My car is fixed, but not by these guys.I made an appointment at this place because this business is a recommended auto repair by FIXD. I already had the Diagnostic code of P0303 and P0302.We left the car at Meissner. 2 hours later, we got a call from Scott. They couldn't come up with a diagnostic problem. He would have to pull everything out to really see what the problem really was. It was estimated to cost $2500 to $4000 to fix. He topped it off with oil because the oil level was 3/4 low. It cost $209 for no solution. Thank you. I will not recommend this place to anyone. FIXD, I recommend you check before recommending this business as an approved mechanic for repairs.The next day, I called the mobile repair guy. All the codes had been erased from my car. He manually removed the spark plugs, "very bad,"he said. Took out the air filter, "very dirty, very bad". He changed those with brand new ones. Topped off the power steering fluid. Car runs smooth $120 plus $90 parts. Do the math, where did I waste money?

Kurt and Scott had the ultimate patience and commitment to quality. During the torrential rains in early 2023, my 335i was swallowed by a lane-wide pothole. My suspension and steering had no chance.My once stellar insurance company, stalled, low balled, and flat out ignored requests from both Meissner and me. Shady suggestions like AutoZone parts are direct replacements for BMW M parts and such. It took 4 rounds of escalations and 10 months to get the car back whole.Meissner had my back the whole time. I doubt most shops would have had the patience to wait it out. I highly recommend them.

Took my Jeep in to get some shocks replaced (3rd time i've used Meissner for work). They found a fault with the car with resulted in a broken weld which meant I had to take it to a Jeep dealer to get a specialist to review it. Hard at first to know who was at 'fault' but it turns out no fault of Meissner. The owner was good enough to call me back to check if everything was ok and gave me a refund for the work they did do. I really appreciate that as an independent workshop they were willing to make good and hence why I would use them again and continue to recommend them. I have been a customer of Meissner since 2008. Kurt and his team do amazing job. I really like their honest assessment of the issues and their excellent work in fixing the issues every time I got my cars serviced. Thanks for your response. I am happy with the service I received from your team. I rated 4 stars instead of 5 stars because I am a little confused by what Scott told me when I picked up my car. He said that my car was pulling to the right even after they corrected the alignment. He said this means the tires need to be replaced. Problem is, as far as I can tell, my car doesn't pull to the right. At full freeway speeds, I can release the steering wheel for several seconds and the car steers perfectly straight- no pulling either way. There is plenty of tread left too. So why do I need new tires?Service: Wheel alignment

One of the best customer service experiences I have had ever. Scott has helped me with my car a couple times now and was straightforward, informative, and respectful. These have been my first times taking my car to a mechanic alone and I was worried that it would be a frustrating process, especially as a young woman who doesn t know much about cars. The pricing was very transparent and reasonable. I wasn t charged for anything until the work was actually completed (we had to wait for a part). An airbag warning light went on in my car after returning from Tahoe. Meissner saw me quickly and diagnosed the problem as a poor sensor connection inside a door. It was fixed well and no problems since. No five-star rating for being a bit expensive, but maybe they just use a guideline based on what the problem is.Service: Electrical repairService: Electrical repair

You cannot go wrong taking your car at Meissner. I have been bringing my vehicle at Meissner for almost two decades now. I moved to San Francisco but still take my car at Meissner- its worth the drive as I trust their work and Kurt and Scott and the shop mechanics too - thank you for your excellent service and accommodation to meet my schedule needs..

I just moved to the South Bay in January 2022. Finding a new & trusted mechanic is usually a hard task. I lucked out with Meisner. Great website, easy to make an appointment. Very professional, affordable and competent mechanics here. I had a great experience. My check engine light was on in my 03 Tacoma. Meissner had me back in action over the weekend. This is hands down one of the best automotive places that I have brought my car to. My experiences with Kurt, Scott and each of the people here is superior. I can expect consistent delivery of high quality service of my vehicle. I had the most interactions with Kurt and I found him to be professional, honest, and knowledgeable. Kurt and the whole team at Meissner Automotive are as good as they come. I used to dread taking my car to the mechanic because, as a young woman, I've had many people speak down to me or try and make me do unnecessary repairs. This was never once the case at Meissner. Kurt is extremely trustworthy and came through for me many times. I moved out of the area and I'm honestly not sure if I can ever find another place as great as Meissner! I'm very grateful to Kurt and his team for all their hard work and commitment to keeping their customers safe in their vehicles. Meissner Automotive is the best! Got a very fair quote for the work that I needed on my Toyota Sienna. They completed the work on time and did such a good job that I brought my Mazda in the next day. Both my cars are running great now. Great communication, every step of the way, from Kurt and Kevin. I will look no further, I will bring my cars to Meissner from now on.

Meissner is a wonderful automotive repair shop, it is a pleasure to work with the team there. It was recommended by a neighbor to me, and I have since recommended them to several others for their friendliness, integrity, timeliness and quality of service. They tell you like it is and get the job done. Was looking for a place to do a pre purchase inspection done while out of purchasing a car ok it of state. The dealership I was working with w was a being difficult and everytime I called Meissner Auto I was greeted by friendly staff and Scott w was a completely understanding. I didn't end up in purchasing the vehicle but just interacting with Meissner Auto was a great experience. If you're looking for a place for friendly service this is your place!

Excellent communication. Mechanics are very thorough. Checked everything when I brought my car in with an exhaust problem. Fixed the problem and fixed areas that I didn't know needed attention. I drive from Redwood City to Meissner Automotive because they're excellent and trustworthy.
