Highly recommend this auto shop! Mike was super helpful each time I brought my car and was communicative with what needed to be repaired. As a female there's always the worry that you are being taken advantage of at an auto shop but that was not my experience here. I ended up moving states and Mike told me to call if I ever needed a second opinion. I took him up on this offer and he was available to talk to me and give me advice when I had to take my car to a new auto shop. If I ever move back to CA I will hands down go back to Gabriel's!

My Lexus GX throttle body broke down and I had to have it towed to Gabriel's. Of course it was rainy day. I chose Gabriel's for their reviews and AAA had also recommended them. Mike at Gabriel's took care of my throttle body, since it was already there, I decided to get my brakes and oil change done. I definitely shopped around and found their pricing to be fair. The work was high quality and professional. Frankly, just walking into the office and the shop, they run a clean and organized shop and it shows in the work they do. Thanks Mike for helping me out on a soggy day.

Changed flywheel and starter toy 66 Chevy Impala. Diagnosed and fixed fast and a very fair price.Closed every other Saturday so may be closed. But was able to drop off Saturday leave the keys in drop off and call back on Monday morning. Again thanks Michael and Gabriel's Automotive

I've brought two different cars to Gabriel's a handful of times and have had a great experience every visit. Always thorough, efficient, transparent service, and fairly priced. And more than once I've had unnecessary charges waived. Highly recommend.

Used for several repairs, and they do a great job every time of assessing the situation for me, fixing what needs fixing for the car to keep operating safely and reliably, and letting me know what other issues are superficial rather than trying to push me into unnecessary costs. They go the extra mile to make sure they're doing all they can and I'd trust them with any car issue to deal with me fairly.Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance, Auto brake repair, Brakes, Auto maintenance, Oil change

These guys do a great job. We've taken our car here for the last 2+ years and have family that have taken vehicles here for a lot longer. They are honest--something hard to find in an auto shop.Our Honda was having issues starting; we thought maybe a bad battery or alternator. We brought it in, they noticed that the wire was loose on the battery terminal, tightened it up, and we haven't had an issue since.They could have taken advantage of us--probably a $1,000 bill easy. Instead they tightened a screw for us for free, and we drove away. Awesome experience. We trust them.

If I could give Mike a 20/10 stars I would! So kind and professional, and he even offered to take me to Starbucks while they worked on my car since it was raining. He told me what was going on with my car and gave me honest advice on what to do without making me feel pressured to spend an arm and a leg on my car. And he didn't charge me for fixing the corrosion in my battery. THANK YOU will definitely be back for any car issues in the future and 100% recommend for anyone needing help.Service: Battery

If you are a female, AVOID!!!I went last Thursday to get my brakes changed after having this place recommended by the person who did my oil change earlier that morning. I had an appointment and everything.When I arrived, 2 men arrived at the same time. I was told to wait in the lobby, even with the appointment, while they went on to fix the men s cars.Afterwards, they just rushed through my intake, took my keys and made me walk the 20 minutes back to my house. No offers for a ride or anything. Not even a price or time estimate. I had to call back multiple times to get any information from them.When I got my car back, the man Mike was trying to gaslight me by saying I hope you re happy! Was that fast enough for you?! We moved cars just for you! .The next day my brakes were squealing, smoking and smelt horrible. I called Mike back and always assured that it was normal and it would stop after my trip over the weekend. I drove 5 hours to my moms and back, drove through LA and am continuing to drive with squealing brakes.They WILL NOT stop squealing! I have no idea what to do now. When I tried to call again this morning to ask if it was supposed to still be like this, they just deflected and told me I have to call back later.I have a child and I don t think brakes are supposed to sound like this still, so I am getting scared to even use my car now.If you are female, AVOID!! They won t take you seriously, they will give you subpar service and will refuse to actually take care of any problems that may arise. Not a good place.

Gabriel auto shop are really good service and the mechanics are really great. Great on engine diagnostic and the price is fair.

Mike, the owner, is extremely proffessional and accomodating. He has worked on both my wife's Prius and my Chevy Cruze. He always offers fair and transparent pricing with excellent service. I've been to Gabriel's multiple times in the past year or so for various repairs and regular maintenance on my Prius. Mike is incredibly knowledgable and generous, and everyone here works quickly to get your car taken care of. Would definitely recommend.

Mike was amazing! I was leaking coolant and he was able to diagnose and repair it in one day. He is very compassionate and cares about his customers. Service was great! I really recommend this shop! Would do business with them again!

Hi , did go in the other day. Had them replace my thermastat ( becuz i was told it needed to be ) but honestly not 100% it was even bad. But my check engine lite is still on !!! So frustrating, and yes , I did go drive it 50 to 70 miles , as I was told to do , by the Smog guy. I know Mike asked me if i did it , becuz he said he had told me to drive it , afterwards about that far. But honestly i do not recall him telling me that , but knew to do it becuz of the Smog guy. Anyway, took it to OReilly's , just to do a " code detection " it comes up P0125 , it can be several different things wrong, involving coolant intake, or a engine coolant sensor bad , but definitely has to do with those or ??? But I have the list of what it could be. I just need it fixed , and praying they can fix the problem and it not cost alot !!! They do seem ( Mike ) honest , it is so hard to trust mechanics , sorry , but have been lied to before reg. repairs needed. I keep track of all repairs on all my cars I have had. So i know if , being taken advantage of. Thank u Service: Auto maintenance

They did an amazing and fast job on the timing belt and water pump replacement for my Subaru, and quoted me over half less than the Subaru authorized dealer. Mike was very courtesies and informative. And they had the car ready by end of day!! Thanks guys!

