This place it s the worst place to take your vehicle for any service . Also Very POOR customer service.I was trying to get an vehicle brake estimate for my vehicle and the mechanic started telling me. You have to paid for estimated for checking the brakes. With attitude.Just imagine if you have any issues with this mechanic jobs how he will reactBecause he has an attitudeGood luck you you decide it to take your vehicle here for any services Great Customer

AVOID!!! I took my car for an alternator, after $700 all the lights turned on, the car turns off when I brake and the speedometer doesn t work. After several calls and visits to the mechanic he first tells me it s the throttle body and it ll be $1,100 to replace, on another visit he said it s the transmission. He then made up excuses saying my car is salvage - which it s NOT, I drove it far - which I did NOT! Total rip-off and unprofessional. Totally ruined my car!!

I highly recommend! They have been servicing my vehicle for about two years now. They truly cater to the customers, and go above and beyond. They have even opened shop a little earlier then their business hours to accommodate me. Professional, knowledgeable, and friendly staff. Friendly staff, reasonable price. They are always up-front with everything.UPDATE: Feb, 2022: They have a small shop, but well managed. Staff is well spoken and friendly. I never had trouble communicating to them in English. I recently took my work car to them for a repair. Their price is reasonable, and will give you and show you as much of your cars issue you want to see for yourself BEFORE you do the repair, and if you want to, they will show their work after the repair also if it is possible to visually see the completed work/repair. They gave me a proper estimate, then later an invoice. They can take electronic payments also (venmo, google-pay, apple-pay...etc.) if that is your preference.

It s a friendly place and I feel confident in coming here by myself. My car has never had any problems after a repair or maintenance check. They have helped out a lot and are great in telling me what s wrong with my car when I have experienced trouble with it. If you are in need of a mechanic, you've just found your person!I have been coming to Active Auto for years and have NEVER been overcharged or up-sold or waited for days for the work to be done...all of the issues one typically runs into with auto work. Eddie knows what he is doing, is super fast and totally upfront with pricing, and the shop is totally accommodating for my weird schedule (I'll often run in and hope there's time for an oil change- and 9times out of 10 there is!).Active Auto treats you like family- family that everyone gets along with and wants to see at holidays!!I've referred friends to Active, and their experience has been just as positive as mine.This shop is the real deal: honest, professional, reasonably priced, and expert (Eddie has done both big and little repairs for me and everything is always done right!).

Very nice people I felt very comfortable customer service great I was really scared of price I had a oil leakage I m on a fixed income and often have to drive to la to dr mechanic was very understanding n caring.. didn t charge anything for diagnosing great!

I finally took my truck in to check the engine light, since it had been driving normal I didn't think to much of it. But the tags were due and I knew I had to fix it before then. I thought it was going to be an expensive fix but all it needed was a sensor replaced under $100. So happy the engine light is gone I was scared it was going to be expensive. Eddie was great, he took the time to explain to me what was going on with my car definitely will be back.

My car was making a grinding noise everytime I steer the wheel so I took it to this place, the guy at the shop took a look under my car with the machine and told me the issue was some part underneath the engine that would cost $1,300 to repair! I took my business somewhere else and it turned out all I needed was a pair of new rear breaks which cost me 300 to replace, problem fixed. AVOID this place.

This review is for G1 test only which is next to Active Auto Repair. Grigor is very professional and knowledgeable. Very convenient to get a smog check and registration renewed at the same time! If you need smog or registration services this is the place to go.

I had a check engine light on and needed it gone for my smog test. Active Auto correctly diagnosed the problem and got the part I needed the next day to get it fixed. I highly recommend them and will be going back there. It helps that they're handy to where I work.

Great service- saved me a lot of money when he checked a car I thought was good to buy but he found transmission problems.Again today Active Auto provided fast courteous service, this time with an electrical problem in my car door.
