The mechanic I would normally go to was too busy to fit me in so I looked up another mechanic and found ScooterDoc in Pasadena. Met with Rich and he checked out my bike as it would stall when stopped at a light trying to gas it. Sure enough he found issues and noticed my fuel injector was installed improperly, then proceeded to reinstall the part. It was clear to me the previous mechanic was not nearly as competent or dedicated to providing excellent and professional work like Rich, I'll be coming back to him for any work needed on my ride.

I own a prized Vespa GT200 that I use daily for commuting to work and also for recreational purposes. Over time, I have noticed a decline in my Vespa's performance, and my confidence in riding it has also diminished. I have already experienced two services from a solo mechanic who tends to tip bikes sideways to drop oil in downtown areas. Despite searching through numerous reviews and locations to find a better option, I was not satisfied until I came across Rich at Scooterdoc, Hands down Par Excellence. Rich has over twenty years of experience working specifically with modern Vespa models, and his expertise was evident in the performance of my bike. I now have renewed confidence in the safety and exhilaration of my Vespa. I highly recommend Rich at Scooterdoc for anyone who owns a modern Vespa and wants the best performance and service. This is the guy you have to see for your Vespa needs. Awesome respectful fast service. Rich is the kind of person you want to trust your bike. We are very happy with the work done. Our daughter's ET4150 is a different bike now. He advised clearly on what needed to be done, gave us fair estimate and the turnaround was super fast. Also, he was a pleasure to deal with and always available on the phone.In a few words: If you want quality, knowledgeable and honest service for a fair price, call Rich.

Rich is the man. Blew out a tire on a huge pothole and decided to go with him and see how it went. He was on the phone first try, arranged a pickup for the next day while I was at work, then had my tire fixed within 3 days as I requested. He clearly cares about details, and took the time to wash my bike, check the oil, and go over some maintenance stuff I can do at home. Going with small knowledgeable shops for stuff like this really pays w communication, ease and quality. I ll be back soon.

This is the Vespa service shop for the San Gabriel Valley. Rich handled my Vespa repairs, service like he would be working on his own bike. Most importantly, I scooted away believing that Rich is very capable and knowing about my Vespa. I will continue to return for future service. I trust him and his work.

After reading all the positive reviews, I decided to give Scooter Doc a chance, and man did it pay off! Rich was able to do my 600-mile check-up promptly and at fraction of the cost the dealership was quoting me. Fast forward a few months later and my Vespa had the check engine light on and would stall at red lights. Not only was Rich able to diagnose the issue with my Vespa GTS 300, but he also managed to do it in under a day. He told me what the issue was and what needed to be done to resolve it, all at a very fair price! I followed his advice and the next day everything was back to normal! I can't express how grateful I am to Rich for his expertise and helpfulness. Thanks again Rich for going above and beyond!

I gave Rich a call to ask if he worked on E bikes because I needed a repair on a consistent flat tire. He politely told me he does not any more & took his time to explain why, making a valid argument. However, Rich still went ahead & suggested what I can do to avoid the ongoing issue. In addition, he recommended an E bike shop across the street from him that might help. Even if I did not receive any repair services from Rich, I'm still giving him an excellent review on how he handled the conversation over the phone. I sensed honesty & professionalism in Rich so I'm sharing my experience here. That being said, he will only work on Vespas & other non E scooters. Call or go to Velo Pasadena Inc for your E bike needs. Hope this helps.

I was looking for a scooter repair shop in Los Angeles, and I found Rich at ScooterDoc. He was very educational and he checked over every part of the bike even though he was just did routine maintenance and replaced a tire. When he returned my ride, I was totally blown away. It sounded and rode like it was brand new. I would highly recommend Rich for all of your vespa repair needs and service! A+ Brother!

I had some questions about some sounds in my muffler and called Rich from the other side of country. Told him my situation, even though I am on the side of the country he took my call asked good questions and called me back after he found a parts dealer online. He helped me locate a muffler and gave me some great advice about taking care of my ride and my safety. First rate guy.

Rich was willing to check out my Lance scooter which was already a huge plus since he specializes in Vespas. He picked it up for a reasonable price (another plus!) and came very quickly after I'd called. Before leaving, he asked about some history on the scooter and gave me some tips to keep it running well and on what repairs could help avoid more costly service in the future.The issue with my scooter appeared to be a result of some mishandling in the past, so unfortunately it had to go back to the shop where it was serviced before. Still, Rich offered to transport it himself and took care of contacting the old shop to confirm that they could fix it. His service lives up to all the great reviews even though it wasn't an issue he could resolve. I haven't worked with any other place that goes out of the way to ensure anyone doing business with them has a good experience.

Called and spoke with mechanic. He gave me advice and pointed me in the right direction over the phone for over 10 minutes. You know you re dealing with a true mechanic and good person when they put in the effort to help you fix it yourself. Can t thank them enough. Would highly recommend. Definitely not the guy who s gonna suggest and charge you for a service when he can help you do it yourself. Motorcycle people are the best.

Previous reviews listed describe what would like to say already,I have been using Scooter Doc for 1 year now, 3/2016 to 3/2017 and he is provides very consistent and professional service, Top NotchUpon pickup from service, bike is presented as if it was on the sales floor, clean, pristine and feels great when riding again.Advice and recommendation that Rich supplies while help extend that life of my bike.Thank you Scooter DocGreg in Pasadena

If you're in a super mad hurry? May or not be your spot. But if you want it done RIGHT? Rich and Jonathan are your guys! Rich's knowledge is in-depth and he legitimately cares about the work quality and the client's satisfaction. And the tech Jonathan, nice nice guy, and he saved me hundreds of dollars by identifying and solving and much lesser problem than our original suspicions. My horse runs better than when I first got it! Im not using anyone else but the Scoot Docs! Thx gents! - Xavier

Got my SYM symba up an running. Seemed honest and was very responsive by phone. For less than towing companies, even picked up my scooter so he could get to work on it at his shop.

i just called and the guy who answered was very rude. He was talking in such a rushed and quiet tone that i honestly couldn t understand him and when i told him that if he can t work electric that s fine, he just hung up abruptly. they need to approve their customer service.

They are the greatest service ever!!!!!! They rebuilt my bike from nothing. Another bike shop had stripped my bike down and had it for five months and just ruined it. This duo knew how to bring my bike back to life. Thanks, Guys