GREAT experience!!! I have two toddlers and the employees were so helpful, polite, and quick. We sat and waited for the car in a nice clean and quiet waiting room. The car was done so quickly we were in and out of there in no time. WIthout a doubt the BEST mechanic shop I've been to. I will certainly be back as well as recommend this place to family and friends.

Had a terrible experience here back in Februrary/March, spent 2k here, as they kept saying more was wrong and I just wanted to drive safely. When they did my suspension, I kept hearing a rattle noise that didn't sound right. So I brought it back twice, he drove it (which was easy to hear right away!) told me it was fine and that I was crazy. That noise was very unnerving. Went to a different shop and they agreed it didn't sound right when they test drove it and then figured out he put the suspension on loose and fixed the rattle same day!! Gabriel's doesn't have the best prices to begin with and I trust Als auto shop way more than these guys for any job I need done now. My advice? Look for other shops.!

I've known Mike at Gabriel's Automotive for seven years. Mike, his son and his staff are such wonderful people. Every problem with your car is their problem, too, and they want to ensure your 100% satisfaction. They're attentive, always fair, and are even patient if you're 24 hours late picking up your vehicle. I will always enthusiastically recommend Gabriel's to anyone who asks.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!I would give this shop NO stars if that was possible. The service is absolutely horrible. I was treated with no respect what so ever and even yelled at! Furthermore, this shop is more expensive than any other places in there area. Trust me, save yourself some grief and money and call other shops for your auto repair needs.FYI - I ended up going to High Quality Mobile Inc located at 2435 E Colorado Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91107 and they are the best shop I've ever taken my car to! They're not far from this shop and will take much better care of you!Have a fantastic day! :)

These guys are great.��I first went to Gabriel s Automotive over 10 years ago on a friend s recommendation when my fuel pump died and the dealer was further than Triple-A would tow for free.��I ve been back pretty much every time I ve needed my car fixed since (stuff happens with a vehicle that is now pushing 20), from adjusting belts to a full transmission replacement.��And they ve been helpful and efficient every time with prices that put the dealerships to shame.��Talk to Mike.��Check them out.

Had my car towed to Gabriel's because I put regular gas in my diesel tank! Mike was able to drain the tank, filled full of diesel and I was able to drive 200 miles home without an incident. The shop is immaculate, they are a AAA approved station and I'm happy. Thanks Mike!

I am extremely thankful for Gabriel's Automotive. I was on the 210, noticed a flat tire and dropped by their shop. They put on my spare for free. They refused to take any money for their service. I was very impressed by their courteousness and thoughtfulness, and would certainly go back to them if my car needed repairs.

They were great! Was concerned about my steering and breaks. They checked them out and everything was fine and didnt charge me or try to sell me anything i didnt need. Very honest and friendly! I would definitely recommend them.

These people are honest and do great work. You can TRUST they will do a great job and only ask a FAIR price for parts and labor. No sneaky business. Ive gone to them several times now and will continue to do so because the experience has always been positive!

Their competency just might lead to repeat business. This is my first time working with Gabriel's Automotive. Excellent courtesy, communication skills and I am happy with the results of the tire replacement, alignment and balancing on my picky, touchy, OLD 280zx 2+2T. This is the THIRD shop I have tried to get this work done. They got it spot on! they also made good sound recommendations, and I know they are correct. I hope to establish a good long working relationship here...try them out! (...and I might just keep the car, too!~)Barbara

So, I am extremely concerned about people coming to this establishment with trusting these individuals with their cars. Gabriel's Automotive quoted me a price over the phone. They explained that it would cost me a certain amount for parts and labor. So, I said ok can you please work on my car for me. Because it was a Saturday they told me that the car would be in the shop till Monday. Monday morning I came to the shop, and they did not have good customer service. At the shop they wanted to charge me more than what they quoted me on the phone. After much discussion of how that was not the price he had said on the phone, he said that he would go ahead and charge me for the price he gave me over the phone. He then explained that there was a dent where my transmission was under my car, but he said "it's fine because it won t cause any issues, it s just a dent....." And he said it's SAFE and sent me on my way! Immediately afterwards my best friend who came with me said, "that was shady I feel like you should get a second opinion on your car. I almost feel like they might not have done the job right... " So, we took it to her mechanic immediately after getting my car "FIXED" who her family trust, and he told me that I had a major Transmission Leak and if I had continued to drive my car I would have blown the transmission and need to buy a new car entirely. He's currently working on my car right. I'm so angry that Gabriel's Automotive would have cost me my car becuse if i had listened to them and drove my car around the transmission would have blown and I would have had to buy a new car!!! They need to be taken off the certified list for AAA ASAP! I wish I could put 0 stars.....
