doing the $700 service at his shop and recommend that instead we wait until we get home and get it done by the dealer. Much appreciated Nick for his honesty and being so accommodating.

Excellent experience with King s Auto Care. They are all very professional and courteous. I have a Mercedes and they replaced my brake pads at nearly half the cost of the Mercedes dealer. I will definitely be using King s in the future!Service: BrakesService: Brakes

I usually do not post reviews however I felt compelled to do so regarding this service. The guys here is amazing. I don t know about you but taking a car in for service is like taking a family member to the doctor for surgery. You want the best and you don t want it to hurt too bad. They delivered on both points. They were knowledgeable. Efficient and reasonable. So happy I finally found my go-to mechanic, after many bad experiences with shysters who only want a quick buck. Nick's resume speaks for itself but his level of detail, professionalism and courtesy is part of what makes him a perfect mechanic, the likes of which I've never known before. He goes beyond the extra mile needed, because he cares about his customers, their safety and satisfaction. Nick got me in before lunch and had me ready shortly thereafter. He diagnosed my car as having an issue with tires and called ahead to a reputable tire place and explained my situation and let them know I'd be coming by. Didn't have to do that at all, most mechanics wouldn't. Knowing that I have him to work on my car when needed gives me a level of reassurance that is rare. While I didnt have the pleasure of working with Jim, I don't doubt he's every bit as good as Nick; these guys have the best shop in town!

I've come here several times and am always impressed. Jim always is fair and honest. He even told me that some of the repairs I thought I needed weren't necessary. He is making the upkeep of my 18 year old BMW convertible affordable. Most recently he had sources to repair the stitching in the seat and repaired the worn out upholstery on the armrest. Fast & Efficient. Always willing to advise on issues happening with my car, I ve just popped in to ask a question and gotten answers. Just had car in for regular oil change and they were able to fix issue with low tire pressure sensor going off on dash which should not have been . Issues are always resolved professionally and in a timely manner!Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance

This is hands down the best automotive shop in the county. Jim is talented, friendly, professional and extremely efficient. His service is prompt and he communicates with you throughout the entire process of repair. He has worked on my BMW, Mercedes and Ranger from small jobs like replacing light bulbs to big things like water pumps, fuel pumps and clutches. I highly recommend Kings Auto for anything you might need for your vehicle. There has yet to be something that Jim couldn't fix. Bonus, the price is always right.

Kings Auto Care was by far the BEST experience I have had by a mechanic. Jim is the owner and sole worker at his shop.Jim is very honest and more affordable than any other mechanic. He is very thorough and spends time explaining exactly what is being done.Additionally, he will not try to upsell any products or services that are not required. I live down in SLO and will drive all the way to Paso to Kings Auto Care every time!!Note: the one and two star reviews were from a previous owner/company and not associated with Jim s exceptional care.

Wonderful customer service. Nick notified me when the diagnosis was completed and offered several options for repairs. It then was done on time and slightly under the original estimate! Great experience. Julie worked with me on the price when it seemed like all hell was breaking loose. I needed a lot of work done on my breaks and I got my truck back in 11 days, just in time to get back to work. They did a great job and I definitely recommend their service.

My wife and I were driving back from our Honeymoon in SLO and our car broke down at the 46 and 101 interchange. I saw King's autocar reviews and had the driver take the car there. We met Jim and he evaluated the vehicle and gave us a very fair quote on a hard-to-find part for our Mercedes. He was able to source the part, and installed it in record time! ATTENTION CONSUMERS...King's Auto Care is NOT AFFILIATED with MOONLIGHT MECHANIC.....I am proud and honored to write this FIVE STAR review for King's Auto Care in Paso Robles, CA. I have been looking for a reliable, honest, dependable and straight-up mechanic for several years. My search is now over, because I'll be taking my vehicle and my son's vehicle (in just 3 short years!) to Jim Corcoran, owner and master mechanic at King's Auto Care for LIFE! I'd been very leary of taking my car to a dealer that might attempt to take advantage of women, or other consumers.As a result, I had let a lot of routine maintenance service fall behind schedule. Jim has taken such good care of me, my vehicle and my peace of mind - he is an honest, outstanding mechanic. I trust his knowledge and expertise 100%! He has worked with me to complete the service my Kia needed and all within my budget on a timeline I could handle! Jim advised me as to what services were of top priority, all with fair, competitive estimates. Jim also shared the what's and why's of what needed to be done, and never did I feel like I was getting "the run around," but instead good, solid information about my car and its' service.I'll be bringing my Kia back for one more round of service this month, and then, thanks to Jim, my Kia won't need any more maintenance for another 60,000 miles.
