Tower professional, on time, found out reception got the address wrong where car was being towed to. They did seem a Lil distracted/unfriendly when I made the appointment. But overall happy with their service

We were towing our travel trailer when a leaf spring broke leaving us stranded on a freeway entrance ramp.Johnboy's towing to the rescue! The man knew the best way to handle the situation to prevent further damage, documented it all with photos for insurance purposes, towed our little house to an RV park, maneuvered it into place and leveled it. Amazing. Then took the time to suggest some good local restaurants.If you are a full time RVer and find yourself needing a tow, I highly recommend Johnboy's. Thank you Gordon!

Sure, I'll try to explain to you (owner) Why 1 star.Because even though you have good service which I have used before...You charged an unconscious person who was in the hospital from a crash, nearly a thousand bucks to move that car less than 5 miles and, hold it for less than a week.And. It would have been allot more $ had there not been a rush of help to afford to get it out of your predatory hostage/blackmail operation before you charged even more.I don't care how 'the world works'.... If you can't see anything wrong with that, then you deserve allot more than a single star.

Love these guys! They are our GO-TO towing company for Central Coast Moving & Storage. Saved us the other day with an overheated truck on the SLO grade. This is by far the VERY WORST TOW COMPANY IN THE WORLD. You better hope to Gof your vehicle doesn't end up here cause they are down right thieves!!!! Someone stole my vehicle from Dry Creek apartments and when my Scion TC was was recovered a couple days later and PRPD wasn't able to get a hold of me they towed it and I never saw my car again. The employees the Female in particular are self entitled lying crooks that should be brought up on charges. THEY STOLE MY VEHICLE ... FOR THEMSELVES. To start off the women lied to me on the pho .ne the first day claiming that I could not pick up my car until my ins,urance performs a safety inspection[LIE, THAT WAY THE BILL WOULD RACK UP OVER THE WEEKEND SO I WOULDNT KMM54 BE ABLE TO

Johnboy's towed our tiny house on wheels to the 2019 Tiny House Expo in San Luis Obispo and back to Creston. They were courteous enough to call us to let us know that the driver had been called out to an accident, and would be about 20 minutes late. Gordon showed up right on time after that, and was professional and courteous, and the towing went well without a hitch (well, with a hitch, but pun intended) - there and back again. When we need another tow, we know now who to call - Johnboy's!

Calling John Boys towing on a day that was starting to be a Perfect Storm day for me, was made more tolerable when Elijah S., showed up and saved me, thank you for making me laugh that day !

They were very helpful and arrived on time and even offered to give us a ride. We didn t take him up on a ride but he did deliver our car directly to the tire store to get our tire fixed and dropped the keys in the drop box making everything smooth and easy. Thanks!

Received my stolen trk back yesterday. It was all in normal shape. Had to go to the pd to get an auto release form first. Appears one can never take enough cash to get your auto back. At least they take credit cards. The gate closed at 5 but they were kind enough to stay open until I returned with the release form. So make sure you go and get that first. The office was very kind and professional!!

Gordon is an absolute legend!Our poor van got stuck in the mud and he came out to help about 45 minutes after we called. We were super worried his tow truck would also get stuck, the area our van was in seemed incredibly muddy and narrow. Gordon was incredibly careful and professional- got us out in no time! Wrx motor completely scattered getting on the highway. They showed up quickly. Gordon was my driver. He was super awesome and got my car hooked up and towed quickly. These guys are always on point. No matter what your situation is they can help you. Friendly call takers and friendly drivers. They strive to get the job done with as minimal damage as possible. Best there is in this county! Would recommend them over anybody else for sure. Hope you never have to use them but if you do call these guys

Gordon at Johnboy's saved our holiday weekend. Our Lexus refused to start for unknown reasons, and AAA failed to get us a tow truck on a holiday weekend. Gordon spoke to us on the phone, asked a couple of questions, immediately realized that the problem was a strange interaction between the key fob and the car's safe mode, and suggested a simple fix that we tried and worked right away. After 3 hours of dealing with AAA to no effect, Gordon saved us in 5 minutes at no charge. He even explained to us what was going on. I don't live in this area but if I ever needed a tow company I'd call him in a heartbeat!

