Since moving to Orangevale a few years ago, I've enjoyed shopping at Carquest Auto Parts more than other similar auto parts stores, here's why:(1) Super friendly staff. Other auto parts stores employees have frequently come off as arrogant or uninterested in helping me. Not so with Carquest. A smile and greeting after walking in the door is common, as well as an eagerness to help. On the rare occasion when they didn't have what I needed or were unable to help, they expressed their regret in a nice way and did what they could to be helpful regardless.(2) Rewards program. The rewards program is helpful not only for building points toward dollar credit rewards, but also toward Fuel discounts at gas stations. Every bit helps these days!(3) Loaner Tools: They have a vast assortment of loaner tools, from torque wrenches to ball joint tools. There's no need to buy (and store) tools that you'll use once or twice in your lifetime when you can rent them very easily.(4) The store is clean, organized, and easy to find stuff up front, while there is also a good assortment of stuff behind the counter which the staff is happy to help find for you.(5) Easy to use website listing the full inventory of Carquest / Advance Auto parts. You can also call your local store in advance and request parts be ordered so you can come pick them up. Very useful!Well, I am happy with Carquest. Thank you for your great service now and hope to be able to work with you for years to come!

Kelly greeted me as soon I stepped in the door, was knowledgeable and helped me right away. Nice change in staff recently. The older guys were always so grumpy and overwhelmed. This is the Fee Dr. location in Sacramento.

Update:Electronic components no matter how big or small cannot be returned if installed. Purchased part of ignition switch. Went home and discovered that my car a cylinder instead of the switch. So went back to the store and they would not exchange or credit it to new parts. It definitely one of those clerk calls and they decided to stick to the letter of policy so I can t be upset at them for that but I ll definitely remember that when I m considering buying parts from Carquest again.It was really very nice to see an old school auto parts store where machine shop services are still offered but they are not on site.

I ve switched from other auto parts stores to carquest for my reliable parts. I had one faulty ignition coil issue that was resolved with no problems. Thanks Xian for all your help

Been here twice in the past week as they have some obscure VW parts that I've needed that no one else stocks, or even knows what I'm talking about. Employees are very knowledgeable and polite. Even if they don't have a certain item they can get it in a day. Prices are great and they were open on Labor Day. Guys might be my new go to parts store from now on.

Okay place to get parts but make sure to know your details of your vehicle before arriving. One clerk was annoying in that they were answering the phone while customers were at the register and had to engage in conversation with all customers visiting the store.

This is the go to auto parts store in this area. Always willing to go above and beyond for their customers. Had to pull out the books for me today and do some digging to find me a sensor with slightly different specs than the OEM one. Much appreciated . The near by so called competition (shares it's name with popular pompus city in CA's wine country) said all they could do was give the part that is specific to my vehicle.Didn't even attempt to help me. Not sure why I even went there in the first place, I know better.Any way, don't waste your time with unhelpful others in the area. Just go to Car Quest first, they will get you what you need for sure.

Internet said they had part in stock drove 30 min to find out they didn't and don't do battery install even though they advertised it for that location .

It's a great place to work with a knowledgeable helpful staff. We habe return customers who are like family because they habe been coming here since they we're small children with there fathers!

ScamThey sell D2s and D2r headlight bulbs for over $100, each, and downsell another brand for $65 each. For bulbs I get a pair for on Amazon for $10. But if you take your car to a mechanic, the mechanic charges $110 for labor, and doubles the price in parts. So to change a pair of $5 bulbs will cost well over $300. Carqest, Autizine, and other suppliers are all involved in this scam.March 2020Lowest cost full synthetic motor oil I have found for $30 for 5 quats.I've been getting the marine supplies for my boat here: gearbox oil, marine grease, 10w40 full synthetic for engine, polishing compound...Guidepost.us

I have a 03' jetta 1.8t and parts are a B!�C# to find but here at car quest is always able to get them in stock if not the same day, within 4 days of order.
