Jack's is capable of Pebble Beach quality work but not in my case. My Porsche 718 took Two months to repair a bumper and trunk replacement (trunk was dented below and I was told it needed to be replaced to comply with Porsche standards) and when I picked up the car the trunk was still dirty (first thing that should have given me cause for pause), I was hurried out of the inspection process and the underside of the trunk was looking decidedly not new (although billed for it) as the corners of the trunk were smeared with undercoating that a "new trunk" would not have required. Overspray was present on the trunk and white spots (compound or Autobody dust mixed with moisture allowed to dry on the convertible roof). The car is 'fixed' but only a 3 star performance from a place that is capable of much better. Being told this was THE place to go, I remain disappointed and I share this to make sure people don't have my experience. It is hard to get under the car but I will try to update this with photos.

The owner took one look at my car that is 40 years old and told me to not touch it. It s in great shape and if there is a next owner then he can do what he wants to do as far as paint is concerned.

Exceptional customer service when I dropped my pride and joy off. Although looking at almost 7 weeks has me really worried my road trip I've planned for 2 years now is in jeopardy. Really hoping they can get my beast finished soon. Already been 1 month today.

I was recently referred to Jack's by Audi Palm Springs for repairs to my 2015 Audi Allroad. This was a welcome referral after a terrible incident had happened in the desert while visiting Giant Rock. Not only is Jack's certified in Audi Repair that is "Ultra Advanced" so I was really glad to know they'd be taking care of my car. The showroom felt like heaven for a guy who loves cars, and everyone I met was friendly and professional. While this story ends with my car being declared a total loss, I couldn't be more pleased with Jack's. I worked mostly with Steve Harford, and he was really great to work with - knowledgeable, kind, and considerate of the sad state of things related to my Allroad. Because I was on vacation when the damage happened, I would be leaving my car in CA while heading back to WA state. Steve was accessible on the phone and beyond helpful. In fact, he kindly ensured that everything I'd left in the car - b/c I thought I'd be getting it back soon - was boxed up and sent to me at my home near Seattle. It was very comforting to know Steve and the whole team were such top-notch professionals. Dealing with a sad event from several states away is hard enough, so the level of care and professionalism shown by the people at Jack's - from the front desk to the last mile, did wonders to help me feel okay as things unfolded. While I don't live in Palm Desert, I would be more than happy to recommend Jack's and would go there immediately if I needed the best quality and the best service for my vehicle repairs. I was in an auto accident on 6/21/21. I was rearended on the 10 freeway. My car is a 2021 Porsche Macan with 1000 miles when the accident happened The car was towed to Jack s who Porsche Palm Springs recommended. It took 4 months for Jack s to complete the repair. Upon examination they missed several items. One issue was the hood was not aligned correctly. I have returned the car 3 times, but the hood alignment is not fixed. I asked to speak to Jason Jackson, he will not return my calls. I was told before I signed the contract that the car would be returned just like new . I have been patient with them, but now I realize they won t fix the problems. They are not an authorized Porsche shop. In fact their Porsche system for testing is not current.This has been a terrible experience After 6 months no resolution of the problems by Jack s. Now I have to find a Porsche authorized body shop to correct the problems created by Jack s.Steve was very helpful, but he couldn t get Jason to fix the problems.Services: Exhaust, Steering & suspension repair, Painting, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Body & Trim

They even might be good at what they do but I can not tell - I never saw the finished work. Their customer service was horrible! My misfortune happened at 1 month to the end of the lease. The dealer recommended them and being so close to the end of the lease I wanted to be extra sure. They knew about the end of lease and promised to do their best but they did not lift a finger for the first 2 weeks! My beloved car that did not spend a day out of my garage now sat on the street all dusty and dirty. They lied about wheels being send out and other tactics. They finally admitted they dropped the ball but promised to behave. And behave they did not - they made sure I never drove the car even though I asked them for at least a day. My car was towed to the dealership 2 days after the lease due date - the dealer needs to air-out the brake system I was told. I saw my car at the dealer being worked on. I was promised a free detail work as a compensation but my car was not even clean! I got my things from the vehicle and was relived to sign lease termination papers. There was a great car I told the service manager at the dealership at the farewell. Yes he said and it will be as soon as they air out the power steering....

