Went in for a quick oil change for my '06 Honda Odyssey. Waited a little bit, but they did the change in about 30 minutes.Plusses: open late after most places are closed. Nice people.Minuses: no waiting area, a little dirty in the back, cost $80, more than I was expecting to pay, since they didn't check and fill all fluids and tires. That is standard practice at most places.

Went there today for some me panic work. Henry helped me out and another technician was also very helpful. Thru worked on my Acura Tsx and got it sounding nice !Thanks guys.I've been there for tires many times, today was 1st and definitely not the last that I'll be going there. Super helpful and made sure I was good to go prior to leaving.

Picked up a mail this morning and luckily I was close to Al s. Drove there with a complete flat and they had it patched quickly and for a great price. Highly recommend this shop for your tire needs.

An auto emergency especially when traveling is NEVER good. We traveled to CA for the weekend and when gassing up the car to head home several hours away, hubby noticed a nail/screw in the tire. Yikes! It was a Sunday afternoon. I searched for a tire repair shop near me and this location came up 3 minutes away from where we were. Hallelujah!!! We headed there and, probably it was the owner, came over when we pulled up. He asked what we needed. Hubby told him. He said back up. He saw the nail, got his tools and repaired it in a flash. Can you say relieved, grateful and so thankful!!! He was professional and very personable. I highly recommend this business. He only charged $20. Of course we gave him a tip and was on our way in no time. I saved the search result to come back to leave a review. Thank you!Service: Tires

I had some body work done and the price was very affordable. The work was done very quickly. Jose is responsive. The tire shop on the right side does all kinds of auto service. Super affordable.

Went-in for new brakes; and, Jimmy failed at his job. Bolts were missing; and, my life was in danger. Tried to get my money back with lots of tun-around. Terrible! Toyota repaired all of the damage done. DON T GO THERE FOR BREAKS!

Almost got ripped off. Needed to replace a headlight bulb for which they were going to charge me $40. After watching a YouTube video, I did it myself in about one minute. If they overcharge for this, what else are they overcharging? Bulb not included, just the replacement for $40.

Nice and honest guy. My car seemed to had an issue with an airbag and also was suspicious of it having a coolant leak so I called early in the morning and made a visit in short notice but the guy was super cool and ran a quick diagnostic on my obd2 port. Also didn t bothered to go under my ride and check the leak. Fortunately there wasn t any leak and as far as airbags goes, he wasn t able to repair it so referred me to other shop. And all this service was free of charge.( I did tipped him :) ) any who in conclusion, was quick and transparent!

Al was great! Had a rental car with a leaking tire and he was able to patch the tire quickly (and did it by unmounting and patching from the inside). Very professional and a very nice guy. Thank you - you saved our vacation. Very appreciative.Service: TiresService: Tires

This shop messed up our homda crv don't work I payed 375 I can't get a refund ripped off took the car get fixed for oil leak and new belt thing they messedbup alternator steering pump won't fix it don't take your car here they ripped of they don't know what they doing

They are always eager to help. They are fast and their prices are attractive. I also find them 100% trustworthy. They told me several times not to worry about a small thing they fixed later while they could have easily made it a big deal.

Very affordable prices and service. Ideal for people with low budget or with old cars. I recommend, nice people. Service can be long sometimes as they get busy. Needed a wheel bearing changed. It was too much work to do myself. I brought the car in during the afternoon. The price was right and, despite being really busy, they had it done by the end of the day. The mechanic even pointed out another problem I was dealing with regarding the brake caliper rubbing against the rim and suggested an easy fix that I did myself.

Stay away from this place at all costs. I went there and no one wanted to help me. I finally walked into the garage after 10 minutes of standing in the pouring rain. The guy who was in charge was soooo unprofessional. He acted like he's the only mechanic in Pasadena, I walked off as soon as he opened his mouth. HORRIBLE PLACE!!!!!

Got a used tire from here. Fastest tire change I ve ever seen, tightened them well and inspected tire still. Quick and efficient and not a bad price at all. Highly suggest. They take card btw which was a lifesaver.Service: TiresService: Tires

Called ahead to make sure they had time for us. They asked all the right questions and told us to come in. They let us know there was a $65 diagnostic fee that is essentially a deposit. Basically, if you have them do the work, they apply it to the bill. If you have them do the diagnostic work but decide to walk, you gotta pay $65. Pretty reasonable.The car was stalling periodically so they ran it. They ran it on blocks with some gas. They took it out and drove it. They checked the fluids and topped them up. They cleaned the carbon buildup on all the parts of the fuel and exhaust system that could be contributing to the stalls. If nothing else, it's idling much smoother. When we picked up the car, they popped the hood, talked us through what they saw and where, and let us ask questions.What did all this cost us? Just the $65 diagnostic fee. I'm super happy. Great value, they were receptive to questions and talking is through what they saw. I'll be going back for sure.

