I made an appointment with this shop to have my car throughly inspected, due to me barely purchasing the vehicle. When I arrived at the shop I explained to the service representative Martin that my car needed brakes, tires, filters, and brake fluid exchanged. I also explained to him that the car had a check engine light on and if possible to go ahead and fix the issue. I took my car at 8am and car wasn t don t until 3:43pm. When I got to the shop Martin immediately ran to go work on the cars telling the lady at the front office (who doesn t even know nothing about cars) just have him sign and he s all done mind you they didn t explain to me what they did to the vehicle. I had to be the one to ask what they did to my car and when I ask the lady in the front she had this blank face on like she didn t know what she was talking about. When I leaving the facility I still saw the check engine light was on, when I had explained to Martin that is what need to be fixed in the first place and I even showed him photos of the codes of the car. At the end the lady in the front just told me oh umm there s nothing we could do for you on that end. If you want it done you have to do it yourself. So pretty much waited 6 to 7 hours to have only 2 rear tires replaced. I highly don t recommend this shop to anybody who wants to take care of their vehicle.

If only i can put zero star or negative star, the lady in the front desk does not seems like she knows what shes doing, no explaination so what so ever, after getting my alignment in this location they didnt even give me a copy of the alignment result thinking they probably didnt even do it at all, i was like where the copy of the alignment paper and shes like ahh huh ahh mumbling and say oh our printer doesnt work, so how the hell did you print out the rest of the paper? Duh!!! And they cant even align this swing arm before finalizing it bad location need replace the people or whos running it

RICK AND HIS ASSOCIATE GAVE MY VEHICLE TO THE WRONG PERSON!I left my fleet work van here 3 weeks ago. After 3 weeks they finally told me I could pick up my vehicle. Arriving a female receptionist handed me the wrong car key 3 different times. She could not locate my paper work. She handed me a bucket of keys telling me to pick one. Rick stepped in to assist but even he gave me the wrong key and told me van was in the back. When I looked they had given me a vehicle that belonged to a different company. I told them it wasn't my van and refused to take. Rick and the female then stated some one from my company had already picked up my vehicle which no one from my company even knew my vehicle was in the shop let alone which shop. Plus if some one from my company picked up my vehicle why were they giving me a vehicle from a different company? Turned out they gave me vehicle to the wrong person and it took several days track my vehicle down. When I finally received it items were missing. I am still in shock that this happened what was the most shocking Rick and his associate were unphased. Not once did anyone apologize. They didn't seem concerned the slightest. In fact they said maybe I was the one who was misinformed of the where abouts of my vehicle. Furthermore they didnt even fix the problem with my work van. I was driving a rental for nearly a month. STRONGLY suggest avoiding this place. I wish I could rate with negative stars.

The main person helping me, Martin, worked well with me and my budget. He was friendly and very understanding. Definitely recommend him to any family member.

Great service. The girl at the front counter was very communicative. Called me when my car was ready. I was not able to pick up right away so they just stored the car for the next day. Prices were better than other local places I called. I have used them several times in the past and will continue to.

I got my car here because the company card had a bad battery. I explain that I was 99% sure was just the battery and explain the reasons. After one hour of waiting I ask the front desk guy if was going to take too long to check because is just a battery check and replacement. He and the other lady at front was just sitting down not doing nothing. So he told me that my car was next if took to long he was going to do it himself.So I keep waiting and they just talking not doing nothing again lol. Than he start to eat a apple lol.Than over a hour of waiting he decided to connect the battery with the hand computer. Took him 2 minutes and than he inform me that the battery was bad and they were going to replace.No respect!

Very bad customer service. They ignore you, you have to wait 15 minutes so they can service you. Waited 3 hrs for tires. In the mean time they are eating, talking. Very unprofessional. Did not even said when tire mounts were done! We had to ask if done and remove jack from our vehicle. Do not recommend!!Service: TiresService: Tires

Horrible service. I took the car for a diagnostic, rotation and oil change left it midday told me they will call me when done . I was expecting a call before closing nothing. The next day I went and saw my car in the back 24hours later ! and they had the audacity to say it still needs rotation! Meanwhile having other cars coming in and leaving in with same services . I felt very discriminated. Talked to other people stating the same thing take too long ,take advantage they fool around.Never coming back !horrible !Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Oil change

Came in for an alignment on my truck at 1135 they had it on the rack by 1150 truck finished 1215 . Quick , and great service today. Good job guys ! Well earned review

Great if you only need tire deals. Had fuel injection cleaning done but they didn't replace fuel filter. Had shock/spring work done that labor costs was $700. After car off rack only then did they tell me that I needed control arm bushing replaced. That would have been another $700+ in labor costs.

suddenly now they cant tell me what the van is scheduled to have for service. 10+ years of servicing my work vehicle there, they have been able to. he just wouldnt do it.i tell her my number,she looks at the van in my record, and say its due for this and that, and it will be about this much time. I need to know for scheduling whether it's going to be 1 hour or 3 hours.

Terrible Management!!! I went it for a simple flat fix just after 8 AM opening time. I was told they would not do my flat because they re too busy but there was nobody around! Never have received such blatant disregard for my needs, hardly glanced my way while telling me I was on my own. I only came here because it was open an hour earlier than others. This places reputation precedes it and I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. Literally anywhere else, Big Brand Tire, Av Tire, even Brakemasters are better than these chumps.