Couldn't be happier. My car is better than before it was hit. It had some scuffs and chips prior to my accident. My accident was with a semi truck. Semi vs. M235 bmw. BMW lost but not too badly. Driver door, left fender, front spoiler (front spoiler now called something else) and the wheel. All pieces replaced, painted and blended. Rafa was the estimator. He answered all my questions and returned my phone calls. Jack the owner introduced himself then personally gave me a tour. Jack is very proud of his auto body shop. He designed it himself. It is fabulous, like a museum! Malissa in customer service kept me informed of the progress. The car was finished ahead of time using only Original parts (Jack refuses anything else). I was out of town for a week after the car was finished. Rafa stored the car in the showroom. The car was polished and beautiful when I picked it up. Because all of the existing scuffs and chips were in the path of the accident, they were cleaned up too, Collateral fixing. I would not hesitate taking my car to Jack's Body Works.

The overall paint job is good. I am not happy with the lack of inspection of the finished product. I have white rubbing compound in the trunk deck that they couldn't remove without possibly damaging the paint. The whole process took 4 weeks and was supposed to be 2. There was absolutely no communication from them about my vehicle status and every time I called I got a different answer. I finally had to drive 1 1/2 hours to see my car that was supposed to need a final buff and it had no bumpers.So when it was time to get it the windshield wasn't replace like it was supposed to so had to make another trip. That next trip still wasn't done. One more time and finally done. I made several calls to find out my cost over the insurance coverage and took 4 calls and the car was painted by then. I expected more from a place that does higher end cars but maybe my Honda didn't qualify.I would not use them again.

While staying a week in Palm Desert, CA in May 2014, I backed my new MB GL63 AMG SUV into a post at a time share villa and damaged the driver side rear quarter panel. I couldn't drive the car back to my home in FL with the damaged panel and needed to quickly find a body shop that could do quality work and get the work done in four days. After reviewing several body shops, Jacks Body Works stood out after viewing his work on his website. Very early the next morning I drove to his business in Cathedral City. Jack and his foreman checked out the damage, gave me a fair estimate and promised they would have the work done by Friday (4 days). Jack personally drove me back to Palm Desert. As promised on Friday, I got a call my SUV was ready to be picked up. When I got there it had been washed and the work on the panel was top quality. I can't thank Jack and his staff enough for finding a way to get my work done. Great customer service and attention to details!

Big thank you to Jack and his team for their professionalism, 5* work and speed of service. I sent a SOS to the team regarding a spray painting job I needed done on my 2018 Motorcoach while I was in town visiting for 1 week - Jack himself quickly replied and said he could do it and have the coach back to us on the same day. Being out of towners we were a tad nervous leaving our coach and putting all our trust into previous positive reviews but there was no need!! The team perfectly matched all 4 coach colours and were able to recreate the intricate design to perfection. We are absolutely delighted with the end result and happy that our coach is looking new and sparkly again!!! Thank you Thank you Thank you guys - you're the BEST!!!

Jack and his crew are among the very best at what they do. It is extraordinarily difficult to manage costs and time under the extreme pressure that insurance companies have placed upon body shops. In real, inflation adjusted terms, body shops are forced to take something on the order of 30 to 40% of what an insurance company would have paid them 20 years ago.Jack is somehow able to produce world quality craftsmanship and in some cases true art in an economic environment that has crushed so many others. He is a Renaissance man. Labor relations, industrial engineering, complex financial planning, detailed legal understanding, and more.All of that is important, but I think he must have the soul of an artist because I am most impressed with the sheer beauty that he and his team bring to the world.His isn t a body shop, it is a cultural institution and a brilliantly run company -without contradiction, conflict, or any sense of irony that those words imply. Congratulations, Jack, you have earned it.

Took our car to Jack's which had been scratched up by a car wash. Not only did they do a fantastic job with making the car look new again, but they made it a breeze for us by being courteous and efficient. Thanks!

Took our Porshe there after being backed into in a parking lot because they were an approved insurance shop also certified by Porshe Once it was there they worked with insurance adjuster and finished earlier than expected, and best part was the car was washed, vacuumed and spotless. Awesome thing to do, which in my book, goes a long way!

I took my 2010 BMW to Jack's and the workmanship is awesome, I was very pleased and I would differently recommend them to anybody. That's why I'm taking my 2015 jaguar to them.

Crooks. Ordered a carbon fiber diffuser to replace a cracked one from the accident and they charged my insurance and never installed my part. Dodged phone calls for months afterwards when I tried to pick it up. They will also take months for repairs. They have since moved to a new location. Beware.

They have continually lied about my car (only needs new radiator and windshield. 8 weeks!! They have had it. 3 weeks ago they told me it would be ready in "a few days"..but today they told me they "had ordered" the radiator. LIARS! SCAM. Do not use

Terrible work. The quality of parts and the labor was bad. They cut corners and did not fully reassemble the body parts. Clear coat is peeling after 1 year....DO NOT GO HERE.
