I scheduled my appointment with Mountain View Tire online with Cooper tires to be put on along with an alignment, when I got there the tires I selected was not available so my bill went from $800+ to $1200+.Find a different place for your tires.

I have been going to "Goodyear" also known as "Mountain View Tire" for many years. They have always taken care of any and all my Automotive needs that I have had. They do the job right the first time and have always treated me fair. Talk with Cal or Juan.

As Always the crew did a fantastic job. Kalum and Juan have been taking care of my business trucks and trailers and my personal vehicles for many years now. I called them this time, asked them to take care of the tires on my daughter car. She had to be at work in an hour and her tires were not in good shape. One call and they took care of it. She was there, in and out in a flash. Thank Guys for always taking care of my auto needs.

Terrible service. Caleb is very unfriendly to the 805 community since he was constantly arguing with customers during my wait there.I was told alignments are usually $100.I waited for a total of 5 hours and they took advantage of my lack of knowledge on cars.I was charged for the wrong tires.Made me late for work.Overall the manager was the only guy who was genuine.

My car died today in the middle of an intersection of all places. We brought it in on a tow truck and had no clue what was wrong. Juan was a nice guy and they had it figured out within the hour. They fixed my car up and i drove away a few hours later. Great customer service Thanks guys!!

I have been meaning to do this for awhile. The staff at this location couldn't be more professional if they tried. They are always working hard and take good care of both of my cars. The prices are always fair as these guys aren't out to rip you off like my Honda dealer does. I'd bring my car to Mountain View Goodyear before anyone else.

DISHONESTY AT MOUNTAIN VIEW!!Zero stars actually. Today I went to Mountain View, Oxnard, to get an oil change and instead got scammed out of $130 for a diagnostic fee that I could have gotten done for free at AutoZone or by using an OBD reader. I told Juan the mechanic that I needed an oil change, and then asked if they can check my Check Engine Light for purpose of a smog check that afternoon. They said they were going to do the oil change and a diagnostic would have to be done for a check engine light. He would have to charge for the diagnostic ONLY if work has to be done to the car. He also said I wouldn t have to pay the $130 if I don t need any work done and they will just charge me for the oil change. I went home and got a call from Caleb when he told me that they opened the hood of the car and said that they would have to change the valve gasket and spark plugs, they could see oil coming from the gasket so they would charge $420 for the repair. I told him I would call him back, due to finances I couldn t afford it. So I called back and spoke to Juan and told him that all I need is the oil change and that s it. Three hours had passed so I called, and Caleb answered, to see if my car is ready, and he said that it been ready. I wondered why I didn t get a phone call saying that my car is ready. I went to Mountain View, Oxnard, and noticed a bill for $159.88, and I was SHOCKED! I thought, this isn t the price for an oil change, I guess they had charged also for he diagnostic, they had a receipt with my signature for the cost, but the original agreement didn t have an amount because I didn t agree to the repair with the diagnostic. I didn t want to assume the worst but something didn t add up. I explained to Caleb what had happened, Juan even said those are the exact same words that he told me, but I didn t understand. Obviously I didn t understand and that s the problem, I explained to Caleb that why would I pay $130 dollars for something that I could have done, I even explained where you can get it done for free. If I would have known that I would have been charged for that I wouldn t have agreed to it. It really seemed like they didn t care, so they charged me anyways, and Caleb made the comment See Juan you should have explained it better , right after I swiped my card. I have always had a good relationship with Mountain View but I feel like I have been swindled. I m sure this has happened to many people, myself included, that have been serviced at Mountain View, Oxnard, so consumers beware. I will not be going there again and inform the consumers of the dishonesty of Mountain View Oxnard staff. They will be reported to the BBB and Mountain View corporate office.

Whenever I have a tire issue, I bring my car in and Caleb and his team fix it FAST and correctly. They are fair and explain the issues. No high pressure from these guys.

They were the only ones open on the weekend when we were in a bind with our trailer and helped us out! They also too care of us with repairs and a recommendation for what could be changed, although later we discovered we could have gone longer before replacing. Also, when comparing prices, they were high, but loyalty because they helped us out on the weekend and the boss decided to go with them made the decision final. Lastly, Juan went above and beyond to help us find an axle ID we needed for a warranty claim. Thanks again Juan!!!

I was traveling from Utah to California to visit family. We had some serious tire issues and barely made it to my sister's house. Took my car to Mountain View and they were absolutely fantastic! They greeted me kindly and professionally, fixed my car in a timely manner, and the price couldn't be beat. They have earned my highest recommendation.

