Smog Dog/Ricardo are great. Was able to come I. Without an appointment after confirming with Ricardo. He got me in and out within 20 mins. Personally and friendly. I would highly recommend him. Especially any one in Sun City Palm Desert. Close and easy to get to!

Smog Dog is great! They do not overbook their appointments. So you get in and out in a timely manner. They're extremely honest, helpful and friendly. But best of all, you may not only pay for the test on your car but also pay your next year's annual registration and leave with your your new renewal sticker! So easy and convenient! Every time we need to do a smog test we only go to Smog Dog!

If you go here make sure Will helps you because Rolando is a grumpy old salami smuggler. He needs to retire already, he obviously hates his job and is very rude. Will is great and very professional on the other hand. Thanks Will.

Been there in the past. Took me right away, no hassle.Went in this time and because I had no appointment I was asked to go sit down and ignored.Needed to take care of things THAT afternoon and remembered another smog place which had great customer service every time and left. Called back to Smog Dog and they had no appointments left for the afternoon. So why couldn't he tell me that when I entered earlier?Used to be convenient. Now do NOT go if you do not have an appointment.I needed to get this done that day. Found a place by DMV and I was done in minutes (they were very busy), everyone was very pleasant, and had time to get back to DMV!

Great place for Smog check. Warm friendly staff and the entire process took 15 minutes.Go to web site make appointment and it would be even quicker.

Fast and friendly. And lots of candy in the waiting room (really). A tad bit higher in cost than other smog companies but they got us right in which was worth it.

I would not recommend this company. They purposely performed a smog to collect money on a vehicle when they knew it would not be able to get certified based upon an aftermarket item that the vehicle owner was not aware of. Totally unethical business practices. A legit business would have done a physical inspection, brought the concern to the customer prior to performing a service they knew would fail.

I went to get my vehicle smogged without an appointment and they serviced my vehicle super quickly. The waiting area is very comfortable and the people were super nice and professional. I would definately reccomend this place to someone who is in need of getting their vehicle smogged quickly and easily.

Smog check done in 15 minutes! Great customer service with great pricing. I worked with the owner Rolando who is very professional and cares for his customers. I had an issue with my battery and he was able to connect me over to Harvs auto care immediately after my smog check to get that taken care of. Highly recommend both of these businesses!!! Great people, high quality service, Low Prices!

I went there today in order to register my used car I purchased a week ago. They walked me through the paperwork and did the smog check which is required here.(recent transplant) Everything was professional and fast, so much faster and easier than standing in ling at the DMV! Very happy with their service and will use them again!

They ve been fast and efficient each time I ve been there. I ve done 3 smogs with them and they have been great each time. Their site might say they do more than just smog too to help register and skip the DMV.

Oh I love going there ..!!They are amazing, they will renew your registration for you , no need to go to the DMV .. The Smog Dog does it all ..!!!

Best place I found in my area. It was great in an out. In little over half hour. Really friendly.And helpful. Nice clean waiting room. Real comfy. I'm going back in two years. For smog.

Everyone I have spoken to at Smog Dog has always been extremely thoughtful, respectful, and honest. They have always done a vrry thorough job. If there is something that I don't understand, they will take the time to patiently explain it to me. I then walk out of the door with a completely new understanding of something that I had no clue about prior going in the door at Smog Dog. I would highly recommend Smog Dog to everyone!

Update August 7, 2020: I had a great experience here again. The shop owner wore a mask and was friendly, and there weren't a bunch of people scheduled at the same time.I stopped by Smog Dog as soon as it opened. The lounge had comfortable couches, a small TV, magazines, and most importantly air conditioning. I was there a little longer than their other customers since my car needed to be tested on a dynamometer, but even then I was in and out fairly quickly. I'll definitely be coming back here the next time I need a smog check.

Fastest smog shop ever. The woman who helped me was welcoming and polite. She even called me back when I forgot important papers in the store! Standard pricing and was given a free car wash coupon. Also you can buy tags here which is convenient.

I always get my smog here because it's sooo convenient to just pay for everything at once and get your tags on the spot! Plus Auto plaza is right next door and I always get my vehicles there. And if you like to window shop for cars while waiting on your smog to get done this is the spot Also Good honest people all the way around this plaza!

Walked in, no appointment.....quick check-in and out within 20 minutes. Great shopping across the street so was a great way to spend time while inspection took place. They are about $4 less than others for my year car...would recommend them to others.

I had a great experience at Smog Dog Palm Desert. Dan was so helpful. I came for the emissions test so I could start the process of getting my car registered in California. Dan told me he could do the entire registration in his shop. He helped me complete the proper forms and he put the new plates on the car. The emissions test was done quickly and efficiently too. Dan also gave me some useful tips about taking the written exam for my driver's license. I will certainly come back her again.