Unless you have all day, and I mean ALL OF THE DAY, avoid this place. Their service takes unbelievably long, and it is not because there is lots of customers. The staff can be seen fooling around through the glass, and doing just about everything aside from working on your car.I didn t even address this with the manager but still got a rude attitude on my way out. Doesn t matter how early you show up, I ve tried. The service will be horrible.

I went because amazingly I was able to get an appointment on short notice on a Saturday afternoon.I arrived early for my appointment, 1:40 PM for a 2 PM appointment, and I expected a little wait.I was pretty surprised that at 2:30 PM my car was still where I parked it. About 2:40 PM my car was moved inside to be worked on.It took about an hour to do.They checked me in under a different customer, same last name but different first name, address and phone number, see picture, which I blocked the address and phone number for safety.Not sure if it was just a bad day for them or this is typical. I need another alignment on my other vehicle and the price is good, just will try to give it another shot and see.

Have only come to this placeIl to purchase car batteries. The carry interstate batteries which in my opinion are the best. But I do notice they treat people and are really nice especially with elderly customers. They are patient and polite to all customers and acknowledge you as you walk in. I'm not sure about the quality of their work is but if your looking good customer service this is the place for you.

They have been great every time we get our van serviced. The tires we bought were reasonably priced, the credit line approval process was easy, and they fixed our brakes that used to shake our vehicle all over the place. I even brought my mother-in-law to get new tires on her vehicle.

I took my 2016 Honda Accord there because the Ventura store was temporarily closed. I needed routine service and low tire light was on. On inspection they told me I needed a new tire. While they were able to get the tire right away when I left the station my tire light was still on. I turned around to tell them and the guy who was working on my car seemed bothered and said I just need to drive it and it will reset after 20 miles. So a week later it s still on. I called and they said I have to bring it back to reset. Thank god for YouTube. He could have easily reset it for me he just didn t want to help

Went the first time to get a quote for 2 tires and I got quoted $900 dollars. Returned the next day and payed $600... sketchy.

The customer service is amazing. Dropped off my car and got it back the same day. Took it again for an inspection because my breaks were making a clicking sound and they helped me out with that. Laura (I believe that is her name) was on top of things. She let me know what was wrong with my vehicle in a very detailed way. Thank you all! You guys keep my car at its best.

Very bad experience. Went for AC service inspection and gave me an hour estimate time(After waiting 20 mins).I was waiting for some response and never got any response within an hour. So, I asked and they told me that they are working. It took more than 2 hours and 30 mins to pay for inspection. They told me that they will provide my car within 2 mins and took more than 15 mins.They give estimate time for an hour and took almost 3 hours. (Without any apologies):( :(Also, AC recharge cost is more than double compare to other mechanics. (They are giving warranty too.)

I used to bring my classic Mercedes convertible here for alignments, and I had a catalytic converter replaced, once. They've always been inexpensive, reasonably fast, and the work was reliable.Yesterday we had rear shocks on the spouse's car replaced, and there was a bad rattling/clunking noise after the car was picked up. Car went back in, and it got resolved, but no 'woops, sorry', just shrugging and blaming phantoms. I watched the mechanic, and it was clear something was left loose that should have been attached. I'd have felt better if they'd been honest. Mistakes happen, it's not the end of the world.

I'm not really sure why Firestone Auto Care in Oxnard has only 3 stars on Google. I was in last Friday and I found the tire service at this location to be fast, friendly and affordable. With no appointment I walked in and spoke to Gaby. Gaby was friendly, helpful and was able to get me back on the road in no time. I was also excited to hear that this location does auto repair as well since I am currently in the market for finding a new auto shop.

I guess the pandemic is over.I typically go to Valvoline, where I can stay in my car, but I had to go to a Firestone because I was in a rental car that needed an oil change.The staff was friendly enough m, and masked when in the lobby, but ripped their masks off or down as soon as they entered the bay. No biggie, while that may not be company policy, it doesn't impact me much if they choose to congregate in a group in close proximity maskless.It DOES impact me that the technician handling my car, getting in the driver's seat 3 times had NO MASK.I watched him back my car out of the bay and immediately get out of my car and walk back to the bay, nothing in hand but my keys.My keys were immediately returned to me.When I asked what m COVID policies they were following I was told "they carry a little bottle they spray areas they've touched when they are done."Well. No. They don't. And they raw dogged the air all over the front of my car. Looking back I should've taken the risk of swapping cars out at Enterprise, at least they cover their faces when in the cars, and clean it before handing it over to me.

They managed to do an alignment as expected. I wouldnt expect them to do much more. They didn't realize what it would take to do rear brakes on a truck. Being a legitimate business in this field of work some general knowledge would have made more sense. Wouldn't recommend using this business.

Didn't even get as far as purchasing the tires. Made an appointment online to bring a Nissan Altima in after getting a quote on the website for an "out the door" price. Right off the bat the front of shop guy tries to up-sell for an alignment that the Nissan dealership had not recommended. Next he quotes a price just for the tires and installation at $30 more than the online quote I had received. When I let him know he says with attitude, "You want me to just sell you the tires and you can take them home and install them yourself?"The website actually says to make sure to print and bring in your quote to receive that price. I guess it's to make sure unscrupulous individual shops don't try to rip you off link this one did me.Needless to say I left. Taking my business back to the Nissan dealership where they actually understand customer service.
