Ara and his team are AWESOME! They fixed my 2013 Chevy Volt (a plug-in hybrid car) for half the price quoted by dealer, and the car is running better than ever before! Having a great auto mechanic is like having a great doctor and I'm so grateful that I finally found an honest, straightforward mechanic! They are a one-stop shop too...full service repairs, smog, tires! I highly recommend Hart Motors for your auto care needs!

Wow! Wow! Wow! Ara at Hart Motors has impressed me and I'm now an excited fan. My four vehicles will now be cared for by the knowledgeable and capable staff of this totally equipped repair facility. Folks, this truly IS the Trustworthy 'One-Stop-Integrity-Shop' you've been looking for. I have both an automotive and engineering background and have repaired/refurbished everything my entire life. I've sought for a 'Professional Center' such as this for many years in the North East San Fernando Valley without success. No nonsense and straight to the point diagnosis and repair recommendations from the team. Ara Hartoonian has been in business for a very long time and I've been using him for over 20 years, so he's definitely doing something right to maintain longevity. Always took care of my cars and would give advice the dealers would never give you because they don't want to divulge "industry secrets." You defintely save when you use independent shops and get personalized treatment. My working van had a check engine light on in the middle of busy time. I checked it with my OBD 2 scanner and have the related issues released. Ordered a part and started to look someone for help. Around the area there's no such a mechanic that could compete with this guy with knowledge, attitude, experience and flexibility to do, what the customer needs. Compared with others, he estimated 2x to 3 times less and reasonable price with very limited time to do it than others have estimated. I want to express my appreciation to Ara for his clean and ethical job, which is very rare in LA. He's taking serious for his business. I'm going to use him for future issues and will recommend anyone to give a shot and find a real mechanic.Service: Engine repair

Overall great experience, Ara was very nice and very thorough with his inspections. He communicated the problems and how long it would take to fix it. I felt like my car was in great hands. Dry caring shop. Needed a smog check - my normal shop couldn t fix. Been here beforeThey found the issues and I passed. Since I would need to leave the car over night they gave me a ride home. They are AAA rated and receive a discount. Would definitely go backService: Vehicle safety inspection

I went to Hart Motors to Fix my Headlight.They inspected the car and told me my rear light was also not working.Costed me around 90 $ for fixing both rear and front lights.Owner was very nice , asked me about the car and gave me some tips as well.Would definitely come again if I need anything done

I took my car in with a clicking noise in my differential every time I would back up. I had an extended warranty plan and took it in for repairs. It turned out to be a very difficult problem to diagnose and the owner had great difficulty getting my warranty company to ok the repairs. He finally figured out the problem, showed proof of the problem to the warranty company, and it was finally fixed. After several months, my car still drives like new. I am very happy with the results and the kindness the owner showed me. The location is very clean and kept my car clean as well, nice!Services: Engine repair, Transmission repair

MY Audi's gas tank was stuck and could nt open. Hart motors was close by so drove there. Ara was extremely helpful and took his time to explain me the issue and how to resolve it properly.Like others shops, he did nt charge a penny until he does work and is very honest about his work. I was referred to Hart Motors through AAA and I can honestly say this is a very trustworthy auto shop. Ara has always helped me out with my car and at affordable prices. I recently got my brakes done but was not happy with the service due to still hearing noises and they fixed it completely and with no charge of course. Ara Hartoonian and his crew at Hart Motors have serviced our 3 cars for many years now. They are AAA approved, not all shops are, and that is why we initially went there after some bad luck elsewhere. We have continued on with them as our go-to shop ever since. Ara is reliable, practical, and honest. Beyond the specific job being done at the time, he always checks the car over in general. This practice has alerted us to a few bigger problems he saw as potentially coming up later on and as something to watch and avoid, ahead of time. Ara has saved us a lot of money and trouble in the long run. He s straight up and not pushy. Going that extra mile is something many auto shops just don t do anymore. Much appreciated. With Hart Motors we know our cars will continue to be dependable and safe. This is the second time I've used Hart Motors for my car (2 separate issues) and I don't think I will be going anywhere else for car trouble. They are always pretty quick with the repairs at a fair price. They are always honest and transparent with what is needed to be repaired

I m always afraid of trying new mechanics. This time I had a very positive experience. I had a low coolant warning light while driving back home from Vegas and this was also after having my coolant system replaced by another mechanic. Because of COVID, I don t have to drive as much, so I sat on it for a while out of fear of being taken advantage of by another mechanic. I finally decided after the new year to get it fixed. Did a search and found Hart. Ara was very friendly and happy. He called me pretty quick to let me know what they found and the cost. And then, my car was ready the next day! I was expecting to wait weeks like the last mechanic. But it was ready one day later. And this is the coolant system on a BMW! I pick up my car. Very good pricing for coolant system repair on a BMW. I start driving it and it feels awesome! They did such a great job. I m very happy with it.

Hart Motors is a great place to take your car. Ara, the Owner really knows cars. So Does Rene who has been with Ara for many years. They are trustworthy and knowledgeable and will clearly explain to you what is needed. I have been going to them for over 25 years. I would trust them with any car I have. You should do the same

This is the best place to get your car serviced. Mr. Ara really knows how to take care of his customers. I gave them a list of things to fix on my car at like 8 am that morning and they were done by the end of the day! I highly recommend them to everybody! Ara takes good care of your car that will give you peace of mind that you know you are safe to drive again. He will suggests what's good for the car and what will benefit the customers well being. He takes time to do the job instead of rushing to finish it. He will help you save money by giving you reasonable price for their service and discounts if you're triple aaa member. He has a "drop off/pick up service" so no time will be wasted. He will educate you about your car so you understand what to do and not what to do w your car. Mostly, anytime you call and need service for your car, his shop has always time. No need for appt so it makes convenient for me. Above, he is very professional and treats his customers w respect.
