I chose Oroville Motors based off of review, and they did not disappoint. My whole experience was great. Every time I called and talked to Ray he was so kind and understanding. He would even wait for me after they were closed when I didn t get off work in time. He only charged for aftermarket parts yet put OEM parts on my vehicle and absorbed the rest of the cost. They put so much care into fixing my bumper. You can tell they re in this business because they truly care about their customers and their vehicles.

Having been a Diligent person to have our Subaru serviced at the prescribed milage times i thought the car was being taken care of in Chico WRONG. 100,000 mileage check i decided to go local instead of the car dealership in Chico because they planned to move further north. Best decision ever. Oroville Motors (Ray) transformed my 2016 Subaru Outback to almost New specs. Don't know what was done before because I believed they did the work BUT Ray's team made my car better than NEW!! My new go to place in Oroville!! When I looked under the hood DID NOT RECOGNIZE WHAT I saw. You get what you pay for...

As a young woman it's so hard to find a mechanic that I can 100% trust. Ray at Oroville Motors took AMAZING care of me these last few weeks. I had some really intense work done on my car and he explained every last thing, and even took me into the shop to show me what work he had done. When some similar problems popped up I just gave him a call and he told me to come in right away to get it looked at. He's a super friendly guy and the prices are always laid out right in front of you. He explained the process, each charge, and worked with my schedule to get things done quickly. I can't recommend Oroville Motors enough!

This place is amazing! I previously went to get my AC recharged and they walked me through the entire process from start to finish. Today I brought my father in law in to get his AC recharged and they noticed something was off and discovered the condenser was cracked, something others would ve not noticed. Within 2 hours they had the condenser replaced and the AC recharged and running. They also fixed my front valance on the car. I love coming here and the great service that is received!Service: Air conditioning

Best auto shop! I stumbled upon them from a quick map search as I m new to the area. Called with an issue I was having and they said to bring it in when I could and they would see if they could help. Brought it in at 10am on a Wednesday, he had it diagnosed in 5min. Told me he could have it done that day too. Even followed me home so I could take my kids home, and he drove the truck back to the shop to work on it. Finished in under 4 hours, and drove my truck back to me! Absolutely the nicest staff. Couldn t have been more pleased with my service. I wouldn t know if I was over charged or paid the correct amount since I don t know a thing about cars, but I was happy with my estimate and ending price, especially for as fast as they got it done and not having to organize a ride or sit in a shop all day with 2 kids. I ll be coming back with any vehicle issue in the future.Service: Air conditioning

This is a small business, but many times that is the best. I have used Oroville Motors for 17 years. The reason why is because they are good mechanics and very honest. When they service your car, they are not just changing the oil, but making sure your car has no problems starting. They also provide good body work. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Ray is amazing. Very trustworthy and helpful. During the Bear Fire he opened his shop to help my son with his check engine light. I had my car towed in to Oroville motors not really sure why it wasn't starting but knew it was something to do with the battery. I expected them to completely fix the problem. Within a couple hours they said they had it running by switching the battery terminals and copper lugs. Which is around $6 each. Then charged me $90 for labor! After he told me he would give me the best deal. I was able to drive again and made two stops. Then as I was driving home the car started shutting down imedietly. I called, Stuck on the side of the road, and They said there's nothing they can do. The issue was my alternator which I told them to fix and was willing to pay but they told me they couldn't fix the alternator making up an excuse saying the aftermarket alarm is in the way. But my friend (not a license mechanic) fix it within 20 minutes. These people will smile in your face but they don't care about you and your car, they just want your money!

Was worst experience owner is rude wouldnt give me invoice had good mechanic wprking on my A.C. he pulled him off thrn told us we were done i dont recommend this placeis rude wouldn't give me invoice s as id he doesnt do that had good mechanics working on my car he pulled him off told us we were done . Being a woman in need of car repair can be needless to say frightening...Especially if you are from out of the area. Thankfully on the recommendation of a friend, I took my Subaru to Oroville Motors. The Carpenter's are the best and I am so thankful they took the time to listen. My problem was solved with experienced eye and minimal expense. Thank you so much from Oregon!

I went to Oroville Motors to get my oil changed and to get an engine light that was on. The person at OM (Forgot his name) was great. He checked why my light was on, and worked with me on how to get it off and get it smogged. On his advice the car is now smogged and running great. Between the oil change (Full Synth. on European car) and diag test I'm only out a min amount of money (which could have been MUCH more). Hats off to Oroville Motors.

The owner is just about as good as they come even though he is booked out 3 weeks he still came out and put the code reader on my car to diagnose my problem he is truly amazing thanks again for your help at no cost to me
