I asked to have my wheels balanced. arrived for the appointment. took the wheels off and put them back. no balancing was done. I had to go to another service center and get the balancing done. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!At first they didn t do anything. and when this became known they offered to fix it, which is what they did in a normal service!!! What else can we talk about!!! just return the money!!!

We had an appointment to have our car realigned at Sanford Tire & Brake Center, in Pacifica. While their specialist Pedro was doing the job, service advisor/ co-owner Chris invited us to relax in the waiting area (comfy seats, tv, magazines). Took less than 45 minutes. Very reasonable rate, and the front and rear alignments are perfect. Friendly, efficient service - recommended. We are happy!

This place is a ripoff and their staff are super rude. The guy swore loudly when his boss told him to help me. First the guy tried blaming me for the problem. He was wrong about the type of material he thought caused the issue. Then, he quoted me over $150 to replace a very basic part which costs $2. Maybe they thought I, a woman, was too stupid to know anything about cars. I went to Goodyear and they did it for free because it was so cheap. Both times I've been to Firestone, I was mansplained and talked down to. Their staff needs big-time customer service training. Save your money and go elsewhere.

This place is a ripoff. They are really good at fixing one problem and causing another on your vehicle. Then have the audacity to make you buy a broken part and expect you to be grateful that they are doing the work. Along with making you feel a certain way about their family business and how it s just showing how they are taking advantage of other people s money.

I had an amazing experience today dropping off my car for an oil change. Harvey and the rest of the staff were really nice and pleasant. I will definitely be coming back to this location again and again thank you.

John and Adel both have given me exceptional customer service with their knowledgeable expertise. There service is admirable and supportive with their gracious recommendations.This local business should be recognized for their efforts in providing such an old and lost tradition in how to respectful to each other. John has shown me the utmost respect and his smile is like a array of burning sunshine. There prices are fair market and honest. Your company should cherish these employees for their exceptional customer service .

Horrible experience! I went this place after waiting for my appointment a week for alignment. When I was there at the time of appointment they just said they don t have alignment guys and they just can t do it. They wanted me to reschedule and wait for another week. Worst part is they don t inform you when there is problem and can t fix your car before going there. They just wait for you to come to the place and just want to disappoint you.

Amazing service from Adel and his crew. Was in need of new brakes ASAP and Adel was able to squeeze me in the day of my call! Originally was going to have to leave my car overnight in order to get the correct brakes but Adel made the trip and picked up the needed brakes and I had my car 3-4 hours after dropping it off! Would definitely recommend their services.

Great and friendly service, especially from Adel. The place is expensive for their services, but what they provide is of great quality. Adel is so informative and helpful in telling me what needed to get fixed when I had them do an engine check diagnosis. As someone who doesn't know much about cars, I learned a lot.

My car's transmission failed and towed via AAA's reference to this shop, after my car was dropoed off they told me they don't do transmission and didn't tell me where to go. I payed extra towing to some other place after googled it. I called AAA to take this place off the list, they misinform the people wgen they put on their page Transmission.

Oil change is a bit pricey here and they don't accept parts from customers. In almost all other shops I've been to, they accept customer parts. I'm comparing my jiffy lube oil change receipt against the Sanford work order authorization. Jiffy charges $45 for oil change and they do a bunch of other inspect, check, fill services as part of the "oil change service". Jiffy also takes customer parts. Sanford charges $60 and use their own parts. They do a free tire rotation though along with the oil change service.EDIT: I was wrong in my original post. Jiffy Lube oil change is actually more expensive in the net:(filter:$6) + (oil:$27) + (gasket:~$0) + (customer provided oil and filter credit:-$5) + (labor:$50) = $78Compared against Sanford:(service provided parts, labor, and free tire rotation:$50) + (environmental disposal fee:$5) + (California state sales tax:$3) = $58.I used to get my oil changed at an independent shop in San Jose when I lived there. The comparison for that is:(filter:$6) + (oil:$27) + (gasket:~$0) + (labor:$20) = $53I guess I no longer need to buy parts which is nice. In summary, I'm going to correct my rating from a 4 to a 5. The pricing is not as bad as I originally thought.

Called to make an appointment for my fleet/ company vehicle. When i asked if they do fleet vehicles. He said you need to make an appointment . Like yes thats what i called for. He then told me i would have to spend ALL day there waiting for my truck because my fleet company is slow from what he said. Said it could take hours to get approved. ( you can get approval the day before and whats the point of the appt if i have to be there all day anyway) Then he mentioned being low staffed then tried directing me to another place. I get it if youre low staffed but dont shoo me away like that lol! I wouldnt have cared staying there all day, but he clearly didnt want to service a company vehicle. Called another firestone and they said id only have to be there for 2 hours. So make it make sense

Thank you so much John. I am so happy with their service... John took care and had all my electrical wirings checked. Little details and all. The service that I needed. no sweat.I got so tired going to different shops/mechanic and getting no real results. Sanford Firestone fixed all that. They are also a AAA partner. AAA recommended them and I m glad I listened.Thank you for taking care of the wiring and the leaks even if I only had my alternator done.More power!

