Greg gives great smog service and has you in & out quickly! Just make sure the car being tested has been driven a bit before bringing it by or he may ask you to come back "Upsell Tactic."

I won't go ANYWHERE else as long as Sam and Greg are involved in this business.Fast, efficient, courteous service, and a great price.You might have a hard time finding or navigating in BUT believe me it's worth the effort.Without an appointment I was in and out in about 30 minutes and I've been coming for years.Thanks Greg Service: Smog certification

Very friendly and fast service. Clean waiting area with complimentary water, coffee, and tea. Go to the website listed here on Google to get a coupon code for $26.75. It's a big savings from the $49.75 regular price. Cash or credit card only here and no AMEX.

This is my go-to place for my smog checks. He's very helpful and hospitable while waiting for your turn. The lot is a bit tricky to get in and out of but definitely worth it. Very fast service.

I had a great experience here! I came by on a weekday afternoon for a smog check (I was concerned about not having an appt). Koko (Greg) greeted me very warmly, & told me that he could help. He welcomed me to sit down, while he performed the test. He was quick & efficient, but conversed with me periodically, so I felt comfortable. Koko has such a warm presence about him; I felt like I was among family. Being a woman, I sometimes feel uncomfortable at these places, while I'm viewed & treated differently. Definitely not the case at Vista Test. Koko treated me like a daughter, and got me out quickly so that I could go on with my day. The place was clean, had comfortable seating, a TV to watch, and it didn't smell like grease monkey (if you know, you know). Additionally, their price was extremely fair. I was lucky to download a coupon from their website beforehand, which saved me a little money (always appreciated)!! I highly recommend this place!! Don't forget to tip the technician as a kind gesture for their service. I will be recommending this place to others, and returning when needed. This place is kinda tucked away and that makes it a bit of an adventure. It is two driveways east of Denny's.Vista is in the back right hand corner of the lot. Be careful as you navigate back to the shop. There can be a lot of activity taking place on the property.Vista is one of the few smog test stations open untill 6pm. I arrived at about 5:35 and got Greg as my technician. He was superb. Friendly, informed, and fast. He had me out of their by 5:50. He is well worth 5 stars and thats what I am giving him. Good job Greg and thanks again.Services: Initial registration, Smog certification, Emissions testing

disappointed place. Open on Sundays, which is very handy for someone like me who is other wise busy. The owner/manager was very helpful and friendly. I appreciated him and his professionalism.

I got in on a Sunday morning. No wait. Fast and nice service. Proprietor explains to me he'll stay open if someone calls running a few minutes after hours. Seems very willing to make happy customers.

This place had no wait on a weekend, if you go online they have a coupon for around $27.50 which is a significant savings from the regular $49 fee. Plus certificate fee of $8.25 of course. I was in and out of there fast.The place is easy to miss being up a driveway and not easily visible from the street. It's in a small area with other businesses, right after the Denny's. Take the next quick turn.

I love coming here since the workers are friendly & very professional. The price is comparable to other test centers but I like the extra touches they provide such as free "cold" water bottle &/or candies. I recommend this place to my friends.

I've been there today and I really liked the place really fast, honest and very affordable. Carlos is a very nice guy, from the moment we were there he was nice and smiling offered us water and drove the car to the test Lane and has done everything professionally. I would recommend him to everybody in Pasadena. 5 stars

Based on the positive reviews I had read on here, I called to make an appt, and I didn't even need one. Sam the owner was very nice, and the SMOG test was done in very little time. He offered me a bottle of water while I was waiting. Very personable service. Highly recommend it.

Awesome service. Quick and easy. I was out in 10 mins. The guys were attentive, they offered water while I waited. I Highly recommend it. You can t beat that they re open on a Sunday either.

Nice place. Very fast service. Staff was very courteous. And most importantly they are open Sundays. It is a bit easy to miss though as they share a parking lot with some other auto shops. But, there is a sign outside that says Vista Smog. There is also a sign that says Car Lot.

I called around to 4 or 5 other places and Vista Test Only Center had the BEST "out the door" PRICE! Other may quote a low price but they add on "Document" fee's, tax, or something. I went there with my girlfriend to get her Toyota Corolla smogged and the owner gave us both ice cold bottled water from the fridge on a super hot day when we needed it most. There was a car he was already working on and as soon as that one was done, he put ours on the machine and we were done. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Side note: The California Government is demanding Smog Test stations buy new equipment for $30,000 to $50,000 which will probably run most family operations (non-corporate) out of business. Its a complete fraud that we are required to smog our cars every 2 years. Google this: "16 ships create as much pollution as all the cars in the world". Its a money making scam that requires us to smog our cars. Read the article - see what I mean, its backed up by years of research.

This place is great. The owner is very nice and he tells you what needs to be looked at by a mechanic. Very honest here...plus it was very fast! Absolutely recommend this place