Second time using Johnboy's Towing and both have been great experiences. Today, car wouldnt start in the worst, tightest parking lot ever during the busiest time of day!Gordon arrived, pushed my car in a place where he could hook up and not block the flow of traffic. He was patient and considerate with all the craziness of the parking lot and got us out quickly and on our way. I was at my wits end and his positive attitude kept me from loosing it Thank you Gordon!

Had car trouble and was able to schedule a tow for the same day, on a Sunday of all days. Gordon was here on time, very kind and had excellent customer service. He went above and beyond to help me out! The person who took my call to schedule the service was great as well but I cannot remember his name. I would definitely recommend these guys!

Towed my truck 6 miles. $75. Said it was $100 to junk it. No problem. 10 months later I get a bill from a collection agency for $3,470. Why. Because they held it in thier lot for 50 days charging me $75 a day. They couldn't explain why they didn't try to reach out to me. Because this is thier MO. Criminal. Total rip off.

My boat and trailer broke down Gordon showed up made me feel real comfortable did an awesome awesome awesome job bringing my boat back to Bakersfield California. I do not appreciate my vehicle being taken without my consent and held for ransom. $350.00 to recover it. I understand I was parked in a temporary no parking zone and I acknowledge that I made a mistake parking there. We could debate whether or not towing was necessary or�justified in this case. I would have moved my car if I had been notified. The police could have had my number as soon as they ran the plates and given me call. �They chose to punish me instead, costing me a total of $489.00. Have whatever opinion you want about these types of laws (scams) and I ll have my opinion about the companies that choose to enforce them.Beyond�that,�another reason for the one start review is your customer service. I had to ride my bike to the tow yard during my lunch break. It was 95 degrees. When I arrived no one was there. Finally someone showed up, but I had to wait a very long time outside in the hot sun.$350.00 seems extremely high to tow the car 4 miles.

We got a flat near Ragged Point Inn and Val came to the rescue. He was incredibly professional and put us at ease and was fun to talk with on the way to the repair shop. He even found a repair shop for us on a Saturday night that was able to replace our tire after we struck out looking for one all day before he showed up. Val turned what could have been a bad day into a pretty good one. Thanks!

Let's just say I would give to anyone who towes in this county. You guys are hyw robbers and it is so messed up the way you can keep a straight face and charge 500+ dollars to get truck out that was not even my fault. Didn't know my buddy didn't have a license when he borrowed truck. But with every impound there is someone else who's life is ruined because you guys charge 500 dollars a day to keep it there. I think people should learn a lesson not ruin there way of life and how they feed their children. But go on wondering why it is displeasing. I wonder.

I have to give a huge thanks to this business for being extremely fast in my emergency! My car managed to lock with my baby inside in the heat and they were there within minutes to get him out! I can t even begin to show how much appreciation I owe this business! Thank you again!

Five stars for Johnboy's towing with John (owner) and Jeremy for getting me out of the muck with a John Deere Backhoe, a Kubota Tractor and Toyota FJ Cruiser - all in the same day!Stupid is as stupid does as I was going through the vineyard and looking for any new squirrel or gopher activity as well as checking the status of the vines. My FJ cruiser got stuck on a side road - between the ag fence and a row of vines. First stupid mistake especially this time of year and our rainy season. No problem, get the Kubota tractor to pull out the FJ. Hooked them up and eased on the Kubota and got the Kubota stuck in the muck. Second stupid mistake.My neighbor has a large John Deere Backhoe and has taken out many stuck equipment, so he decided to help pull out the Kubota and the FJ. We got the Kubota hooked up and started to pull it out and then the backhoe got stuck in the muck. Third stupid mistake.I called Johnboy s towing baed on my neighbors positive experience with them previously in extracting a stuck garbage truck. (That s another story.) Called John and he set an appointment for the next day on Sunday. John and Jeremy arrived on time and professionally winched all three vehicles out of the muck with no damage to the ag fence or vineyard row or the vehicles. Amazing and not an easy task given the hill angle and unstable ground. True professionals and good guys.Don t be stupid like I was, but if it ever happens and you need a winch/towing service call Johnboy s Towing. Highly recommended.

Val (Valentine) was awesome to deal with and made this hiccup of a broken truck on our vacation much easier to deal with. Great customer service. Really great to see such good service, especially while traveling.
