They saved my day and were so great to deal with when I was already stressed out! I was traveling in our Ram Promaster 1500 conversion van in the city down from WA state and got a nail in the tire. I put air in twice so that I could drive to several shops that either weren't able to work on a van that size or didn't have the ability to plug the hole in the tire that day. Most places wanted to have me just replace the $250 tire, but Najib and Freddy were able to get the tire plugged for less than $80 dollars and within the hour to get me back on the road. They are on a corner lot and have two bays that were already full, but had me just pull up closer and brought their tools out to get the tire off. As I was traveling with a dog, we didn't even need to leave the van. Incredibly grateful for their friendliness, sense of urgency and price! Highly recommend.

Great shop! They ve done my repairs faster than I ve expected each time and at a good price. Najib took a huge nail out of my tire and patched it in about 30 minutes on a busy day.

The best!!!! My car died on the freeway, and AAA took me to this service center. They were slammed for the day, and cars were lined up out the door. They fit me, tested a few things, and got my battery changed.

I have a 1990 Blazer that I needed to get smogged. I brought it to two other smog shops and they both failed me with different excuses. When I came here I passed because Najib actually cares and worked hard to make the damn thing pass. Thank you Najib.

They won t honor the smog prices listed on their website. I was quoted $150 for a simple smog check on a two year old car coming in from out of state.

Najib was super helpful with my oil change, he got me in and out of there in 20 minutes and charged me less because I brought in my own oil and oil filter. Really great guy.

Excellent customer service! My tire was JACKED and they went above and beyond to plug it and save the tire - on a Saturday... True lifesavers because I probably would have been out of luck until Monday otherwise...Almost forgot - they checked all of my other tires as well!...Service: Tires

I cant be more thankful to stumble upon Eddie's 76 service center. My Ford diesel van would not start at all so I called AAA for assistance and it went downhill from there. I got towed to 3 auto shops and none of them could work on my car! Luckily, I was referred to Eddie's! Naj greeted me professionally and started a diagnostic right away, and found that my car wouldn't start because of a faulty kill switch that could have caught fire. He managed to put in a better quality kill switch (which came with 2 key copies) ,rewire everything, recharge my 2 batteries and replace the connectors without notice. He also gave me a great discount! I couldn't be happier and it was just in time for me to get to my class on time. Thank you Naj and your team. I am really grateful.

Najib saved my engine! Just a lady who asked nicely if someone could help me check my car transmission fluid. Turns out I have no oil. Silly me for even thinking I could count on the car to tell me. Some pleasant chatter and he had me on my way. Nice to have him in the neighborhood.

Najib is the most considerate and HONEST auto technician I have met here in the bay area! He will not only provide concise and appropriate servicing for repairing your vehicle, he will also seek to provide this service at the most affordable cost to you and give you options if there are any to give. He is also very timely and considerate of my schedule and gives accurate timelines for completion of work. Although the shop is a little unassuming, the service provided is top notch.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Auto emissions testing, Smog certification

Eddie was fantastic, saved me time and money. I had a problem with my gas tank valve. Eddie and his folks fixed it within 45 minutes Friday at 4:45pm. I was super stressed, but it fast and easy. I think the price was fair for a rush job with immediate turnaround, that probably saved me hours or even days going through the dealer/service center. My car would not start, dead starter, and Najib said he could fix it. The tow truck never showed up, so took me three hours longer to get my car to shop. Najib still fixed my car same day and he charged me a super fair price - same as what my normal mechanic told me would cost - without me having to haggle and Najib knowing that I lived 2 hours away from Pacifica!

Amazing service and fair pricing. I was on my way to pick up my daughter from school when my tire pressure warning went off. Turned out I had a nail in one of my tires and Cedric was able to repair it right away. I was so impressed by the prompt service. As always, Najib was also so welcoming and helpful. Thank you both!! I stopped by unannounced in great need of an oil change. I had only been in the area a month after a long hiatus from the Bay Area. Truth be told I didn't know who to trust. Let's just say my prayers were answered!! Najib is AMAZING at helping people quickly, professionally, and with great heart. Joe is a great mechanic and between the 2, I found myself well served and even making new friends! Honest, good, efficient... I would not go anywhere else the next time my car needs anything!