Dropped my vehicle off to get a FULL alignment from this company. If you look at the paperwork they only adjusted the toe of my vehicle didn t touch the caster or camber. They charged me full price and only did 1/4 of the work. If it s in the green we don t adjust it is what I was told by the employee. I work in the automotive industry and just because it s in the green doesn t mean it s good. The employee that did the alignment could have adjusted the caster and camber to get it more in the middle of the specified range numbers like your suppose to and not just leave it where it s at because it s shows it s in the green. Unfortunately most establishments around have this same thought process as this establishment and it s not the proper way. If I would give them no stars I would but unfortunately I have to give them at least one star

Won't be going there again.I called to make an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation, i asked about how long it would take and they said about 45min.Showed up they said it would be about a 2 hour wait! I said I had an appointment, they said ok it'll be about 1 1/2 hours. I said I was told on the phone it would be about 45 min, she went to the back for a min came back and said it would take about an hour, I agreed to that. I finally got out of there in about 1 hour and 15 min.The next morning my check tire pressure light was on. I was very annoyed seeing as I had just had a tire rotation done the day before.I stopped at the camarillo location to have them check it. Guess what.... They were pretty low. They hadn't put air in my tires!!Won't trust them again.

I've gotten tires and an oil change here. Marco has really good people skills. You can tell he really cares about the safety of his customers. I highly recommend asking for him for future oil changes or tires.

We got a nail in our tire and these guys inspected the tire and removed the nail for free and as soon as we drove up! We were there for like 5 mins, literally. Will definitely return when in need of actual service. Very friendly staff.

I needed my tired patched, and that's what I asked for but he tried to tell me it can't be patched and I need to buy a new tire. The next place I went to said it's patched able and that the they were just trying to get you to buy a tire from them! plus this place" good year" was going to charge me $20 for a tire patch but when I call ahead of time they told me it would be free. But he told me when I got there that he thought I was a small car but because I have bigger tired then expected he has to charge me. I Do NOT recommendo this place

I took my wife s car in for some air and have a tire checked. The guy who put in air was very rude and didn t want to check the low tires. He just said I needed new ones. I went across the street to America s Tire Depot and they told me the tire was fine and would need a new one in a few months. I ended up buying a new one for $225. Goodyear blew a sell. Stay clear from this ghetto place

We used to take our cars for oil change and alignment at the Ventura location and would never pay over $90. If we needed a tire to be patched it was free. Sadly the location closed up and had to look for a different location. Came to the one in oxnard and we were charged $103.00 for oil changed and we were charged $25 for patching a tire and the alignment is extra charge. In our old place we wouldn't pay over $90 for oil change, alignment and patching a tire.

Any & every time I go to Mountain View Tire in Oxnard, I know I'll get the best service! Juan & Caleb are there to greet you w/ a smile! Honest, reliable & always willing to work w/ you for what you need! I tell all my friends to go there!Thanks guys!

I typically try my hardest not to leave bad reviews. In this nasty world that we are living in today I aim to remain positive. BUT, I came to MV a little over a month ago. I had a nail in my tire and I saw they offered free tire repair. I showed up about 10 minutes before they closed. Without hesitation they repaired my tire and handed me a receipt for $0.00! Unfortunately I got another nail in the opposite tire. Remembering MV from my first experience I immediately drive back over. The gentleman assisting me checked the tire and confirmed it was in a repairable spot. Printed out the paperwork. I was about to sign and niticed there was a $25 balance. I mentioned to him it was free the first time I came. He LITERALLY told me I know, I see you didn t pay anything last time! He proceeds to tell me but it s ony $25!!!! Sorry bro... FREE IS FREE... especially if you are referencing the receipt from your services from only a month ago! Consistency is what builds good and returning clientele. I was honestly going to get my tire patched and give them my business for new breaks! But guess what.... They ruined that! Sorry not sorry!

Came in with a tire that needed balancing. Was told I should buy a new set ($800 or so) and that my tire wouldn't balance. Was on a 700 mile road trip so limped home where my local guys took care of the problem correctly for no charge.

The people were friendly but the service was awful. I was given tires I did NOT need and an oil change that was the worst I've ever received. They did not reset my mileage or give me a sticker to let me know when I needed another oil change (not even sure if they changed my oil since there is NO oil in my car only a month later). Spend your money somewhere else where they will not take advantage of you.

I went to check my brakes out. They told me I needed front brake pads and front rotors done. Back brake pads were fine they said. Total of 400 dollars. Something didnt feel right so I declined any work done. Went to another place I didnt need any rotors replaced or front brake pads done. Only back brakes for 100. What a freakin rip off these people are.

I purchased insurance for new tires i bought, and a year later 1 tires tread wore out more than the others. When I went back to ask them about the wear, the guy said that he could NOT give me another tire or discount me a new tire ... what the hell does he offer insurance on new tires for then!! Buyer beware...

Service wasn't that great. Ever since they changed the name from Goodyear to mountain view service was going downhill. And charge you sky high. It's fortunate that their business survive this long.

Not very helpful both times I've been there. 1st time I got an alignment done and felt worse afterwards. I give it a second shot and ask quotes for tires and the guy was being extremely lazy and not very helpful at all. I would avoid this place! Not recommended!

We went there and couldn't ask for better service. They were on point took care of my BMW and performed great warranty service I would recommend this company anytime you guys are a gem and we will use them next time when we need them.

So far so good. They seemed to know what they're talking about. I'm awaiting the repairs now and was pleasently surprised at the good clear communication and quotes I received. It should be done in about an hr so I'll let you know how it goes!

I was really happy with the customer service and the work done on my car. And they went out of their way to drive me home and pick me up when it was done. You can't ask for any more than that. Thank you good year I appreciate you guys
