I have known Rob since 2008. He is an honest owner of foothill transmission. He just rebuilt my transmission as well as other items at a fair price. He stands by his customers and warranties his work. I recommend his business to anyone needing transmissions or associated repairs.Good work Rob. Merry Christmas

I can only agree with all the great reviews this place has. If I could I would give them 10 stars. Robert has great knowledge of what your car really needs, even class action lawsuits and recalls that can cover the repairs. Honest, helpful, kind, efficient don t hesitate bringing your car here. Best car repair in Pasadena. Thank you Hrant for recommending. You were also very kind and helpful.

Called to get a quote for a transmission flush and was told "We wouldn't be interested in doing that" because I only wanted to do a flush rather than get all the other work he tried to add on. First time I've heard that one.

Rob and Manny very honest, and are the best transmission guys in town. Their work is second to nobody. Customer service is excellent. I have had over 5 complete transmission jobs done on my cars over the years, done to perfection. Your car will be left with a true professionals who stand their work 100%.

Robert was extremely accommodating and helpful. I must have called 50 places looking for someone able to work on a classic car. Shockingly most shops turned me away as they either didn't have the ability to store the vehicle or were unable to work on a manual transmission. Rob had a positive attitude right out of the gate which was a welcome change of pace. Though he didn't have space available at the time, he told me that they would in the days to come and he was more than happy to take the car. After dealing with so many transmission shops in the SGV and getting turned away I was thrilled to find Foothill Transmission Service. They diagnosed the problem and fixed the issue without any BS. Rob and the guys at foothill transmission service have met and exceeded all expectations, I am more than comfortable giving them my endorsement.Service: Transmission

I only have good things to say about Foothill Transmission! After bringing my car in for a rear main seal replacement they took a look and let me know that the issue was something less severe and recommended a different fix. The fact that the place was mobbed was a good indication. The restaurant is in a shopping center which .made parking easy and the only negative was it was a bit cold so waiting outside, if necessary would have been uncomfortable. My brother and I waited about 20 minutes for a table and from there got very good service. He had Mexican Jambalaya which he said was very good and I had chile verde which was so very good. Unfortunately he is moving to Idaho, but when I sm in the area again it will definitely be high on my list of plzces to eat. A very nice experience!

Have a 2009 Infinity G37 sport sedan and Metro infinity was just doing a drain and fill and not draining the system that is recommended. Based on service tech the transmission the not flush it. I was even having the service done at 25,000 mile 5000 mile before the recommended service schedule. It failed and after the warranty expired and said it was not their fault it was $13900 just for transmission and a total of $15500 installed Was recommend by BOB body shop to Rob. Bob found me a used transmission with only 4000 miles on it and installed for a total of $5000 and have been going back ever since. He does the full system flush that was 60,000 miles ago. Great Guy

In 2005 I took a 1961 Buick here for a transmission rebuild. He also found the rear U-joint was bad, and the driveshaft was unbalanced, so he took care of those too. Everything went fine, I sold the car to a neighbor a few years later, and he's still driving it around today (2013). Price was reasonable. Physically it's a small parking lot, but the quality of the repair is great.

Foothill is a great place to bring your car for repair. Rob is a great guy who stands behind his repairs. He goes above and beyond to make sure the customer is satisfied. I'd highly recommend his shop for anyone looking to fix an older vehicle.

Rob is a nice guy, and It was a good referral that brought me to him when a newly purchased 70s mopar was having trouble. He quoted me almost $2,000 for a full trans rebuild. I took it to a friend and it turns out all I needed was a kickdown rod ($50). We broke open the trans and checked everything just in case, and it looked recently rebuilt with new clutch plates and no sign of wear. Maybe he just over looked the KD rod in my situation, but I almost paid for a trans rebuild that was completely unnecessary.

I highly recommend everyone to go to ROB he s nice guy I brought a transmission in for Honda he put it in works perfectly fine I paid 875 but it s worth it thanks rob for your service
