I have been here 3 times in the past year for separate issues with my car, and each time I am impressed by their quality of work and how they are able to get to the root of the problem. They are very efficient and provide excellent customer service. I trust them with my car and highly recommend them.

I am so happy to have found this repair shop. As a female, it can be hard to feel comfortable around auto shops and every single time the employees treat me with respect and are friendly and timely. I've needed to bring in my car multiple times for different problems and the turn around has been most 2 days. Pricing is upfront. 10/10 would recommend for VW repair

These guys are amazing! I have a pretty new Mercedes GLC and needed a thermostat replacement. After getting quoted almost $2000 by Midas (which I knew was ridiculous) I came to Certified Auto Repair Specialist and they quoted me $800 all in, and not only that, but they used authentic Mercedes parts and provided a detailed cost sheet. They had the car ready within one day and left my car super clean and in great running order. Thanks for going the extra mile and making me feel so good about spending money on a repair! Lastly, everyone I spoke to was so kind, great communicators, and quite articulate. Highly recommend!

Allen was awesome with his accommodations. He also helped us meet a meeting to find a new place to live. He was also helpful on telling us how he was going to fix our car. Since moving to California, I have felt very fortunate to have found Allen and Edwin's Certified Auto Repair Specialist location. Over the past five years, my Toyota Matrix has been kept in excellent condition from their superb team. I highly recommend Allen and Edwin's shop for all of your car's repair needs.

I've been coming here for years. My husband found this place when he was tired of paying high prices at the dealership. I would recommend this shop to all my family and friends. They have never once pushed me to get extra services done and have always told me what's urgent and what can wait until next time. THAT is reason enough to come here, in my opinion. I'm never scared what they are going to tell me whenever I bring my car in. I'm super happy with their service!

I've been coming to Allen's and Edwin's shop for over 30 years, with over a dozen major repairs, one a complete engine replacement, and they are superb! They are both very nice guys, and the work is always done right, or they fix it for free with no arguments. They are very honest, and don't recommend unnecessary repairs. They've kept my Ford E-150 van working well since 2002, now 31 years! They are very popular, though, and you may need to wait an extra couple of hours for your work to get done when they're busy, but it's worth it.Services: Electrical repair, Tires, Auto battery replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Steering & suspension replacement, Auto A/C recharge, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair, Brakes, A/C installation & repair

I called to ask for an estimate and spoke with Edwin from Certified Auto Repair Specialist. My 2017 Cadillac Escalade ESV required the AC condenser to be repaired to get my air conditioner working again. The amount the dealership gave me was a lot more than I expected, so I called around to get some estimates. Edwin was knowledgeable and accommodating in discussing my car issues. He was also able to give me a quote half off than what the dealership quoted me. I was ready to bring my car to Certified Auto Repair, but the dealership said that they were able to extend the warranty on my car so I do not have to pay as much anymore. Long story short, based on my interaction with Edwin, I believe this shop is ethical, and I will definitely be going to their shop for future car concerns. Thank you, Edwin!

I brought my '99 4-Runner in for U-Joint replacement, and they discovered my entire drive shaft was broken! They quickly ordered the part from a Toyota dealership, and had the car fixed within a couple hours! I was referred to Certified Auto from a friend. I would drive to the Valley for auto work, because the guy in the Valley was honest an fair. I now have a honest and fare mechanic in Pasadena. They fix what I came in to get fixed. Not like the major chains, where they try to Upsale you!

After reading the great reviews that both Allen & Edwinn recieved I thought I would give Certified Auto Repair a shot. And I am very satisfied I did.Edwin's professionalism was exceptional. He was honest and explained all the suggested repairs and cost options to me with absolutely no pressure. He showed me the parts that had been removed and replaced strengthening the trust any consumer would want in their mechanic.The work performed was timely and his prices were extremely fair. And now my SUV is running just like new. I will definitely be returning for any repairs my vehicles may need in the future. Thanks again Edwin!!!

They test drove my car then brought it back and put it up on rack right away. Then the main guy took me out and showed me what was wrong safety wise and wrote out what would cost itemized. I told them go agead with the work. They started on it right away and was finished by 11AM next morning. Very quick I was very pleased. Allen and Edwin were very professional and nice. Good job guys!

Allen has taken care of my entire family s cars for about 15 years now and he has consistently been honest and extremely helpful about what we need and do not need. He always takes the extra time to make sure our concerns are addressed, his communication, transparency, and honesty go above and beyond what I have seen at other businesses like his. His thoroughness has been a source of peace throughout the years because we know the cars are always taken care of when we leave them there with him. Allen s team has also always been very kind and educational when I ask questions. This place is wonderful and I would suggest it to anyone.

Allen was incredibly professional and took time to explain and point out all needed repairs and services and was upfront about the costs. As a woman, mechanics haven't always communicated with me in the most professional manner ( e.g., choosing to speak with my husband or male friends as opposed to me about my car) so my interaction with Allen was a pleasant surprise. I came in for a pre purchase inspection. Allen was courteous, and thorough. He explained carefully what is and isn't tested and afterwards gave us a comprehensive run through including recommended repairs and how much he expected it would cost. Moreover, he asked us many questions about the buying process and gave us ample suggestions for how to negotiate and gave us advice to make sure we keep the seller honest and avoid buying a lemon. There was no pushing for us to come back once we have the car, but his professionalism makes him a front runner in my mind.

Allen & Edwin are very pleasant, professional folks to work with. They will tell you exactly what repairs are needed and the cost. You make the decision, without pressure, how to proceed. Their mechanics do quality work. They've taken very good care of our Mini Cooper.

I've been coming here for the last couple years and they've been very professional and knowledgeable in what they do. I just recently had my rotors and brake pads replaced and they ran it by me how my rotors were worn down and explained to me that it would be a good idea to replaced both rotors and brake pads at the same time. It was squeeking too much and I'm glad that I did.Service: Brakes

Amazing and friendly, I was so happy with my experience that I even left a tip because they treated me so well. They are honest and will show you everything their is that they are fixing, step by step. I will be going back when I need too! Highly, Highly recommend and the prices are right! I don t leave reviews very often but I felt the need to do because I was very happy with the work down

Alen and his team were very professional. They fixed a lot of things in my Kia, including the serpentine belt and brake pads, and gave me a reasonable price for it. Will definitely keep going here for any car maintenance.

I cannot speak more highly of this establishment. Fast, honest, and dependable. Clearly explains what's wrong and what needs to be done. Then shows you the parts, and tells you again why something didn't work. The customer service, and patience shown to those not mechanically inclined, is reason alone to use their services. When you include excellent work with value they hit it out of the park. Recommended them to my brother, and he is pleased as well. Give them a try-you won't be disappointed.

I have always been treated with honesty here. Pricing is fair and they always thoroughly explain as well as show me exactly what it is they need to fix. They also show me all the old parts and tell me in detail what they had to do. I've been coming here since 2017. Never had anything negative to say. They are always top notch.

Go Here Great Honest Place!I have been to many repair shops before and always had the feeling I was getting ripped off. I came here after seeing the other reviews and thought id give it a try. Thank god I did. They took me in quickly and without hesitation. After my oil change was done they took the time to not only explain to me about what was wrong with my car but also took me to see for myself. I gave them the go ahead and work was done faster than expected. Afterwards they told me to come back after a week to make sure everything was ok, WOW what dedication, I have never been asked by any other shop to do that before. Certified Auto you guys are my new and only mechanics from now on!!!!