This is a GREAT place. Came in with my 16' Acura. Changed oil. The guy gave me a rundown of the oil and was genuinely concerned, I had a different oil brand. He changed it and worked great. I appreciated his concern and learned a lil something more about car oil. I rather some 1 be concerned then not care at all. Only charged $35 for syn! Second, had ac checked and refilled great price and fast. Now my ac blows ice cubes and I get brain freeze. Lol. Great place. Will be my go 2.Services: Air conditioning, Oil change

Al's staff is competent, thorough and honest. The service people have always given my cars top-quality mechanical and body repairs, at about half the prices charged by the car dealerships I used to go to. Also, they've always had very good quality used tires at low prices.Al's is my go-to auto repair shop.

This place is a lifesaver for me and my 2 kids. Eduardo was closing up when I called with a flat tire. He stayed overtime for me and fixed my tire wi 20 minutes when I could've been stuck 45 minutes away from my house with my 2 kids. He also didn't try to take advantage of my predicament with audacious prices or overdiagnosis. He was honest, professional, courteous, quick, efficient and provided quality work with reasonable pricing. What more can you want from an auto shop?? I recommend him to anyone.Service: Tires

Have been here 3 times so far for replacement of my car's Radiator, break shoes, engine oil change, spark plug replacement and engine light ON issue. They diagnose very well, prices were fair and work was done quickly.

Wonderful guys that helped me out and gave a beyond fair price. I'll break it down for you.It's 11pm and my radiator lines blew on my Toyota dolphin. From another review I read, I found that I could message the business after hours and they responded within minutes. I was parked in a no overnight parking. They responded shortly after I messaged saying to bring it in and I could park it overnight in their lot. Already top notch. Mechanic got there at 8am, looked it over, replaced what needed to be replaced and I was on the road by 11. Fantastic! Anytime you're in Pasadena and need service, these are the guys to go to for sure. Thanks again!

Took my pickup truck to Al's Auto center for some exterior damage and engine problems. I only take my cars to this place in the Pasadena area I find their prices to be very fair and their work superior to the competition. They offer a great prices on tires, and work extremely fast. I give Al's Auto center five stars and can always visit their other location in Pasadena.

My first experience with Al's Auto Center was fantastic!! I don't know much about cars, even my own, so going to a mechanic tends to make me anxious, but Augustin was awesome and helped walk me through the whole experience.My 8 year old Honda Fit started making weird metal on metal noises a few weeks ago. This is my first car and since I couldn't identify the noise, I took it to a Honda dealership and asked them to look to make sure nothing was wrong. The service provider at the dealership called to tell me that my transmission was the issue and that it would be $4,400 to replace it!!! I only came in because there was a strange noise, my car was driving perfectly fine.Everyone suggested getting a second opinion, and after a quick google and reading a few reviews I called Al's Auto Center and asked about bringing my car in for them to check my transmission. I actually called Al's 3 times before I had the time to come in, and each time they answered the phone quickly and answered all of my questions. I called today and they said to bring my car around in an hour, so that is what I did.When I arrived at Al's Auto Center, I met Augustin. I explained what the dealership told me and told him about the noise. He asked if he could drive around the block with me to hear the noise. I drove him down a few streets and he said he heard the noise. However, he said he didn't think it was the transmission because the car was shifting without a problem. After explaining everything to me, he said he would lift up my car and take a look underneath.Once under my car, he showed me how my catalytic converter was what was rattling when my car idled, and showed me where my transmission was. I had never seen the underside of my car like that, and Augustin talked me through what I was looking at while explaining what he believed was making the noise. When he brought the car down, Augustin checked my transmission fluid and took the time to show me what the difference between new and used fluid looked like. Because of everything he showed me and the lack of information from the dealership, I feel pretty confident in Augustin's opinion.And in the end, Augustin recommended that I not worry about the noise until the car started to actually drive differently and to bring it by any time I was worried and they would check it again. I will certainly be happy to bring my car back here if it has any problems!

I've have only bought tires or had a flat fixed at Al's but I've been going there for a few years now. They have really good prices on tires and they're fast.
