I made an appointment online for an inspection, when I got there KENNETH told me so sorry you had to call, we never make same day appointments. Why do you guys have online services then? KENNETH your service is to help customers, not to harm them with your bad attitude. I will never go back, now they have one less customer. They don't even deserve one star!

I went to Pep Boys for the first time in Ventura. I liked the service there. I thought it would be the same here, but I was wrong. Unfortunately, they charged me $629 in labor for the oil service and a few cable replacements. This is not fair. Those who will definitely go here should think twice.

My partner Kari and our two golden retrievers overheated on our drive for a Christmas visit in Oxnard, December 23. Our Subsru overheated just a couple miles from our destination, we drove ip from San Diego. Anywho, I did get an appointment at a local Subaru deletship, service center for 7:30am December 26. After they did their assessment the estimate was for over $7,000., basically a rebuilt engine. I declined their service and was recommended to Kenny s Pep Boys. bottom line, no major rebuold, but it did take some work, but honest work.Especially being from out of town , dure was nice to be treated like a local!

My recent tire replacement, scheduled maintenance and replacement of my wiper blades could not have gone better! Mike my technician and CC my service consultant were both efficient and completed my van in a timely manner! Excellent service by both representatives!

If I could give zero star I would but Mr. Ceasar overcharged me just to fixed one burn light bulb for $70, even thought I bough a head light bulb in NAPA store. and no military discount. My fellow Veterans, if you re reading this be careful with Pepboys, they charged too much. I would suggest go to Firestone, they will give you a military discount. I will never go to Pepboys again. Poor customer service and unfair price, yet they made wait for hours. After that my family was disappointed I came home late. Thanks a lot Pepboys, never again.

My experience here was cruel. I was told that my tires were all worn out. That I urgently needed new tires. I fortunately did not have enough money to buy 3 more tires. So I drove home from buying 1 tire to replace the one that had a nail. I went to another tire shop. They told me the tires were good. They had 3,000 miles left. Don't go to this Pepboys! They will try to take advantage of you. They will lie to you!

Came in for broken alternator belt. Of course they suggested replacing all three belts PLUS the water pump which they said had a very loose pulley but I don't know how they could check for that because the belt that runs the main engine and the water pump is intact and they didn't remove it so how do they know if the pulley is loose or not? Their first estimate was almost $800 for pump, five hours labor and three belts and I was supplying all the belts (I bought all three a year ago when the third belt broke, but it only runs the AC and so I hadn't ever bothered to replace any of them yet). Labor for belts was over a hundred dollars EACH (other shops had quoted me around $100 to replace all THREE in the recent past). Pep Boys kept saying my water pump was bad but it was the power steering that failed without the belt and that caused confusion. I wound up going into the shop area and showing the mechanic how the missing alternator belt also caused the power steering pump to not turn. He caught on quickly and I was able to convince them to just replace the one (alternator / power steering) belt that had just broken yesterday. I asked if they could give me a break on sliding my new AC belt on as well since that belt was already gone and so putting on the new belt should have been a five minute job but they still wanted the original $131 labor cost so I just had the one belt replaced. It took no more than fifteen to twenty minutes. They did offer me a 10% discount when I told them I was homeless and unemployed but it was still over $100. I think a 3/5 rating is very fair.

Bad service, I had my appointment scheduled at 12:30 and they saw me an hour after my appointment and I only went for a flat tire and rotation and it took 3 hours for my vehicle to be ready

Honestly I don t know why I have ever even tried with this company a long time ago I had my battery charged for free and in Vegas they told me I needed a new one. I just left the light on in the glove compartment so I went next door to autozone they charged up my battery it was a good battery no issue so pepboys lied. I also tried to get a Lyft inspection today they told me yesterday to schedule an appointment tomorrow cause I came by at 6pm which was late I get it today I called at 10am now they tell me no same day appointments they have such poor customer service. I hope they get bought out from a better company cause they don t know how to do business.

