the people at this location are extremely nice and helpful. Forthcoming with information and if you don't need a service they don't recommend it. They explain what is going on with your car, let you know the best and safest thing to do and let you decide what to do with items that are not as consequential. which is part of the reason I find them trustworthy, this is my fifth time getting my car serviced with them. Trust is a big issue with car mechanics and I have full faith and trust in the techs at this shop they are professionals. remember they give you all the facts and let you decide. Easy process to set up an appointment. I get an email response and then a second email confirming the specific shop has granted my appt request. Always greeted with a friendly welcome and smile when I enter the premises. Each technician takes the time to inform me of the process and expected wait time. My last visit the process was completed in less than an hour. I feel very confident and trust the technicians working on my vehicle. Would highly recommend the Firestone in Pasadena to family and friends.

Chris was so amazing and helpful when we had car trouble on the way home to Phoenix. He made a stressful and scary situation way less stressful. He even helped up figure out how to Uber with a family of 6 and where the nearest hotel was. He called us the next day and made sure he gave us an update. We just really appreciate his kindness and wonderful customer service! Thank you Firestone!

The shop is honest. I came in cause my brakes was squeeling. They looked at it and and said there was just a bit of rust that needed to be cleaned. They told me my brakes were good for another year. I had them replace the front brakes anyway. Will be going to Firestone for all my car needs. Plus they got done in 2 hours. Great shop. Thank you.

Great guys. I was riding by on my electric unicycle and the battery just shot way down (must have been the cold weather). Anyway, I stopped in and asked if they would mind if I plugged in to get a bit of a charge. They said "no problem. There's a plug in the lounge or there's one back here".That's service. I just know they'd exhibit the same level of customer care if I was having my car worked on.Nice guys, thank you.

Store Manager Travis Grover and all the team were so helpful with a problem I've had for over a year the dealer service department (VW) could not figure out. This is the 2nd time Firestone has been able to help when the dealer (Toyota previously) could not. Saved me time and money! Really appreciate Pasadena Firestone!!

Went in for an oil change and the tech spilled oil all over my valve cover, into 2 spark plug wire wells, somehow on the washer pump, brake master cylinder, inner bodywork, even splashing some up onto the AC hoses and windshield drain.The Service Advisor was apologetic, and did as much as he could with degreaser and a couple rags. No offer to make it right in any other way. Got most mopped up before it dripped onto the manifold. Crossing my fingers.But the Tech didn't say anything, just wore this empty-headed grin. Can't tell if it meant he doesn't process shame, or if he enjoys getting away with screwing up some customer's cars.

I've noticed some dishonesty as to push customers to spend on services not required just yet! Both times I went, I was given two different lists of "needed service" to my car. Why wasn't it caught the first time around if "inspections" are supposedly done. TWO HUGE red flags were, a customer was upset that he was told his tires were going bald when replacement of tires weren't needed yet! I was also told my car battery failed the test? I asked what the failure was, and I was told "I don't know, maybe you need a new battery!" My car has been starting with no problems. I'm never going back there for service! Service can be shady there! Oh and both times I went, I left with deflated tires about 6 pounds of less air pressure! Talk about unsafe work habits for their customers!

Beware of price gouging. Got my brakes done and they still make noise. $800 to do the back brakes only is ridiculous. Oil change for $220 when they first charged $110 a year ago.

If you've been following my adventures here on Earth you might recall my epic Summer 2018 trip where I just packed the car and drove with the destination of California and no plans beyond that. Well after driving 1,700+ miles wanted to make sure the car was in tip top condition for all our safety and continued enjoyment. The crew at this Pasadena Firestone shop are pros and friendly. We got the oil change we needed plus they pointed out that we needed 4 new tires thank, GOD for his grace and traveling mercy. The service and installation allowed us to explore surrounding Pasadena on foot for an hour. Thanks to these unsung heroes of America, the ones up before 5am we were road ready in no time. Incredibly accommodating!!! Had to replace a tire which they needed it to order. I was traveling the same day so needed it ASAP. They were able to get the new tire in a a couple of hours and I installed quickly. Price is also reasonable. Will definitely come back for future tire needs.Service: TiresService: Tires

AVOID THIS LOCATION.Went in asking for a patch at 2:30 was told I wouldn't get it back until 7pm. Then was called at 3:45 and told that they could not patch and I needed to buy a new tire. I was also told that the other three should be replaced.Try any other location and you might not have this kind of encounter.*** Edited to add: Called Just Tires down the road and they patched it the same day in a half hour, no fraudulent up-sell attempts made.

