Awful place. Attempted to severely overcharge me for resolving a water pump and thermostat. Fortunately, I was more knowledgeable than the front desk guy, Efram, and informed him that I wouldn t need the extra $250 service that was a bogus charge. Efram then proceeded to purposefully not reinstall a thermostat into my truck which obviously caused issues. Fortunately, it s not too difficult to install a thermostat and as such I did so.This is my very first review on Google. I m writing because the service was dreadful and had the potential to seriously damage my vehicle if I didn t know better about the thermostat not being reinstalled. I would give ZERO stars if I could. I now go to J&E Automotive and they have been very honest and generous; a great set of mechanics there.

My front axle broke and I needed it fixed right away. I called around for quotes and Kim's Automotive had the best price and great reviews. Efren, the owner, fixed my axle, explained clearly what was done and what else needed to be done in the future. He provided great customer service, and seemed honest & trustworthy. I will definitely start going to Kim's from now on.

My radiator went out and I barely made it to Kim's with my car overheating. I was frazzled to say the least. Although they were really busy, the super freindly receptionist assured me they would check out the problem. Effren took the time right away and gave me a reasonable printed estimate and, amazingly, was able to get the parts and fix my car the same day.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

I was told I needed brakes and was given an 800$ quote so I decided to get a second opinion and dropped by Kim s automotive. Efren walked me thru the inspection and showed me I still had 70 percent of my pads left instead of taking the work he was very honest and I will be returning to him for all my automotive needs. Thanx Kim s automotive

Best mechanic in town. They will find the problem and fix it. Efren is amazing and answers and returns every call. I found out about this shop through a friend of the family and haven't taken my vehicle anywhere else since. Fair prices and amazing customer service.

I came here based off a neighbor recommendation and partly due to get a second opinion.Highly personal and friendly Efren welcomed me in the same day as a walk in and took a look at the vehicle right away. Check engine light came on went to another shop that wanted to charge me 2 grand for the fix and was told by them there's no other way. Came here and Efren fixed the issue in 2 days mostly due to needing to order a part from the dealer. Throughout the whole transaction and diagnosis Efren was 100% transparent and let me know exactly which part and what was being done to the vehicle and he explained everything in common terms. Highly recommend this mechanic shop. Efrain did not even charge a diagnosis fee which the first shop did. I highly recommend them. They will only address the issues that the customer has concerns for and never try to up-sell you on other services that is not needed.Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes

If you are looking for an affordable, friendly, and knowledgeable shop to repair your vehicle give Efren's team a chance. I took my 2017 Pacifica for an a.c repair and radiator change. It was half the price of the dealership. Thank goodness I was reffered to them by a friend. Found our new family mechanic.

I ve come to Kim s Automotive twice with urgent issues and they ve managed to get my car in day of AND out of the shop within a day. I don t know much about cars and he s always super helpful with explaining issues to me. On top of quality service and customer support, they re the most affordable place I ve taken my car! That s saying a lot bc I ve lived around different areas of California, Nevada, Colorado and New York. 10/10 recommend.

I loved their customer service there with Maria, but not only that Efren was a great person who did everything that was need in my car and with a great price! Thanks to Efren and Maria you guys were great and professional and repaired and did all services in my car made it feel brand new. They even took me to my work when I needed a ride while they fixed my car!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Brakes, Air conditioning, Battery, Oil change

I had a slow leak in the right front tire of my car. Within 15 minutes they had found a nail, repaired the tire and placed it back on the car. No charge. Any idea what this would have cost at the dealership? They get 5 stars from me.Service: TiresService: Tires

I did an oil change and tires rotation and thank god that Efren was there, he is the best person to had help me out. Thank you Efren for taking care of everything and even helped me get to work when I didn t have a car! Love his customer service!! Thank you so much!

Went in for an A/C problem...they diagnosed and repaired my A/C as economically as possible, provided courtesy transportation and returned my vehicle. They were professional, reasonably priced and honest. Highly recommend these people. A happy Canuck.

I made an appointment days in advance for a "company work truck" to have its clutch replaced. I reminded them that I need it for work on Monday. (was brought in Thursday evening-they had all day Friday & Saturday to do it -Closed Sunday). They called me and said my water pump was leaking and that i needed a new one. I said whatever I need this truck Monday for work. $950 L8R. They said to pick it up (Friday night). When I drove it back to the office, it died! Two blocks away from the office. Pushed it two blocks. It was leaking antifreeze. Won't start. Battery now dead. I call Mike Oh. He says for me to tow it back and he'll check it out. I said I used to have AAA but why should I use my tow service miles? He then said he will tow it? Calls me up. says it started fine. It's NOT leaking and that he thinks its just a bad battery -he'll test it and let me know. He then calls me up says I need a new radiator and a battery and it will be fixed Tuesday. I picked it up on Tuesday and get handed a $440 invoice! I said I came in with a clutch repair dude what's up? He then looked at me with puppy dog eyes and asked if I was going to make him "eat the repair". What about me being gone from work all day Monday? The then stood there and said nothing for 5 minutes. hoping i would feel sorry for him or something? I got my keys and left. He then shows me a part that he said was a water pump that was bad and said "please take your truck- I been here for 30 years I don't want no problems". Well, when I got back to the office the dam thing don't start in the morning! I got to take it someplace else now. I'm MAD!

They have always completed the work as scheduled and according to price quote. I can call if I have questions about my car and they always take the time to thoroughly explain the problem and the solution.Thank you Kim's Automotive!
