Great job from Scotty's. My car was having trouble starting. Went to an auto parts store and tested my battery, they said my alternator was bad. Went to Scotty's who ran a real diagnostic and the alternator was fine, it was the battery! (don't trust the parts store!) Got a new battery and they only charged me for the battery and install. Honesty like this is how you make loyal customers. They have all my business now. SHOP LOCAL!!

Scotty's is the best. So honest and trustworthy. My wife just had a maintenance service done with a battery replacement. When she got home I noticed that the battery hadn't been replaced but we were charged for it. She called up Scotty's just when they were closing and they said bring it back over. Nick stayed after hours and performed the battery swap.

Scotty's Automotive repaired my truck that has 384,000 miles. They are honest on what needs to be fixed and stick by there estimate. There mechanics do high quality work. I have been ripped off at other shops in the area. When I told my neighbor where My truck was they said your in good hands. A 96 year old person I know referred me to Scotty's and said she has been going to them for years and always been satisfied with their work.Thanks again Ricky BServices: General repairs & maintenance, Auto maintenance

Scotty's has been our go-to repair shop for years. They've given us honest assessments of repairs our cars really need. Unlike many other shops Scotty's doesn't try to upsell us into unnecessary work

I've had great experience with Scotty's. About a year and a half ago I had them replace my engine and transmission in my 98 silverado, and when I had an issue with the transmission after that they fixed it under warranty with no hassle from me. Ill def continue to take my vehicles here for the foreseeable future.

A guy at Midas told me that I needed to get my transmission fluid changed because I was due for it. well I took it into Scotty's automotive and had them look at that plus a couple other things that were needing to be done. Turns out my transmission fluid was fine and the other place just wanted to charge me 200 bucks for nothing. Scotty's gave me a list of everything that was actually wrong with my car and just let me know that when I get the money for it I can get them done. Didn't pressure me to do anything, they didn't talk down to me just because I'm a woman. Very much appreciated it. Guys inside were all friendly.Services: Auto brake repair, Vehicle Inspection

The work these guys do is good and they were straightforward with me at first when it came to the job. I had a budget that I indicated when more work needed to be done, but they went forward and exceeded the budget without running it by me first. I paid at the end of it because the work was needed, but I felt a bit sleuthed into paying the full price which was hundreds of dollars above what I wanted to spend.

I asked for a quote for work I wanted done they provided a quote and I was fine with the price. I proceeded to drop the vehicle off and let them work on it.I wanted new hardware on my parking break and replace the rear calipers and bearings. As well as inspect the cable for the parking break.The work they did consisted of replacing the rear calipers and lubrication of the moving parts in the parking break.So needless to say I don't have new bearings in my truck when it was part of what they needed to do to access the parking breaks. Not happy with them at all in the future now I have to pay for extra work to replace my rear bearings when it should have been done right the first time. The axel should have been removed to access the parking break. If they didn't have a mechanic capable of preforming the work or the tool necessary to remove the axel they should have said so and I could have taken it somewhere that would have performed the work I requested. I also asked for the old parts to be returned to me and they did not do that either.

Amazing service. Very knowledgeable very friendly and they got me back on the road faster than I expected. I found a new shop for my vehicles and I will be going to Scotty's for all my automotive needs. Ask for Abe, he knows cars and won't steer you wrong.

Fair prices and good worker's. Had an estimate of alot more from other places to do a complete suspension overhaul on a Lincoln ls sport V8. They did it for $3200. Came out great. Ride is like new, maybe better. It's been a year ago and never had to touch a thing since it was done...good job guy's Had a serpentine belt put on $105 for about half of the cost that a couple other places wanted. Was done by 11AM, dropped it off at 9 am. With an appointment. Brought my own belt and had to sign no warranty on product or damage that may occur. Had the belt for over 6 months with no receipt to take it back.

I have been taking my vehicles to Scotty's since 1991 through a referral from my neighbor. Scotty's is a well run shop with excellent customer service and integrity. They stand behind their warranties and do great work! Scotty's Automotive is honest, capable, timely, and trustworthy. What more do you want?I took my truck to Scotty's to get it resurrected from years of neglect. Their willingness to evaluate whether or not the work would be worthwhile plus their ability to estimate accurately the cost of repairs has been both impressive and gratifying. I very much appreciate their work ethic, attention to detail, and their follow-through.

These guys are amazing!!! We have 4 vehicles they always give us an accurate estimate and have actually charged less ( who does that) Top notch mechanics and great referrals to other shops if they can't do the work.

After having my truck serviced at Ford Automall for years and paying high rates with bad service, we decided it was time to search for a new shop. We found the reviews for Scottys automotive very high. So we had to give them a try. After they corrected several issues with my truck, we found them to be a shop with high integrity, fair and great customer service. We have found a new super awesome shop to take our cars to.

The guys at Scotty's don't miss a trick - they had everything diagnosed and/or fixed, and when my back brakes didn't work out perfectly after they fixed them, they honored the guarantee and replaced them free of charge without an argument. Even fixed a simple problem I had with my drivers' side window. I've been a car owner for 30 years and have gotten jobbed by mechanics many times so I know the difference - if you're looking for one of the "good ones" - you don't get any better than the guys at Scotty's, and I'm serious about that. As long as I live in the area, my cars go here.
