Owner (I believe it was the owner) was super nice. Got us in the same day for a smog on a 1991 vehicle. They charged half the price the shop in Chico wanted to charge us not to mention a lot of shops don't even smog vehicles that old.

There was a miscommunication on pickup time of my car and I wasn't able to get it until the next day, which was indeed frustrating; but the fact he owned up to his mistake, was so apologetic and such a kind guy, I was EXTREMELY impressed. taking ownership of a mistake shows honestly and integrity you don't see often. Plus, he did a great job on my car! I will confidently return whenever the need arises.Service: Auto maintenance

I was stuck. In the middle of nowhere. Not only in a vehicle, but while towing an RV myself.Will appeared out of nowhere and yanked me up hill and through the snow and got me out of the mess.He did it along with a smile and laugh and made me feel better about getting back on the road and on with my trip.Sinclair saved me!

Went in for a smog but they were busy, set me up for an appt later that day, went back and it was done in 20 minutes. Good price, friendly service. I paid attention to other customers and they all seemed happy and it seemed like good honest work going on there.

Went in for an oil change 3 weeks ago, Tom seemed nice enough and I expected a good, quick, affordable service based on local recommendations and Google reviews. Sadly, this wasn t the case. $256 later, and two filters I didn t ask for, I drove home disappointed and disillusioned. I can t understand why on earth it would cost that much for a simple oil change. I should have spoken up at the time, but I did not. Yes, I m not from the ridge and have Virginia plates. Does that mean I received non-local pricing? Who knows but that s the only thing that makes sense to me. I wanted to warn others who may consider using Sinclair s especially if you aren t from Paradise. My hope is Tom sees this review, reaches out and we can have a conversation about the reason(s) behind this particular ripoff on the ridge.

Best shop on the ridge! Owner is awesome and the mechanics as well. Skilled group of talent here and they always get the job done right and fast! Even if i move out of town ill always bring my vehicles here for any work or smog tests. Thanks Tom!

I've been going to Sinclair's Automotive for years and they are very fair and honest. They repair and fix what's wrong with your vehicle and at a very responsible price. Ant the people who work there are awesome and friendly.

I'll say this about Sinclair's auto Paradise.When my lady goes in and describes a sound they don't take advantage of that! And that's why their my number one in Paradise CA.Plus on my 04 Sierra 4x4 they've done a complete transmission swap, smog, and much other various work. Quick turnaround, quality parts, curtious service. And pricing.

Dave is spot on at diagnosing problems, AND he always is upfront and honest about different ways to resolve it. He also let's you know the least expensive options. I am very happy with Sinclair s towing service. Dave came and moved our 10 x 10 Playhouse which was not an easy feat. It was on a hill next to water pipe but he maneuvered it up onto the truck and I was so thankful he did not give up. We were moving the next day and if I was not able to find a way to move the building it would ve had to stay which would ve been very sad for sentimental reasons.Excellent people! Thank you

They fixed my car for a reasonable price after another mechanic in town had put it together with broken pieces. They are caring, compassionate and they finish the job in a timely manner I would highly recommend Sinclair's to anyone with motor vehicle issues in the area!

For years my family has brought their vehicles to Sinclair's great service friendly atmosphere .Now I'm thrilled to be part of the team! Come check us out and remember winters here its important to have your vehicle running at it's best. Battery, brakes,windshield wipers will be much needed.

Super honest mechanics. I had my repair work done here before being displaced by the Camp Fire. After being displaced I still drove up from Yuba City, and now Chico. The work is always done correctly, and in a timely manner and I know they aren't going to tell me something needs done unless it really needs to be done.

The women that works there is horrible. She lies and plays games so your vehicle will be there longer or you cant afford to get it out. She will waste your time and money. Shes rude shes a lier and she pretty fake. All the other people were nice and helpful. They went out of there way to help. The lady needs to go. I would give it 5 stars but the women brought it down to a 1. That's how bad she handles her bussiness

Several issues with this place. Woman wears a headset yet says "was eating" as to why she couldn't answer the phone. Second time it took 2 days for thrm to pick up. BS excuses why they wouldn't do a follow up smog. They don't care since they're the only ones around now.

I called the owner the previous day to ask if I could get my amp out of my totaled vehicle that was towed. She told me I couldn't grab anything that was bolted down I said ok, I went to the shop the next day first to grab the keys where everyone seemed friendly ,and I told them I needed to grab my subwoofer (not bolted) and a couple other personal items and take photos of the damage. The friendly people in the office gave me the OK to go to the yard to do this. As soon as I got to the vehicle the owner came running at me and my boyfriend yelling "I TOLD YOU, THAT YOU COULDN'T GRAB ANYTHING THAT WAS BOLTED DOWN" very, very aggressively. I told her we were here for my personal items. She wouldn't let me near my vehicle that I own and had my title ready to show her. My boyfriend lost his temper a little after she threatened to call the cops. He cussed at her and told her to call the cops. She called the cops. Meanwhile I had contusions and cuts all over my head because I was the one in the accident.The cops came and talked with both parties and understood where I was coming from. At this point I was crying hysterically, being injured from the accident and losing my car and being told I couldn't even grab items from it. The cop sided with us and let us grab what we needed and I gave her they key. I tried calling her back multiple times to talk about it instead of writing a review and she yelled and hung up on me.Overall, I can't believe the aggressiveness she came at us with when with all the trauma we've been through the last days. Having to go to the ER for injuries, etc. We were treated like complete criminals off the bat and didn't even give us a second to explain ourselves.Everyone else at the company seemed completely nice.

My Airconditioner just would not work. I worked with Tom for a lot of hours and he got it going properly and it has worked well for 2 years now.He definitely is concientious, and fair...., I have now changed my mind***************************************** see an updateJust to show you something else: The same car was acting up again. Air sensor this time. I again took it to Tom Sinclair after making an appointment a week ahead. and, sending an email with what may be wrong..... Left the car there, in running condition //. 6 hrs later I called to see how all went "We cannot start car" we tried for 2 hours and cannot start it.... why no phone call ??? no answer. The shop manager could care less. They had lots of other vehicles to work on. I promptly told them to tow it to Jims auto, across town.... and all I will pay for is the tow.Forget my former nice remarks, this company is out of control. Do not take your work to them, as I did and I got crapped on..

They rebuilt a car engine and it needed to be taken back a few times, but they were very professional about it and didn't charge for additional labor.

The only shop in paradise I'll take my truck to. I've been to plenty up here, there are some good shops, but sinclairs is always honest, they treat you like an equal, no down talking and explain the issue in a way that someone with little to no automotive experience can understand.

These guys rock. I had battery issues this morning at work. I was able to get my car jumped and drove up to Paradise. They are fixing the problem even though they are super busy!!! I so appreciate their service!!!

I called this morning to have my car towed down to paradise transmission...price was very reasonable and the employees I spoke with were very friendly and helpful!!! Definitely will use them again if I need to!!!

0 they get a zero from my family. The lady answering the phone and behind the counter should NOT be allowed to deal with customers! She was rude even making a mock about my brother in law whom was in ICU at the time. Horrible never go there!
