The check engine light came on on my 97 F150. Cam's found the problem and located the parts which are getting harder to find. Great work! Now to load up the truck with camping gear and 3 kayaks on the truck and 8 on the trailer to take Scouts on another trip on the Colorado River. I know the truck is able to make another trip. Thank you, Cams!

If you need any work done on your car, don t even bother to shop around, Cam Stone is the BEST! Very fair and reasonable prices. ( half of what you would pay at the dealership) great work done right. They let you know what s going on every step. The guys are super nice and friendly. Amazing! I would give the 10 if I could.

Had problem where my car started sputtering, driving horrible, then stalled. Had AAA tow it to Cam. Diagnosed it fast, needed two fuel injectors, and new spark plugs. He quoted me a price and came in less. I checked prices around and other shops quoted several hundred more It was completed a day earlier than expected, on President s Day.I just drove the car to my house in Cathedral city and It drove beautifully And it's nice and clean. I am very happy with the service and highly recommend them to anyone that needs service on their car.

I have been going to Cam Stones automotive for over 10 years. They are quick to respond to any problem and their prices are competitive. I just bought 4 tires from them. Their price was the same as a major tire store, they got the tires in that day and installed them. They really care and work hard to solve problems. It s the only place I will ever take my car to. In my mind above 5 stars.

After an unpleasant service experience at a local Honda dealership, I was referred to Cam Stone s Automotive by a friend (and also a family member) and was very pleased from the first phone call all the way through to the follow up text after the work was completed. I needed a parking sensor replaced and would have paid twice as much had it been replaced at the dealership. The staff at Cam Stone s are all helpful and welcoming, both in person and over the phone and very prompt with return phone calls, appointment scheduling, etc. I had initially spoken with Guy and while they had never done that particular repair he and the team did the research and got it done! Will definitely be returning here again for any other auto work!

Visiting from out of town when my dashboard engine (and other) lights came on for no apparent reason. They took me in the next day, fixed it in less than 10 minutes, and didn t charge me anything. The quick solution was to tighten the gas cap and long term is to get an OEM cap from the dealer. Thank you Cam Stone s Auto!

My car broke down in Banning and I'm from nor cal. I've had my own mechanic for 30 years and was hesitant about how to find a good honest mechanic. These guys are awesome. They fit me in, were professional, fair priced and followed up a couple days after to be sure I was satisfied.

I was in dire need of a timing belt and a valve cover gasket for my 06 Mitsubishi Eclipse. Not only did Cam Stone's Automotive get me a quote instantly but they were the only mechanic that was willing to quote it out of the 4 local businesses I called. Service was great, pricing was reasonable, and it took less time than I expected. Even received a follow up. Excellent care and follow up. These guys are busy though, lots of people trust them with their cars. I like that they kept good records and listened to the problem, and to top it off they fixed it for a reasonable price. They are not discount but absolutely reasonable. They have done work on three of our vehicles over the years. This time it was air conditioner trouble.

This has been the best auto repair iv ever received. They just dont look at the problem they went futher and figure out what caused the problem. Totally honest staff. Service is excellent and a price way under what dealers have quoted.

I took my truck to a shop that I won t name and they told me that I needed a new engine. I was devastated, but because the mechanic offered to buy the truck, I thought that I should get a second opinion. It turns out that the first mechanic had drained out the gas and removed the spark plugs, among other things. Cam Stone s found a few simple issues, fixed them, and I was able to drive off in a truck that probably has at least 100,000 miles to go. I can t thank Adam and his crew enough! I won t take my vehicles anywhere else!

I drove an hour and a half to have them repair my truck based on the recommendation of my sister and she was right they were extremely professional and went above all expectations i find them to be honest and knowledgeable and would highly recommend their services