I came in for an oil change and tire rotation, but Pep Boys offered a free maintenance checkup. The service manager gave me a quote on recommended maintenance / service and appreciate the advice. I did not feel pressured to get the repairs done right away. I noticed that the store is repair only now and not sure if the retail side will return. I like the service from this store and the convenient location.

I forgot why i never come here. Worse service ever they dont even want refund you.NEVER EVER WILL COME HERE . VERY RUDE PEOPLE BAD CUSTOMER SERVICEspeacialy that cici girl . So rude right away.2 years ago there were rude too ,i totally forgot why i never come here. I told my family and they will never come here.

The day I was supposed to leave for a work trip, they took me in on a very busy Saturday and ran a diagnostic/fixed the issue in just a few hours. Kenny was incredibly nice, helpful, and really saved me! He wouldn t accept a tip so please give that man a raise! I will now be bringing my vehicle back here. Thank you Kenny!

I was impressed by the clarity of pricing and the accuracy of the mechanics. There was one gentleman who was so friendly on the phone I wish I knew his name. Either way good customer service isn't in abundance and the people here are always helpful. My vehicle was serviced last month and I am taking it back.

Car was taken in at the time of the appointment and done 45 min later. Was an oil change, rotation service. Only complaint is no window sticker when the next change is supposed to happen. The inspection report didn't have the car's mileage on it, not a real issue but it is nice to have mileage for my records when I sell the car.

I have a 99 dodge 2500 sitting on 35 s. I called to get a quote for a front end alignment. Mr. Kenny immediately told me a price. I explained that I was getting death wobble really bad. He then proceeded to explain to me that I was my steering dampener that was bad. I have a brand new one ready to be installed today.Kenny just saved me hundreds of dollars of trial and error. I am so grateful for his insight as this is my only transportation.Highly recommend these guys.

Just so they can upsell. They open up stuff that wasn't required for an oil change. Didn't put it back and things are now missing from engine bay. Have to visit 3 times to get things sorted.

They are liars!!!!! Took my car in for the second time with the same issue and they told me they ran all the necessary tests (found out they didn t) to figure out the problem. They told my my fuel injector was bad and they had to replace it. After paying almost $500 for them to REPLACE the bad part I took my car home. It was doing the same thing after they fixed it . Then after a few days I took my car back and they told me I would have to pay $2,950 to change a valve. After hearing this I took my car to get a second opinion and what do you know!!!? After taking it apart again we find out they NEVER changed the part!!!!! They also broke all the O-rings to the part so there was an air leak issue!!!! Pictures to prove below. They are lazy liars who just take your money! I m calling Better Business Bureau today and going in to get my money back!!! Never go here if you value your car, your money or your life!!!!

Hillary? Oh, I am so bad at name's, but the girl who runs the show did an excellent job assisting me. She deserves a raise because I have had bad Pep-Boys experiences in the past. I went in with no expectations (maybe a little dread) and left feeling like I just got a deal! Thank you!

Pep Boys Manny, Moe and Jack have been around the Los Angeles area for over 5 decades offering the public more than just auto parts and accessories. Tires, batteries, shocks and other normal maintenance items. They've expanded over the years even to other states. This is one of the oldest locations

Replacing a 4-month old tire that blew ended up costing $500!??I had a tire blow, took it to Pep Boys the next day after swapping with the spare. The shop was very busy and I didn t have an appointment but I didn t mind waiting as I didn t have any other options and was taking the day off of work to get the tire fixed.2+ hours later they got the car in and told me the tire was damaged and wasn t covered under warranty the 60,000 mile warranty even though only 12k miles had been driven since getting the tires new from this shop.An hour later they tell me a couple of the lug nut studs were cross threaded and would require dismantling the brakes and replacing the studs .which would be another $400 on top of the tire.The studs they said were defective were the same studs that were challenging to remove when changing the tire that they initially installed. I had no problem putting in the lug nuts myself however and did not overtorque them.I believe the shop damaged the studs themselves and jacked up the repair cost.I ve called Corporate to file a complaint but have not received a call back.

the store is in revamp mode. so there's no store at the moment. but the service part is functioning. they check your car for free and they give you a nice detailed summary of it. kinda expensive but the "legit" places are like that.
