Autocraft really helped me out today. Had a power steering leak +. They squeezed me in and even waited past closing so I could pick up my vehicle. Very happy with their service. Thanks guys

I have been going to Auto craft for the last eleven and a half years for any repair work I need on my '79 GMC pickup that I bought in November of 2007. They have always done excellent work and a more forthright bunch of guys, particularly the owner, Ron, you won't find anywhere.I just had the truck completely overhauled...as I told them to go over the truck from stem to stern and to do everything that was needed. Given the price of new trucks currently and that even a used truck as much as ten years old , if it has been well maintained, still costs a small fortune, as I am retired and live on a fixed income I decided it was the best thing I could do.It took them a week, and they told me that it would take at least that much time, and when I did get it back and drove it...I was stunned. It drives like a dream. The repair bill wasn't inexpensive, it cost just under $5k,, but it's running as good as any used truck 40 years old might be dreamed of so running and I figure I'm good for many more years on the road with it.You can trust this shop to do what is necessary and if they tell you something needs to be done, then trust them, They are a better repair facility than any of the local dealerships I've dealt with and I've bought a few new cars locally in my time. I had a bad experience with every one of those dealerships regarding repairs. Autocraft is not inexpensive but if you want the best mechanics and peace of mind when you're on the road...which is priceless... then this is the shop your want for maintenance and repair work.Kudos, Ron. to you and your staff. You, once again, have amazed me. It's running like a champ and it's a joy to drive my pickup truck.

They are so courteous, and prompt. My family has been going to Autocraft for years. They explain what the issue is, they don't price gouge. Always happy with their services. 10/10

Had to finally write a review for these guys. I've been very happy with them. I know having older cars worked on isn't any fun to deal with but I truly trust these guys. Eric, has helped me with both my volkswagen and my dodge and been great to work with.I've had one experience prior where my cars coolant system broke in a few spots a day before a vacation we had planned and they got our car right in and out within a reasonable price and saved us hundreds on a rental car I would have had to purchase.This time, my water pump exploded and the car was in and out just as fast as the last time. And anyone who knows small cars like this knows that's not an easy job. Nick did a fantastic job.Thanks Autocraft as well as Eric and Nick. Keep doing what you do.

We have been taking our cars to Autocraft for years. We trust the work that they do and know that they are only going to recommend services our cars really need.I have been encouraging my Mom to go to them for years. She wanted to stick with a mechanic closer to her home, but had grown concerned that they weren't always doing what they said they would do. Her van continued to have issues, but they always convinced her it was okay.This week my Mom switched to Autocraft and she is absolutely thrilled with her van again. They took care of every issue and brought peace of mind to my Mom and me.I had 100% confidence that Autocraft would repair my Mom's van in a short time, at a fair price and would only do what was necessary to have a well running vehicle again.Thanks again Autocraft for peace of mind! I was referred to this place several years ago when I was having issues smogging my Prelude. I found them to do great work, and have all my major vehicle repairs done at AUTOCRAFT. They have always given me great service. Always clearly explaining any mechanic issues I have, letting me know all my options and state the costs of any expense. I trust their opinion and have recommended them to friends.

How wonderful to find really honest, really competent people. For many years I have had a great opportunity of taking our family's cars and vans to Ron, the owner, and Jeremy and Roy and others. Such delightful people and such high skill and experience.I simply cannot speak too highly of what a remarkable find AutoCraft is. I urge you to go there even if it's a little farther than some other place. By the way, other trades people in town, such as the owner of a smog testing shop, have commented to me on how unusually honest Ron is.

These people I wouldn't take my vehicle to ever I warn you people to not to because they have Dave from Folsom auto services that basically I wouldn't let my own friends and family to to or tell about because I thought this shop would be good but to find out that they have the same person from both shops makes me not trust shops like I used to hope this helps someone I will say that if someone tells you something that you feel isn't truthful like you have a bad engine when it might be a flexplate or something else I would go with my gut feeling make sure to ask questions and make sure price and parts are high quality for the price don't cheap out when its your transportation just be for warned ok about these kinds of shops like this one

Our family has been going to Autocraft for over 25 years. From oil changes to major repairs, they are great. We have owned Swedish cars, American cars, Japanese cars, German cars... they are all safe and well cared for here. The customer service is above and beyond. Eric even left the office to come jump start my car when my battery died! It is the kind of personal service you can rely on, and the staff feel like friends. We have moved out of Orangevale but still make the drive to Autocraft because we trust them, and know our cars will be in good hands.

I have known about AutoCraft for years, finally went today for the first time! Great service and work was done in a timely manner. Their communication on estimated timing, pricing etc was accurate as well. Office staff and owner are very personable and professional. I would recommend AutoCraft and return for additional service!

I really like these guys. They are extremely honest and never do any more work or suggest parts that are not needed. They really helped me with my smog certification and repair and were extremely helpful when my son needed his smog and potential repair but, due to Eric's kind suggestion of making sure we drove the truck around in the morning before arriving to the shop(after me sharing what was going on as sometimes it's just this simple in order to pass) and said a lot of other things involving this process but, it went over my head lol. The other staff members are just as helpful and friendly(and quite funny I might add). The owner Ron is always going out of his way to accommodate customers from what I have seen and experienced. Once I was waiting on an oil change and overheard a conversation between Ron and a client that involved payment for a service and I was so impressed how kind Ron was to this gentleman in solving this customers embarrassing financial situation....I will always recommend them and continue to trust them for all my SUV's repairs and maintenance..

Looking for GOOD, honest mechanics? I have been going to AUTOCRAFT SMOGfor 13 years now, and never had any issues with the staff of AUTOCRAFT. THIS place is the only place I can walk in, with no appointment (@9a.m.), and sit back and not have to worry about the $$. $$price. I'm hooked!!!! If you're pressed for time, tell them and they will be done smog testing in �15 minutes.YEAH MAN, and you are driving down the road with a smile on your face.

We had a really bad experience with these guys.We took our car in thinking it was probably the CV Joint. The guy at the counter asked us if it sounded like a clicking and mouthed it. We said yes it sounds like that. He then said that was probably what it was but sometimes the sound bounces so it could be another wheel and they would check it out. We said great.My wife picks it up and they say that they were really surprised she heard anything and that the part wasn't very worn at all. She thought it was weird but she said OK and left.The next day the sound was still happening just as loud. She took it back. They diagnosed it and said it was the bearing. So my wife asked if we could get our money back from the part (the CV Joint) that didn't need to be replace. No, we could not because we "diagnosed it" and wanted that part changed. The guy was very argumentative and rude. After threatening to turn him in to the BBB he finally wound up giving a discount on changing the bearing but not the CV joint. We still paid $400 total to have a wheel bearing replaced!We will never go back!

We have been using Autocraft in Orangevale, California since we move to Folsom in 2012. They have provided excellent service and reliable repairs for both of our vehicles. We use Autocraft exclusively for our vehicle maintenance and repair.

Autocraft is now my new go-to mechanic after they were able to beat previous mechanic by almost 25% on a big job. They were also super friendly and helpful and seemed very open and honest about everything.

At first I thought these folks where going to be good. But after not being able to find the problem and reaching my limit of 400.o they gave me back my car without telling me they did not put it back together. So after driving it for 3 days the crank shaft pulley fell off.

This place is great! Fast, knowledgeable, and friendly. They did the timing belt and cam seals on my Tacoma and saved me a bunch of time and money.
