First time using Pacific Motor Service. We had a flat tire in Pebble Beach and had to use roadside assistance to have the car towed to the nearest auto shop that would change the tire. This was the nearest so this was where we landed. We received excellent customer service. Communication was cordial, clear and prompt. We ended up replacing all 4 tires (the tread on all was dreadful) and getting an oil change. The price was more reasonable than I expected. The tires were ordered and all work was done by the next day.

Kyle is a wealth of knowledge and is completely transparent with their findings. I trust their suggestions/advice; it s a relief to find an honest auto shop! My husband knows much more about cars than I do, and he s been completely on board with what this shop has recommended. Win/win!

The team a Pacific Motor Service did an independent engine noise diagnostic for me on a 2020 Acura MDX. Although they were not able to identify the source of the noise without a significant engine tear down, Kyle went above and beyond and contacted an Acura dealership service manager regarding the issue as he believes it may be a powertrain warranty issue. Excellent customer service experience!

Wow, what can I say, this place is awesome! I was hesitant at first as always going to get my car worked on, since I don't know much about mechanics etc. but I went for a standard oil change since I get their fliers in the mail and I live around the corner. I thought prices were very reasonable pretty quick service for what I got done and super helpful and communicative employees. I wanted to get a new belt replaced and they gave me a few other options of things that may need to be done, very straightforward and honest I feel. They even fixed this piece of metal that was under my front bumper that has been like that for years and no other place even mentioned it, these guys just fixed it. I will definitely be a repeat customer with my hoopty and any future cars, even told my mom to go, so I will definitely recommend this place to homies

Brought in my car for an oil chage after making an appointment over the phone. Less than an hour later, spent in their pleasant office/waiting area, reading my newspaper on the phone, my car was ready to roll again.Pacific Morors has been my cars' home away from home for over twenty years now and will remain so, maintaining warranties and repairing anything within their realm while owning them, at reasonable prices.Wonderful service, courteous owner and staff, who will address your questions and concerns and keep your wheels in flawless, safe working order.Clean and green, all charges explained and authorization requested prior to the work done.It really is good to have Kevin and Kyle and their people in your corner.(And wheh was the last time you were in the middle of settling your business, when the phone rang, and that you were asked permission to answer the phone, although that would interrupt your business? That is just an example of their exquisite customer care.)

Do yourself a favor and if you have an Audi, take your car to the dealership. I had a major issue following a simple oil change here that was quite costly to get fixed. Make sure that you request the replaced parts, if you have your car serviced here! Check out Pacific Motor service on YELP...

Everyone was professional, helpful, and kind. They started work on my car as soon as they had an Available opening. When they determined what was wrong and ordered the appropriate part, They kept me informed. As soon as the part arrived, they put it in my car, came and picked me up at my house, everything running smoothly.

Kyle was very helpful and gave us a full service that was needed. I was only in town for a visit and Pacific motors helped get it ready so that I could leave on time. We did a great job.

The team at Pacific Motor Works do incredibly good work. I took my car in to get an oil change (knowing full well that there are some issues with my cars engine or transmission). They got the car and performed a much more detailed inspection than I thought and sent me updates on what they found, what they recommend and then prioritized the work they were recommending based on the vehicle overall condition. While I am not happy that my car is dying a slow death, I really appreciated that they were so thorough when performing my oil change and being honest with me on what they found. They are a trustworthy company and I definitely recommend bringing your car or truck to them for service.

I had severe engine issues, made an appointment and was seen right away. The solution they offered was the best . Repairs were made in a timely manner at a reasonable price. Communication with me was superb, and I highly recommend Pacific Motors. There is a reason they have been in operation since 1947!!

I brought my car in on Friday afternoon about 5 min before closing. (All the lights on the dashboard had started flashing while I was running errands). Kyle took time to look at it then and there. He offered an opinion (which turned out to be correct). He made me an appointment for Monday morning, and gave me advice regarding what to do in the meantime. Amazing service! Communication and overall service very timely. I was contacted back regarding an appointment date within the hour of initially requesting. I'm about to leave the area and needed some simple maintenance on my car and they were very kind and got me in within the same week. My options for replacing tires were explained thoroughly as well as the different estimates for each scenario. Highly recommend!Services: Tires, Wheel alignment, Oil change

I came to Monterey for vacation from Modesto CA, unfortunately my front brakes on my car were scraping metal to metal. I was so stressed out, because I was unable to drive anywhere in Monterey. It kind of ruined my vacation for the first day. Plus I needed to get back to Modesto. I called Pacific Motors service, they told me to bring my car in and they were working on it and no time. Few hours later my car was done, they did an amazing job. The job was done professionally with Quality Parts. Not to mention it was budget friendly for me. The cost was lower than the estimate. Office Personnel was amazing they were very courteous and very helpful. I highly recommend them. I promise you you will not be disappointed.

First time taking my Mini to a non-dealership for service. Very happy with Kyle s professionalism, friendliness, and calls/texts keeping me updated. No surprise charges. I think costs were in line with comparable foreign car repair centers, but I specifically liked the communication and feel very good about Pacific Motor Service! Oh, and Mouse is running GREAT!

(My car does run fine now, no spites to the mechanic) however Kyle at the front desk was very impolite and at no point felt sincere. The manager (Kyle) would not let me talk to the owner even tho I had spoken to him prior that day, and made an arrangement. Overall seems like they have some issues in their chain of command and it felt like I had to strongly advocate for myself in order to not get over charged and what I deserved. I am looking forward to your lengthy and discrediting excuse/response.

Excellent service and frequent communication. Kyle provided daily calls with updates. My service which should have taken 5 days was complete in 2 days, wow it was such good news. They also went through all the serviceable details bumper to bumper. All in all they saved me almost $400Thank you Pacific Moter service,

Pacific Motors always does a great job identifying problems that other places can t figure out and their work is always great. We ve had all kinds of things done to our various cars over the years and they ve always done it right the first time. No coming back because they repaired the wrong problem and now what we brought it in for, as has happened to us occasionally with other shops.

Service was excellent, and as the other reviews say communication is clear, straightforward, and friendly. They work with your schedule and preferred method of communication. The quality of work is also excellent. They identified the problem (shaking while braking at high speeds - rotor needed changing and brake pads pretty worn down) and addressed it. They also rotated my tires. Military friendly!

Pacific Motor Service was amazing! Super kind and professional throughout the whole process. I really like that Kyle broke down the process so I could understand it too! If you have AAA and need to tow your car, I highly recommend Pacific Motor Service! Kevin and his staff were so helpful. I am from out of town and found Pacific Motor while waiting for AAA to jump start my car. I contacted Kevin and he let me drop my car off and quickly diagnosed and fixed it the next day while we were at the aquarium. I really appreciate the friendly service.
