Probably the last honest car repair shop in business. The husband/wife duo who run this shop are the best and they work hard to get your car fixed fast for the best price they can get you. I ve been coming to them for a few years now and each time I m impressed with the work they do and how kind they are. They even take the time to show me the broken parts and explain everything. I can t say enough good things about this shop. I m so happy to have found the best mechanic and shop around!

Best Auto Repair Shop! Quick, fast and friendly. I had a major issue with my vehicle and went to a few other mechanic shops, no one was successful. I went here to Jack's Auto Repair, my issue was fixed and carefully explained to me in full detail. I will be returning to Jack's for future Auto repairs.

Making a honest living look easy. reliable straight forward is always preferred cause if they don t tell me . I won t know til one day no more car cause it had a leak & repaired it . Cause with a leak can cause bad things only you would know something not right of oil can cost$$$$$. But instead got me back on my 4 wheels in a timely manner no cutting corners and job done right the first time come to mind not the second time then this is the shop for you and me recommended

These guys run a great shop. I don't think that there prices are "cheep" but I've never been up sold or been told that I have to pay for any repairs that I knew my car didn't need to drive comfortably and safely. They are reliable, courteous, and honest businessmen that have made a customer for life. So much so, that I actually signed up for yelp just to write this review. Thanks.

Had to go here in a pinch. Car broke down on the way to work. Had to find a place close to work, quick. I feel very lucky I found Frank. He fixed my car (2000 Honda Accord V6) that had an ongoing EGR Valve issue without changing out the EGR (Emissions Sensor). Something that 3 other mechanics recommended to replace. I have since brought 2 vehicles here and have had only good experiences.He is honest and straight to the point. He will not recommend fixing anything that does not need to be fixed. I appreciate this type of mechanic. Harder and harder to find the real mechanics out there. Recommended Frank to a couple of other Co-workers who have had nothing but good things to say about Jacks Auto. Good mechanic close to work, can't beat it.

Frank was great for my initial visit. He gave me details and rough quotes on my car before I even got it towed there. I didn't want to commit to a place without having some estimates and Frank quickly told me some possible reasons for my breakdown, cost for worst case scenario, and estimated timeline. The price and turnaround time were very reasonable, and he was able to start work the next day!He's great with getting work started quickly. I think the price was a little expensive, but maybe that's South Pasadena. He replaced my spark plugs and wiring, and thermostat and charged me almost $500, given that my spark plugs were very difficult to get out probably due to the overheated engine and rust. However he did get the engine starting again, which was the main reason I went there since my car shut down on the highway due to overheating. Frank wasn't as nice and seemed impatient when I would ask questions and details for what needed to be done and what he had done...BUT, the main problem seems to be the radiator connection to the cap, which is worn, but he didn't fix this and did the others instead. He did suggest the worn radiator could be a problem and weeks later told me it wasn't holding pressure when I had to bring it back. This is not the order my mechanic friend says he would have done, since the main reason my car overheated was due to the coolant leaking from the radiator. The car overheated again, when I drove it for the first time after Frank's fixes on the highway. So I took it back and Frank checked it out quickly but said the radiator would now need to be replaced.I had to move, so I drove it on local roads while filling with coolant regularly. I finally took it to a shop, and they discovered that the radiator was definitely bad, but that there was evidence the thermostat housing was leaking coolant and even showed me the leak when the radiator was off. They said the thermostat housing should have been replaced when the thermostat was replaced, too, especially with my rusted car (due to northeast snow and salt). Oh well, a few should have dones...

I went today to check my car because I thought it was leaking oil, Frank checked it and told me I had nothing to worry about (the oil was leaking from the outside from something I had hit) He didn't charge me at all I really value Frank's honesty. I'll come back here next time.