WARNING! I went to this shop to replace my battery, and they put in an old battery from 2013 (batteries only last 3-5 years max). It's on me that I didn't check their work and assumed that they would do honest work. Fast forward a little, I got stranded in the middle of a city street when the battery died. On top of that, their faulty battery damaged my alternator. Now I'm out about $1,000. I would highly suggest avoiding this shop. Doesn t sit right with me.Edit: I talked to the owner Najib. He seems like a respectful guy. He says nothing can be done without bringing the actual physical battery in. I had AAA replace the battery so I can get my car out of the street to safety. So, I don t have the battery. I appreciate Najib reaching out but the fact of the matter is that the battery his shop put into my car was well expired from 2013, and it caused me trouble and expenses. Best of luck to Najib s business in the future.

I been going to Eddie's 76 for car repairs for more than 10 years. The service is excellent and the proprietor, Najib, is kind and caring. He explores repair solutions with the customer and carefully explains what maintenance or repair needs to be done. There is no pressure and he is cognizant of financial concerns. If you have a flat tire or some emergency that can be fixed quickly, he'll squeeze in your drop-in, in spite of the fact his car bays are full and his work day may be a little longer. You cannot ask for a more knowledgeable mechanic or a nicer person.

Eddie's is convenient for me to go to, so I've been getting oil changes here for awhile. However every time I take a car in they tell me that I either need to replace something or something is broken and that they advise me that I shouldn't leave until they fix it. The last time I went in, they said my brakes were completely gone and that it would be very dangerous to leave unless they fixed them. Since everything else they have told me has been complete bogus, I left and took it to another shop, who said my brakes looked great and that nothing was wrong with them. I won't be using Eddie's again, and you should NOT go there if you can help it.

Eddie's 76 and Najib and his co-mechanics are EXCELLENT! I've gone here a few times over the years and they are FAST AND VERY COST REASONABLE. Here's what I like:--Najib will always fit me in quickly without notice, even though he might be busy.-- He has 25 year's experience and there is nothing he can't analyze and fix.-- They have ALWAYS been more cost competitive than the other mechanics in the area, and definitely less expensive than the Ford Dealership.-- They can fix ANYTHING!!! You get the best mechanics in the area for a bargain!

Eddie is a nice guy and honestl mechanic. He has helped me a number of times. I appreciate his no pressure attitude and warm personality. He went above and beyond to service my car and at a fair price. He gave me options and told me which repairs were urgent and those that could wait.

Eddies 76 has the best car service that I ve been to. They are very efficient, professional and have great rates for all types of car care. Najib, the owner, has been servicing our cars for over 15 years and not to mention the rest of the staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you so much for everything Eddies 76! Highly recommend this service center!

I stopped by here for service to my Nissan and Najib was very helpful, honest, and considerate when dealing with and working on my car. I wish more shops were filled with people like him! I will definitely be a returning customer.

I'm surprised by the negative comments here. I just got my car smogged at Eddie's 76 and he (Najib) was extremely friendly and fast. Didn't have that air that you sometimes get at car places--like you're an idiot for not knowing stuff. He had to retest, but the repair was only $25 and he made a point to show me the damage and explain why it needed replacement. Strongly recommend.

Don't ignore the bad reviews here! They're here for a reason! I was looking for a convenient location to save me from going over the hill. Called ahead for appointment to smog my 93 Miata. Was told 11:30 and $69.95. When I arrived at the shop I was told $89.00 and bring it back 3 hours later as it will need to be put on a lift and they had no room. When I mentioned the earlier appointment and quote they told me I must not have told the attendant the right year, which was ridiculous because it's the first question asked when you're getting a smog! Told me the smog would take an hour and a half to complete. I've never had any vehicle take that long.I found another place in Colma that had me in and out within 40 minutes including a minor gas cap seal replacement and a retest. Final price: $89.00. (Older cars do cost more typically. Had Eddie's been honest about it I would have paid without issue.) I understand honest mistakes happen, but not willing to give these guys another chance.

Don t let it go."

Could not be happier to find a good mechanic. After leaving San Francisco where we had a great mechanic, I was doubtful about finding one as good.They use genuine replacement parts and Amsoil for oil changes. If you're not using a good synthetic oil you're just wearing your engine out slowly.To all the people complaining about price, you get what you pay for. Worth every penny to get this level of service. My 15 year old truck runs and drives like new.