Needed to get a brake job for a fleet van. This was the closest shop from my house so I decided to bring it here. The brakes never made any noises however when the van hit the 30,000 mile mark it displayed a diagnostic on the dash to service the brakes. Brought the van here where they performed a complete four brakes, brake job. After they got done with it the brakes made the loudest noise that sounded as if a train were braking from a fast rate of speed. I went back to the shop and they told me that the brakes needed time to settle in and that I should give it another 2-3 weeks to see if they still were screeching after that time frame. Sure enough they still were loud after several weeks. I brought the van back and left it for a day and when they called me to pick it up I arrived at the shop and they just handed me the keys. I asked them what the issue was out of curiosity and they failed to give me a valid explanation of what (if any) work was done. The brakes are still loud as ever and I guess they will stay that way until the next brake service diagnostic. It is very unpleasant driving a vehicle that sounds like that. Next time I will take my business to the Pep Boys that is located across the street from them since this Firestone location is unable to perform a successful brake job.Service: Brakes

I started going here after my last shop started to disappointment with their service. I've been happy with my ability to get in quickly with an appointment and I have knowledgeable people talk me through the issues of my vehicle. I also think the prices have been reasonable. The only issue I've had with this auto shop is that they will not install parts from other retailers. You have to buy all parts through them or they will not install them. That means you're stuck with whatever brands they have deals with and for me that just won't work all the time. Hopefully in the future though, allow other brands products to be installed.

The guy told me the nail in Brand new tire can t be fix. Go to another store get free flat tire fixed.

Came in for brakes...thought it was rear turned out to be front brakes and rotors needed to be removed and replace. In and out in a few hours. Staff was kind and courteous. Waiting area was clean with coffee and comedy shows playing. I'll be back.

I had requested a quote on new brakes. They quoted me about 1,200 total for new brakes and rotors. Went to another shop and it turns out I only needed two not the entire set. My partner also had his car checked for an inspection requested from one of his jobs and suddenly his car has a battery problem after the visit at Firestone. Previously had decent experiences but probably never going back again.

Complete trash location. Never rely on anything they tell you. Twice in a row, span of months, you get told something on the phone and something different in person, especially the wait times all of sudden triple in person than the b.s they tell you when you make an appointment. Low class location, was giving them business, there are tons others who respects their customers better than they do here. Never again. No apologies, no accountability.

The guys who works there were professional and courteous. I bought the tires from Tire Rack and delivered to this shop for the installation. The installation price is very reasonable.My gripe is about 2 things: 1. wheel alignement service (or lack thereof) and 2. TPMS sensor lightI dropped of my 8 bed truck and opted to get the lifetime wheel alignment service with my tire installation. In the afternoon right before I pick up the truck, I was told that the shop s equipment is inadequate to do an alignment service for such a long truck. Interesting. I would think a tire shop should and would have all the necessary equipments.Second issue is that my TPMS (tire pressure sensor) light was on when I started my truck. I asked the tech if everything is okay. He said yes and I just need to drive the truck around to get the sensor reset. I just thought that it would be a good service to make sure those kind of little things are taken care before a client picks up the vehicle.Anyway, I would actually still do my tire installation in this shop. No issue with the installation. And as I said, the guys were courteous.

I had my oil changed and tires rotated. I was called and told I had a nail in a tire and that it was not repairable. The price for a new tire was $260. I enquirer where the hole was and was told it was on the face of the tire. I was pretty sure that could be repaired from past experience. After saying it was too much it was mentioned I could get credit and if I shot some hoops I could get up to $75. What a crock I thought. I asked to have the spare tire put on, took the tire to be repaired in my neighborhood which cost $20. All trust in Firestone Pasadena has gone. I will discourage everyone I know from going there. On June 11 2022 I was traveling from Tracy ca to San Marcos ca. When I lost brakes on my Ram 1500 heading east bound on 210. Thanks to Adam and his team they diagnosed brake problems and was able to procure and replaced brakes parts and have me back on the road by 7:30 pm. There team were professional and did excellent work I would highly recommend any one traveling thru Pasadena in need of vehicle repairs to Call Adam and use his expertise. They differently turned a nightmare into a pleasant experience.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Brake service & repair

I love their lifetime alignment service. You pay a single fee for the duration that you own your vehicle. I've gotten my tires aligned here 4-5 times. They do a great job every time and if you have an appointment, it's a hassle free and quick transaction.