I usually always go to a private mechanic but came here becuase I was in a rush. After reading the reviews (take them with a grain of salt), it seems to be under new ownership and it shows. John is the new owner and he's very fair and reasonable. He will always check before performing service on your car and if you don't know anything about cars, they do a nice job of explaining things in laymen's terms. I have continued to return as the pricing is fair, the location in convenient, and the staff are polite and professional. I would definitely recommend.

Superb service! would come here again! came in with an emergency tire repair which needed a tire replacement. service and tire job was done a day earlier than expected and customer service was better than I was expecting!

They are very friendly and helpful. I've been going to them for the past year and they've helped me out with oil changes and new tires. They are pretty quick but having an appointment definitely helps. Prices seem fair and quality of service is great!

When all other auto service centers in a 20 mile radius couldn't help me with my tires situation, Sanford Firestone came through quickly. They're honest, friendly and they are a 4th generation family-owned business.

I was referred to Sanford Firestone by a dear friend who had used them for years. She felt they excelled all the way around. And I will tell you they are just as great as she said! They quoted me a very fair price for services in advance and got my car in and out very quickly. Their people skills were amazing. Reminded me of how people "used" to treat one another. Anyway, I plan to reach out to them more often.

Sanford's service has kept my elderly Focus (16 years old) going strong. Keeping the oil changed, cooling system and transmission serviced, etc, really helps. I have had a couple of unexpected repairs over the years, but Sanford has always been there to help.

I was stranded with a flat as I was having a diabetic episode. A wonderful lady came over to help. She changed my tire and allowed me to focus on my condition. Her name is Dominique and I can not thank her enough! Sanford Firestone is lucky to have such a good kind helpful employee. Thank you Dominique!

Very nice People. Exceptional Service. Went to Firestone with a friend and got his rims outfitted with new tires. One of the older guys was nice to us gave us a reasonable price for the work, a lot better than the tire shop down at Skyline plaza. This was a down to earth business we need to have! I've only been here 2 times but I already love the place. The 1st time here I was blown away by their honesty and ability to explain everything they're doing to your car. Even just listening to them interact with other customers you can tell they're good people. Hopefully I won't need service again soon, but if I do, you can bet I'm going to Sanford Firestine!

The customer service here is amazing, I believe that it was an accident giving them a one star. I may have accidentally clicked it when I was looking for a tire replacement shop on my phone.First time i came here they replaced two of my tires the same day. Second time they were very busy but offered to fix my tire (punctured by a nail). Put my spare on and told me to come back tomorrow and they'll put the fixed tire back on. The only issue was they told me they would call with a time to come put the tire back on, when they weren't busy. They didn't call and I had to call close to the end of the day to double check if I could come in that day.But overall, always a good experience here.

This morning when I was going to get in my car to go to work I noticed that one of the back tires was flat. I have a mechanic who has been taking care of my car for years but since I was in a rush I had no other option but to look for nearest tire shop. I was lucky to end up at Sanford Firestone in the Fairmont Center where I could get my tires replaced. Chris Pinales was very informative, honest and he did not try to upsell me, instead he did his best to get me the best deal. I am impressed with the quality of customer service I received at Sanford Firestone, despite the volume of their business Chris could still offer me a same day service and did a great job at a very reasonable price.

The service at Sanford Firestone is awful! It is a stand-alone shop, not really a chain store of Firestone.I went there on July 13 for 10k-mile maintenance. Tire pressure was listed on checklist. Yet right after I left this shop, driving on Gateway Drive closed to them, the low tire pressure indicator went on. I went back to them. The technician just blamed it on some imbalance. He only turned off the indicator. Nothing else. I drove home, and ever since then I haven't driven. The car just stayed in my driveway. Today (July 18) my housemate found I have a flat tire. I called Sanford Firestone, and the one who answered said nothing they can do. They don't have mobile service.It's my first time to have my car maintained at Sanford Firestone, and it is also my last time.

Sanford Firestone is like family to us! Their customer Service is rated a 10 star.We have 7 family vehicles including business trucks (Dirty Rats Rodent Removal) they rotate our tires at no charge and let us know of any other problems with our Vehicles. They know all of us by name and greet us with a smile. Highly recommend for all your needs, Auto Repairs ,Tires and Smog Check