The story begins in early August when my wife & I were about to make a road trip to the Oregon coast and back and I wanted to get my SUV checked before we made the trip. Called Cam Stone's and got an appointment to check fluid levels, change any needed, and a general safety check. I was at about 57K & told Carl that I'd come back after the trip for the 60K service check. My wife has gone to Cam's for several years but this was my first time to use their service.They called me a few hours later to say all the fluids were good but my tires were in bad shape. They were the originals so at 57,000 miles I was not surprised. Got them replaced at a local tire shop & was very happy with the new ones on the trip.We drove about 2200 miles and I took the car in last week for the 60 K servicing. John called me to say I needed new front brakes - not a surprise - and that I needed all new lug nuts for my wheels. This was a surprise since I did not know that 20 lug nuts could wear out at such a low mileage. It turns out that Ford, no longer in the business of using common sense, and put some sort of fancy lug nuts on the Escape at the time I bought one and now they were stripped and needed to be replaced. I have no idea if the tire company did this when I bought new tires but it is likely they either did it or discovered it and did not tell me.I told John to do the brakes and get lugs nuts on the wheels that are useful and picked up the car the next day. Everything was done correctly and the new lugs nuts are my pride and joy. They look great and they can be removed and put back on with the normal effort and tools. The work done was less than I expected to pay. I know I would have paid more at the dealership where I have been in the past.The Escape is a great car to drive and very good for my needs. It has many things about it that work fine. The new lug nuts work fine but sometime I'll tell the story of the rearview camera.Both my wife and I like Cam Stone Auto Repair and I likely to keep going here for service. Just wanted to share my recent experience with Cam Stone's, in a word, it was fantastic. I usually handle my own car maintenance and have a good sense of whats wrong with my cars, but with my most recent issue i just couldn't figure it out, i took it to Cams based on word of mouth, and not only did they diagnose the issue, they handled acquisition of an out of production part for my relatively uncommon vehicle, all at a very fair price. Adam has incredible customer skills and made the entire process stress free, If you need your vehicle serviced with no B.S. I was in Palm Desert for a conference and my vehicle engine essentially died. Although they were extremely busy, they knew I was from out-of-town so they managed to squeeze in me to assess the issues. I appreciate their honest feedback and recommendations. I recently took my truck in for a front-end shaking, alignment problem. They couldn't find the problem. They thought it might be a problem with the tire or the rim. They suggested I take it to American Tire. American Tire informed me that the center wheel cap had been glued on. Since it has to be removed for spin balancing, it might break during removal. They were able to get it off but could not put it back on because some of the tabs that hold it on were broken, hense gluing it on. Based on that, it looks like Cam Stone broke the center plug and tried to hide it by gluing it back on. Guess I'll be finding a new mechanic.

Great professional service, affordable, very thorough, lots of room to move around .I hate shops that are crowded, no place to park or very tight parking. I drove away feeling very safe and confident in their work & service, & it s comforting to know as a single lady and relatively new to the desert, I have a mechanic I can trust! Lucky to have found Cam Stone's via referrals from community Facebook groups. The shop is convenient to get to, they provide Lyft rides to/from your home, if you need. I prefer to go to CJs Diner and eat/work from there while my 2006 Mazda Miata is well taken care of by Carlos. Karl and Adam are courteous, knowledgeable, sometimes even funny, and most importantly, honest. I trust my Miata will be well maintained and repaired by this well-oiled machine of a auto service shop. As a woman who knows jack about cars, this is the only shop in the valley that I will take my car to. Cam's is run with honesty and integrity; there will be no swindling or being taken advantage of here! Oh, and obviously their work is top notch! Dudes know what they're doing, and do it in a timely fashion as well. Customer service is... chef's kiss. I contacted Guy at Cam Stone who is very nice. He quoted cost for parts and labor to replace mirrors. Parts were ordered and got an appointment right away. Very fair pricing and employees are friendly. Guy also did a follow-up the next day. I've had work done at Cam Stone a few times over the years and it has always been same friendly service. My neighbor also goes to Cam Stone.Service: Auto body & trim replacement

I called Cam Stones based off of reviews I read and boy was I glad I did. They weren't able to take my 2002 Escalade right away, but asked me what the problem was and told me I shouldn't be driving it. Luckily I had another mode of transportation. I dropped it off the day they had availability and was greeted with friendly staff. They called later that day to let me know the extensive amount of work that needed to be done and gave me an estimate of the cost. They had my vehicle for about a week and called during that time to keep me informed on the progress and cost. I felt very comfortable and confident in their work and will definitely be returning if I should need more work done. Thank you!

Great customer service. Prices were fair for the amount of work done. Adam was great. He worked around my schedule and spaced the repairs and maintenence over two visits. Adam and the team at Cam Auto were AMAZING! Took my Mitsubishi spider which had been garaged for 3 years and got it all up, refurbished and running again! He walked me thru each step to keep costs aligned before proceeding, as we weren t sure if it was even worth getting it going. They were communicative, professional, efficient, reasonably priced and speedy!
