They are the best! They are so gosh darn reasonable in their prices. They don't take advantage or scam you. I live in Fresno, so what does that tell you? There are so many shops here, so for me to take it all the way to Mendocino Auto, that says something. They are all so friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend them. Try then, you won't be disappointed.

Got my car out of impound here...they are the most professional,friendly men I have ever dealt with...as for the impound cost.......UNBELIEVABLE !!! couple hundred dollars less than I expected!!! Would recommend them to everyone!!!

Hello everyone I just have to say I feel beyond blessed to have found this place. They are the nicest people I ve come across from and they took care of me like I was family. Really made my day and took the stress off my shoulders I would definitely recommend them to everyone they even gave me a cheaper price then they had already quoted me because they didn t take so long after all which was only originally only going to be an hour and it ended up being less! Ask for Brain and Daniel but honestly overall all the staff was amazing even the front!

I ve been doing business with the people at Mendocino Auto Sales for many years. No matter the need may it be big or small they get it taken care of in a timely and professional manner. Staff is very friendly and informative. I am overall pleased with everything they have done for me to get back on the road. Will always highly recommend for sales and service.

Friendly, honest and professional staff. Very knowledgeable; technician took the time to explain the issue in great detail. By far better service experience than I get at the Subaru dealer or any dealer.

I felt that my experience at Mendocino Auto Sales was by far one of the friendliest,most comfortable and affordable place to go for car service. They are also timely efficient. My vehicle only took about 30 mins. for a smog. The staff is the most friendliest and it felt like i was among friends. I'm already looking forward to returning for more car service.

If your looking to smog your vehicle be sure it's ready to pass, because if it fails the test they'll still charge you full price. Also there customer service is very unprofessional, both in shop and in office and I don't think it would hurt them to clean up the junk yard lot they got going on outside.

I ve Recently took my car and they took care of the details Brian and Sandy were a great help! But really all the staff is great! Very Polite and ready to answer any of your questions, they have great prices and they do give you free smiles!!!.

Must say, not only do they take care of your mechanic needs but are professionals and always find a way of taking care of customers! I bring all my vehicles here to get serviced! It s like taking my babies to a Dr visit always leave knowing they were checked and maintained correctly!

Bad experience they charged me 1,000 was recommended by a friend was very disappointed by the service they didn t do anything to the car charged me 200 supposedly to turn off the check engine the first day that I got it back light turned back on and started to turn off again I took it back and they still wanted to charge me more at first they told me it was going to be 800 and that escalated to 1000 really quick anyways really dissatisfied with there service wouldn t recommend or wouldn t be back!!!!

Really good service..i highly recommend them to anyone doing car repairs..staff is friendly and have a nice clean waiting room while car is being repaired..i am 100%satisfied with the work they do...ima happy customer

If I could give half a star I would the only decent thing they did there was call me to let me know my vehicle was ready. We took our vehicle here for a steering fluid pump change which we brought our own parts and fluid but they fixed the leak there was. While they did tell me the vehicle would be done in an hour or 2... 3 or 4 hours later it was ready. After driving the vehicle over the next couple days me and my sons father noticed that after the vehicle would pass 1st or 2nd gear the engine would pull and rattle sound... something its never done before. So my sons father calls down and tells them what's going on. They tell him to bring it in. Okay fine we have another car not going to be too much of an inconvenience. Well 2 days later I get a call they looked at everything and it's going to cost over 700 dollars to fix the vehicle. So I'm thinking hmm im going to do some shopping around that's alot of money you know. Then she proceeds to tell me if I dont want to go ahead we can just pay the diagnostic fee of 75$ and come grab the vehicle. After letting my sons father know he calls and says hey I'm not sure why yall are charging me for checking something that wasnt there before, but started after the work we had done. So we talk things over I call family, talk to some places, and get things together well looks like maybe I will pay hey it's one of the only auto repair closest to me and if need be I can walk home. Well I call down and tell them you know what I can manage the expense to go ahead and fix it and I asked a couple more questions regarding when it would be fixed and the parts they are using and so on. Well after about 30 minutes I get another call from a man named Daniel ,who I'm assuming is in charge because I was told to ask for him when I asked who in charge, but he then proceeds to tell me they cannot unfortunately do the work and my vehicle is ready to be picked up so I'm thinking yup someone's feelings are hurt because we refused to pay the diagnostic fee and I picked up my vehicle. The people here are very unprofessional and honestly they are a bunch of a$&h!�@es. Because that man Daniel who called said my vehicle would be ready for pick up as soon as possible and when I get there its parked in front of another vehicle and they took like 30 minutes to get someone to finally move the other vehicle. So beware people out her to get over on others� I will not be back and I will not reccomend!! Btw for the young lady that attended me and my sons father if you are the new owner in charge then i suggests you train your workers better only thing fixed was the pump witch i paid but you guys cant fix the other issue you guys caused to My van nice one very unprofessional ........

If I could leave zero stars, I would. We took our truck in for a diagnosis. It runs great, just has a small noise with no check engine lights on. We were told we needed a whole new engine! We declined and took our truck home after paying the diagnostic fee. Once we got home, we realized the shop had removed our license plate frame and replaced it with theirs - advertising their shop without even asking. Not that big of a deal but also intrusive considering we didnt have any work done. 2 days later I find duplicate charges (not authorizations, actual charges) on our credit card. I would only take it here if you knew exactly what was wrong with your vehicle already and paid cash.

I have taken my vehicles to them for repair and smog and these people are friendly, helpful, courteous and most of all I find them to be VERY HONEST! I recommended them to a co-worker and she was so happy with her whole experience!

If I could give zero stars I would in a heartbeat. This is THE WORST place to get a car. I had problem after problem with my car after I bought it. DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE

Very friendly, helpful and my in-laws have been doing business with Mendocino since 2002 and never had a bad thing to say the owner was very respectful and always keep his word and thats what we look for is honesty and to be taken care of with no broken promises thats why my wife stayed with Mendocino Auto , thank you Mendocino for your great service

Every time I come here for a car repair. I drive away and there's still problems and I have to turn right back around. Three times this has happened. The first two where for the same problem. I only came back again because I broke down in front of there drive way. They say they treat drive it. There's no way that they did but I can't even make it a block away. :\ I hate this place
