Recently I randomly looked up a local repair shop because I moved to the AV. I was weary about finding a trustworthy repairshop. After reading a few reviews about Carlax I decided I would take a chance. I was not disappointed. Bruce the Repair Tech was very knowledgeable and his staff was very professional. I took a Dodge Ram SRT10 with a unique engine. They had no problem identifying the problem (overheating) and they were able to find suitable replacement parts which are difficult to find. They also included a 70 point inspection and identified items that could cause future issues. I was happy with the results. It was dealer style service without the cost. Considering what I brought I was happy with the price. Very reliable and trustworthy Repair shop.

My experience with the service men and women at Carlax was positive. They're experienced and honest, and know how to give their clients peace of mind. They're trustworthy, and I like the fact that they explain the problem after diagnosing it, and letting me know if they're equipped to take care of the problem or if I need to take my vehicle elsewhere.

I m so happy to find this place! My car is fairly new but it is my commute car, so it has a lot of mileage. My car needed maintenance service but I was apprehensive taking it to the dealership because it was going to be expensive. I googled and read many great reviews on Carlax, plus it is 5 minutes away from my house. Service prices are fair and they are not pushy or overpriced like other locations I ve encountered. The receptionist, mechanics and owner (Bruce) are very knowledgeable and professional. Will definitely be coming again for future maintenance!

We have been taking our vehicles to Bruce for 25 years. He has always been professional and straightforward about the repairs needed. Bruce and his team are top-notch mechanics, and they go above and beyond for their customers. They will answer any questions you may have, and they will refer you to other local businesses if it is something they can not fix. Excellent customer service, no nonsense repairs, and being treated like family make this shop the best in the business.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place! Bruce and Jake and EVERYONE there is intelligent, kind, straightforward and thorough.I brought in a car that had a tire burst after damage from the hurricane and wanted to make sure it safe to drive as the dealership didn't check the car other than simply changing out the tire. It turns out there were issues with the fender and lining /guards were all also severely damaged. Thankfully, Carlax thoroughly inspected the car and there was no further damage.You can truly feel that they care and are extremely well versed on the best way to get things done. Pricing is fair and thoughtful. They have a 70 point inspection (which those multipoint inspections always make me laugh because it's never explained what we are paying for) but Carlax even showed me them point by point on the computer. I was shown and explained the issues firsthand. I feel much safer knowing we are in their care and plan on bringing the rest of the family cars here!On a personal note, while I was there I was offered food multiple times haha and they just seem very genuine and trustworthy in addition to being masters at their work. Thank you so much to the entire team!

I couldn t ask for more! From first call to walking in to driving away. The receptions was friendly, Bruce the owner stopped in to say hi, and they suggested some future simple things without being pushy. Excellent service. I ll be back!

I recently needed work on my Ford mustang I went to various different shops around town to get quotes, Carlax quality automotive not only gave the best quote but the owner Bruce was very confident about his ability to fix my problem and that appealed to me. After the work was done I was surprised at the whole experience. They were professional courteous there are no hidden fees . And it was done in a timely matter exactly how long I was told it would take. Good job Carlax, keep up the good work.

The moment I walked in it felt like family! Bruce, Jake, Tina and Gracie are awesome! They went a step further than most with their service & communication. They fixed my A/C and it's working great! Their pricing was fair and honest, and Tina even lowered my cost slightly when I went In to pay which doesn't usually happen. Honest, fair, and trustworthy! Jake and Tina made the experience special and I will definitely be using only Carlax Quality Automotive for all my car repairs from now on! A big thanks to the whole Carlax staff for a job well done!

I was surprised at how great the customer care is. They make sure you have understood all the issues with you car and explain everything in detail. They are also very honest people and practice integrity. I'll definitely be going here for my car services. Very quick and affordable. Bruce and his staff are great. This is my first experience with them since they took over Quality Automotive. We had been family friends with the previous owner. Bruce really went out of his way to do a complicated repair for us and saved us thousands of dollars over what a dealer wanted to charge. So glad that Carlax Quality Automotive was recommended to me for my car repairs! With the craziness in the world and the lack of quality and integrity that is so pervasive anymore, I was relieved to find Bruce and Jake! It took a bit longer than expected and Grace kept me apprised of the situation, I have a Volvo, but was happy to get back a car that ran well, for a few days. So many of our parts are manufactured in China, even the higher quality name brands, which they use. The part failed!!! Bruce immediately backed his work and replaced the part (no charge) and took it for test ride to make sure the car was solid. So far so good! I know where I am taking all my vehicles!!!

I took my 2009 corolla to Corolla to Carlax after spending over $2000 for my brakes at G & S that were causing the car to shake when pressing the brakes to slow down from 70 not slamming the brakes 1st they said i needed new brakes which was a bit over $1000 it still did exactly the same thing so they said it was the control arm and that was another 1000 and it was never fixed and I think they are no longer in business but not sure they were purchased by someone else that keep the name but not sureSo I finally took it to Carlax and they fixed it and it stops as it should and since then I took my other corolla there for brakes and it is also fine. I recommend this repair shop for your car repairs and they are friendly.

They flushed my radiator and service the entire system double checking all the cooling on my 66 Chevy pick up. I ve been going to Bruce for about 25 years now and it has always been excellent service. I will definitely continue to use Bruce for any automobile repairs.

Grace wasn't honest, this last time I went, I felt like I got robbed. I paid 180$ for diagnostic, but I was getting overcharged and given False information, I was being charged over $500 just for the front brakes and Rotors I told her that I called a place she referred me to Affordable tires and that they where only charging me 320 and her reply was oh wow that's cheap and came to find out I only needed the brakes and i paid only $180 wow smh. It's so sad after being a loyal customer for so long and getting this kind of a treatment.Service: Vehicle Inspection

Today was the first time I used Quality Automotive CarLAX since they changed ownership. I have to say I was very pleased with work they did to car. I met the owner Bruce, who is very friendly and easy to talk with about what's needed for repairs. They were also very timely in getting the job done.Based on today's work, I'll continue to have them repair my cars.

I ve been a customer of Quality Automotive for a few years now and I am always impressed with the people working in the shop, the quality of the work they do on my car and the fair and honest pricing. I always wait for my car in the office area and I hear the way they speak to their customers and each other with respect and kindness. I should have left this review months ago when my vw went down and I didn't know what to do. I took it to Bruce and he fixed it in one day, worked with me on payment and got me back to work the next day. Thank you again CarLax you are second to none.

Hi Bruce just wanted to say since you took over I've had nothing but a great experience, I happy you're not like other mechanics that take advantage of female customers. I came in for the regular maintenance and everything was good, and you didn't say you did things just to get money, I've been recommending everyone to you, keep being great

Had my mom's Nissan Xterra repaired here. Had brake booster replaced as well as 3 codes fixed. Bruce was great. Worth the price if you want it done right.

Bruce and his team have always done excellent work and been more than fair in their pricing. Bruce is very up front and honest about with that needs to be done, what it will cost, and how long it will take. He is very responsive to questions and concerns, and always explains things in a way that is easy to understand. I was given his name through friends several years ago and couldn't be happier with the service I've received.
