Highly recommend.. I recently purchased a used vehicle to use for work so I don't have to put a ton of miles or risk damaging my other cars and to get the title changed to my name I had to get a smog check I stopped by met the owner super friendly and helpful I was in and out in about 15-20 mins no issues at all if your in the area I definitely recommend stopping by you won't be disappointed..

I've known this guy for years and he's very friendly. Look no where else to get your Smog test done. Whether it is a fairly new car or an old model he will be honest with you. Repairs are available at a decent price. Good at his job, you'll be in and out of there at a timely manner.

The dash light came on my RAV4 Toyota a few years ago after the last smog check and the. total answer to my problem with my evaporative system was remedied by my taking my car in and leaving it for a few days in Joe's capable hands. Joe is very personable and knowledgeable. The replacement part was pricey but Joe's diagnosis was right on. He knew that I was a bit tormented by this problem so he put $10.00 worth of gas into my car and actually took the time to drive my car something like 78 miles to make sure that the canister in the evaporations system was the only problem and that there was no further damage. Joe is very honest and I am impressed by the lengths he has gone to do the correct job! I highly recommend A1 Smog Check and Repair without reservation.

I called ahead to see if someone would be there as it was around lunchtime. I was asked to wait about a half hour. When I arrived I was taken right away, and finished within 15 minutes. Service was very friendly, technician even recognized me from my last visit! Highly recommended!

A very honest place. My truck had failed at a different, Test Only Station. Joe warmed up the truck prior to running the test and it actually passed. They still performed a diagnosis because from the prior failure emissions results he thought there could be a bad O2 sensor or a leak in the manifold, perhaps a bad gasket.Turns out there was a very long crack in the manifold.He quoted me a reasonable price so I opted for the repair despite the vehicle already passing smog. I knew that a cracked manifold would rob me of power.Bing Bang Boom the truck is fixed and does feel like it's running even better than before.I'm definitely coming back here for any other vehicle Smog testing I need in the future.

Joe is the best. Smog are always such a pain to have to take care of but this place makes it a little easier to handle. Joe has a great attitude and is always smiling.Definitely recommend this place.

Friendly, quick and reasonable. This little strip of auto repair is great. The neighboring repair guy came ove to chat since they were finishing up another smog. Recomend to anyone.

I had to get my car smog checked at a STAR certified location, so I called A1 and they told me to bring it right in. I showed up and was in and out in less than 20 minutes! Quick and easy.

Found this STAR smog on Google Maps, convenient to my home, but mostly was so pleased with service - friendly, explanatory, fast work in "early morning" before the heat really set in. Small business, not easy to find, but well worth the effort in great efficient service !

Was on the phone to see how much it would be to fix a fuel/air intake and they say they gotta do diagnostic first which starts at 80 but after that they find the problem it could be small or big but it will be more. Hahah no thank ill look elsewhere.
