This gas station feels very safe, even at night. When I pulled up I couldn t get my gas cap to open for some reason. The store clerk saw me struggling and looking nervous and came out to help me. He was super nice and I m grateful for his hospitality.

Absolutely stellar service. I took a vehicle here for a pre purchase inspection and it was a really, really good experience. When they finished up, they sent me a link to a site that show pictures of all the aspects of the car that they inspected, with analysis broken down by the immediacy of the issue. When I returned, Ravi very patiently walked me and my girlfriend through the issues they found and gave an honest opinion on what it would cost to repair, as well as whether or not he thought the deal I had in front of me was fair, overall. Great shop; highly recommend.

Had a strange experience here recently... I've dropped off some wheels/tires to get mounted and - as usual it was convenient (can pick up anytime) and done quickly. They even helped me to load wheels in the back of my minivan. So far so good. Then - after about a month of sitting inside minivan I took them out and noticed that out of four wheels - three had missing balance weights - they fell down on the carpet. I took them back and again people were nice and helpful. Then I get a call from their service manager (contact me for name if interested) asking me to come in to so that he can show me that weights are installed properly. I said that I will pick them up after hours but he was insistent on me coming in person. I got a little suspicious and started probing on why and his response - in a nutshell - was that he wants to have me see the wheels because he is not going to rebalance them if weights fall off again. I was a little shocked at that attitude - he should be more worried about me having to come back because the work they did failed - rather than worried about having to redo work in the future. When asked he said that they provide no warranty on wheel installation/balancing - which again was strange. I hope he was having a bad day rather than this being a routine situation. Giving them two stars since they were mostly helpful and appear to have done work properly the second time.

Bad Service, seems like the main cashier does not want to do this kind of job, so is not helpful and will pretend not to be able to hear you even when you say hi or hello. Otherwise, the place is clean. Don t go fill of the card reading network is down because of the cashier.

(This is my first review i have ever written and it is only because it was that horrible.) Worst business and more so customer service I have ever dealt with. I called to set an appointment for my oil leak for 11 on Monday. When i show up on Monday they say they have no record of me at all. From the get go very rude staff and about half an hour they finally decide to take me. $90 for an inspection even though I told them exactly what the problem was, and they told me it would be finished by the next day. The next day i call just to find out the status of my car, because at the time i have no means of transportation. Tells me they don't know where its leaking from even though they had a whole day and i told them where its coming from. All i wanted was his best guess as to how long it would take so i can plan. He catches a huge attitude and just tells me its going to take awhile, and then believe it or not in the middle of the discussion he literally pretends that the call is breaking up! Just to hang up on me! I immediately call back and he yells and says "If you want to pick up your car,then come get it" and hangs up. That is the service MANAGER folks. When i dropped it off i had no lights on at all, when i came to pick it up it had a blinking check engine light! This is my first review i have ever written and it is only because it was that horrible. Do not take your car here!

I took my two old cars (2000 Volvo and 1995 Camaro) there for repairs.I was always treated very well, the estimates were accurate and work performed well and on time.I recommend (sorry, I cannot recall the name of the owner, a wonderful Pakistani gentleman) the garage to anyone with any car and car problem.

I had a terrible experience with the auto repair shop. In short, everything the average joe fears about an auto repair shop is true about the scammers at Palo Alto Shell.I came in for a smog check and after 30 minutes, I was told that: (1) my car failed because the check engine light was on; (2) that they knew it would fail because if the check engine light is on the inspection always fails; (3) they did not bother to inform me before the check because it is not their responsibility; and (4) they would be happy to do a $110 diagnostic followed by work, and comp the cost of the smog check.When I asked why they did not tell me when seeing the light, they said they are a business and they would be out of business if they told everyone. I said I was a repeat customer (I had been there before for work), and the manager, Kyle, explicitly said that he did not value my business and he's not in this business to take care of customers.In fact, I did not need the $110 diagnostic. I went to 9-minute lube down the street (very reliable and friendly team) and they checked the computer diagnostic for free and fixed the simple problem of low coolant, for free as well.Kyle was very rude, telling me that it's my fault for not knowing how smog checks work and that I needed to educate myself, and that it was not his responsibility. I said that is true, but as a courtesy to customers, they could save them time and money, and through good business practices, build loyalty. He said he didn't need my business. I'm not sure if it was a personal attack or not, but his tone and demeanor was condescending and rude.For any service, I would rather push my car down the street than go back to Palo Alto Shell, if for free. I don't need that kind of treatment.

Came across a very rude man who was the cashier. I wish I had gotten his name but he was too busy quarreling with me and my boyfriend. Also, do NOT use your debit card at the pumps. It will put a $75 hold on your funds and then not even allow you to pump the gas. We ran our card twice thinking something was wrong, never got the gas (it just wouldn't work??) and ended up with 2 $75 holds in our acct. Why? We just avoid this station all together.

Friendly fast service! I would definitely recommend this place for smog tests, alignments, tires, and any general issues with your car. They are really knowledgeable on working on your car.

Not very honest. Be careful. I had my belts changed. They did not tighten the belts correctly, did not have the proper parts and my car over heated. Too many probems AFTER they touched my car

Great service, good pricing and not least very trustworthy. I had my Volvo fixed there twice - they were 35 pct below Volvo and used same parts.

Worst gas station in the world. Even after filling gas he didn t give access to restroom. Worst cashier/owner.

Terrible service. They are not honest on their diagnostics. I took my car to this workshop and was told my car had multiple problems I needed to fix right away. I went for a second opinion and took my car to the dealer for a full check up and was told I had only one of the problems, the other 2 or 3 issues were not true.

Replaced and aligned my tires. Service was quick and the option to pick up the vehicle at anytime is really convenient.

Clean gas station, friendly service...every detail immaculately maintained, including clean window cleaning fluid and squeegees along with paper towels...left with clean windows to go with my full tank of gas.

Stop by the shop with car to fix ask them to diagnose the problem first they didn t want to do it they said that starter is gone quote me for $440 , i went to different shop the problem was $20 , I won t be coming back there ever poor customer service.
