Mike was very responsive to my calls and tried to help. However im very disappointed on the artistry of my vehicle; not only they not Install back the windshield trim holders, but my engine compartment was full of some wood debris, also now I can not go over a bump without my windshield, making a squeaky noise..... Super annoyed! Only giving a 3 because of customer service.Not to mention that when I started to drive the sunroof boot fell on my head -_-.

Mike and Danny, JK Volvo are the best. I've been going to them for years and they always do expert repairs at a fair price. They're Volvo experts and they both explain all the repairs in advance in a way that I can understand and they give me the pros and cons on any repair for my older model. They even helped me with some unacceptable repairs I got elsewhere. I trust them and I feel fortunate to have found them. It's always worth the drive or the tow! Thanks JK Volvo!

I've had nothing but good experiences with the people at JK. As somebody who spends a lot of time around Volvos and is a member of a Volvo club, I will be the first to tell you these cars are not in any way perfect. Being a luxury brand, they have many underlying problems that can arise when not cared for properly. To give an example, my car has many cooling hoses that if left unchecked can fail prematurely and cause catastrophic engine failure. In light of this, I must stress that it is important to have them maintained properly by focused and knowledgeable mechanics. But more importantly, you should choose a mechanic with a background in working in these cars. I can tell you first hand that the people working at JK are very experienced and knowledgeable in this way. I rest easy knowing that every time I take my car in for an oil change, the mechanic will inspect the vehicle and catch these problems before they happen. On top of that, they are very customer oriented. For example, I have many things that I am in process of replacing. As I previously mentioned, I routinely attend car events and want my car to be in the best condition possible. Whenever JK happens to comes across the parts I need, they let me know and often provide them free of charge. All around, they are great people who take a vested interest in the well being of their customers.Services: Auto body & trim repair, General repairs & maintenance, Body & Trim, Auto body & trim replacement

I took my Volvo to JK Volvo over 10 years ago for the first time. My car was running perfectly, but in anticipation to a very long drive, I requested that everything be checked for safety reasons. I was fine at the time with the very expensive repair bill ; I trusted them. Had JK do all the maintenance for all these years, over 10. This time when I requested the same: a Safety Check. Car still running fine. I received a bill again that was very high, around $2,500. The disappointment was that for that $ all that was done were, hoses belts and the car battery. I took my Volvo elsewhere, and the new place had to replace the Bushings: an honest repair. My loyalty to JK Volvo cost me many $, and could have cost me my car.

I brought my old xc90 to JK after having it mothballed in the garage for several years. They gave me accurate estimates on the how much his rehab would cost. Upgrading his firmware was difficult, but they took it to heart and didn't give up until it was done, enabling him to pass smog inspection again. Thanks to everyone there, my car is roadworthy again.

I had JK put a rebuilt engine into my C30. I called them to ask for an estimate and Mike offered to sell me an engine he bought for his own car. It was extremely reasonable. They did a great job, and it was relatively fast considering the scale of the service. Everyone there is extremely nice and put up with my BS. Case and point, after the installation I had some issues and an engine mount broke. JK had it replaced free of charge. Furthermore, they are all extremely knowledgeable about the cars they work on. Rudy and Mike didn t hesitate to give me their honest opinions on the car.Services: Auto exhaust system repair, Engine repair

Great honest mechanics, I won't hesitate to return for major work or maintenance. JK also offers great prices for work that is offered here and won't up sell you on work that you don't need!

I came all the way from Ventura to purchase my Volvo C30 from JK, and it was absolutely worth it. Mike was fair, fun, and really considerate. He stepped away from everything he was doing and made sure the purchase went through as fast as possible. I absolutely will point my Volvo-loving friends his way.

Ever since getting our first Volvo in 2016 from the dealer around the corner I decided that jk would be our goto for service after reading reviews here. Happy to say that they have always provided outstanding service. In this day and age having someone you can really trust just makes the world a better place and life that much easier.

The owner Mike is a genuine guy, really cares for anybody who comes through those doors and makes sure you're taken care of. The whole staff there at JK goes above and beyond. The technicians Rudy and Albert are exceptionally knowledgeable about these vehicles and the service advisor Danny is hospitable to say the least. Been taking my S60 here for two years and it will never see the inside of another shop. It's a good feeling to know there's a local shop that I can trust with my Volvo. Best Volvo Specialist shop around and it's not even close. Besides, there's a reason this place has been thriving for over 40 years.

Exceptional... honest... friendly... quality service!!! There is so much positive things to say about JK Volvo. Mike, Danny and the team are great. I was referred to them by a European mechanic who does not work on Volvos and have not been disappointed. Every job is does with excellence. They demonstrate high customer service and integrity. You never want to go to a mechanic for repairs, but if you have to go, this is the place. In a short time, I've gotten to know them and they feel like family.

If ever you want to go to a business who s professionals know what they re diagnosing, repairing, replacing this is the place to go. I have had, what I thought was a poor car purchase but what I really had were poor car mechanics and this business is full of staff who know what they re doing. I m so happy with my car repairs which were undoubtedly expensive but they were all inherited problems and finally I have someone I can go to who I know will tell me the truth, tell me things straight which is all I ask. They have the perfect approach and they re doing something good. Thanks for everything you ve done on my car. Big special thanks to Mike at JK Volvo Specialists! My daughter just graduated college, got a job and moved to Los Angeles from Oklahoma City with her boyfriend. They had not been there for more than a week when their Volvo s60 started making a loud whistle noise. We got Mike's number from a good friend of ours and have been so pleased with the service. They were able to diagnose the issue even before the car was brought in (vacuum leak from the crank case vent valve that is a part of the oil filter housing), and they did the work quick and efficiently. We are so thankful and happy we found someone to take care of our daughter and boyfriend's car--especially since they are so far away from home. Thanks again Mike!

I was hearing a high pitched noise from my car on the way back home to San Diego. I pulled over, called JK Volvo and drove my sad little car into the shop. Mike knew exactly what the problem was , had the part in stock and got me on the road in lighting speed. Amazing service!! I am so grateful to have stumbled across such a professional business. Best Volvo Repair Shop in Pasadena. Mike really took care of me and was able to have my auto ready for me when he said it would be ready. Mike at JK Volvo sold my elderly mother a 1988 Volvo 240 wagon. Over the course of the 7 year ownership he charged her nearly $15,000 in service including 3 OEM Bosch Coils over the course of 1.5 years (not a part that needs replacement that often). I believe that this repair shop took advantage of her and I would recommend finding another mechanic.
