I recently had the pleasure of visiting Ubersport, and I can't praise it enough. My husband and I have a 2014 WRX and, unfortunately, during new tire installation, a wheel stud was broken. I called Ubersport and talked to Kelly, who was so kind, patient, and very knowledgeable and was able to squeeze us in during the very busy thanksgiving holiday week, which was a huge relief! Once we were at the shop and the new stud was replaced, actually, all five needed to be replaced on that hub, Kevin also advised us on some other things that were needed to be done. Kevin was also so very kind, patient, super knowledgeable and took the time to explain, without judgement why some things needed replacing and/or work. The price quoted on the phone was honored and very fair. We will absolutely go back to Ubersport for anything our WRX needs in the future. I am so grateful we found Kevin, Kelly and Ubersport!

Ubersport Performance is my go to place for any work my Subaru. Kevin and Kelly did a great job on the engine rebuild and upgrade for my 2012 Legacy GT. They followed with a nice tune and coil pack replacement. Just had work done to my 05 Sti, specifically the turbo inlet replaced. Price was fair and reasonable. The work was done in a timely manner. Kevin was very helpful, professional, and knowledgeable, as well as the tech who handled my vehicle. They gave me advice and brought to my attention things that should be addressed. Will definitely come back for all my Subaru needs. Great job guys!

I've taken my WRX to this shop since it went out of dealer warranty. I've been very pleased with the quality and level of service. They also helped increase the power and performance of my vehicle without violating state and local laws.

Kevin, Kelli, and the crew are very cool and will take the time to explain anything you have questions about. Even talked me out of upgrades that are not necessary and will tell you pros and cons.Came in initially for a vacuum leak and they have a smoke machine to isolate the issue.After further review turns out there is indication that the head gasket started to leak, and they showed me every indication which I was prepared to do this work at some point ('05 WRX by the way).Did not gouge on the labor and took their time cleaning components and stayed in communication with progress. Engine looks and run likes new. Also got a new clutch while they had the engine out.Small garage but worth the wait to get an appointment.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Oil change

Ask them why they closed down garage tuning and changed their name in 2012 , Kevin the owner is fraud , scam artist , only keeps to his word when pressured legally . Scammed me out of a transmission rebuild , stealing parts and money and a year of my time .

175,000 Mile Update:To me, a good repair shop is one that can keep an old car running. After my car consistently overheated and persistently misfired and my regular mechanic could not fix the problem, Kelly & Kevin brought new life to my 2006 Outback and it now runs great. Although my car ended up needing several repairs including new heads and a catalytic converter, their estimates were reasonable and accurate and, most importantly, they stood behind their work until my car ran perfectly, as it still does today about 2,000 miles after the repairs. They even helped me find a Smog Check place nearby that I used after the repairs. Of course, I recommend them highly and won t trust my car to anyone else.

Kelly was very helpful and everyone was very kind. Took my BRZ to get a check engine light checked out and was told I d need a new catalytic converter from another mechanic. Turns out I just had an exhaust leak which the guys over at Ubersports were able to fix. Where do I start. Kelly and Kevin seem very passionate about what they do. It shows in there integrity and craftsmanship. They did a Subaru engine swap in my 1988 Vanagon. The price they quoted was very fair and transparent. There was some extra work needed and the extra charges were very fair. They invited me down to the shop many times to show there progress. I always felt confident I had made the right decision having them work on my car. When my wife and I test drove our van it exceeded both of our expectations. My wife had tears of joy in her eyes. This is the best and only shop to take your subie to in SoCal, they helped me remedy a major engine issue from a previous owner and are very knowledgeable in all things Subaru. I am very happy with me experiences at Ubersport.They have performed a good amount of work on my WRX with good results. They have reasonable pricing.They installed my Koyo Radiator, Grimmspeed radiator shroud, hood scoop block off. And they set me up with a custom oil cooler with Setrab core, custom lines and AN fittings, and Setrab sandwich adapter which helped tremendously.These guys are honest and their work is top notch. I called in and spoke with Kelly. I just asked for advice and he was very helpful and gave me enough advice to get me started to attempt to fix my vehicles issue in my own. It was a quick and pleasant call. I'll definitely be coming here in the future should I need them!

This is well over due review my name is angel I just bought a 2002subaru impreza bueye, unknowing what problems it carried. From a blown head gasket,, worn down. These guys know cars, and they especially know Subarus. They have honest, fair pricing and are willing to work with the customer's budget. Whether you want to get a performance tune or just get your grocery hauler fixed on, I'd recommend them (I've done both of those things)

Had a short throw shifter installed on my STI from here. The guys here are very knowledgeable, very honest, and really down to earth. Install was clean and done properly. I believe they work on all subarus and would recommend their work to anyone.

Great service and amazing work. Call and ask for Kevin, he will take care of you. Was able to replace the engine off my 09 WRX for $4000 when other shops were charging me $6000+.

If I could give ZERO STARS I would!!! What an absolute joke. I have spent 2 motor builds with this shop and have sent them sevwral builds that have all failed. Not only is their level of work and competency below unsatisfactory, they steal their customers parts and hard earned money. I stood by this shop originally after a referral from a trusted friend who has since been screwed over by them as well. Every car I've sent their way has had to go to other shops to fix numerous issues.My motor had to come out again after my head studs were not properly torqued and two different head gasket thicknesses from two different companies were used. They ruined 2 clutch jobs and said that they'd cover it if I brought it back to them. After 2 failed attempts I chose not to. They assured me that they'd pay for half of the job done by the other shop which fixed it. When I first picked up the car there were so many things wrong! Missing bolts in the transmission, intake manifold bolts finger tight, turbo oil line kinked and the list goes on!I'm writing the review today because of the way Kelly (the business owner) handled the most recent situation. I let bygones be bygones for all of the terrible work done and simply wanted my other set of Manley 9.8:1 compression pistons returned to me. He told me that unfortunately he could not find them in the shop but he can't vouch for his employees (pretty much saying that if they stole my pistons then it's not his responsibility).If this review saves one person from getting robbed and screwed over by this shop then my job is done. This is an attempt to save paying customers the heartache of thinking that this shop will be able to accomplish anything paid for. I have never been one to bash any shop but if nobody ever reprimands them for this type of behavior, then they will continue to ruin people's cars and wallets.Save yourself the trouble and AVOID THIS SHOP at all costs!!!

They have a big yard full of Subaru s of all kinds, they re actually specialists. Unlike most shops that pretend to specialize in a particular brand, these guys really are authentic.This is the place to go if your car is out of warranty and needs repair

I recently purchased a used fa20dit motor from them to replace my motor that had threw a rod through the block and i was very happy with all the service and knowledge Kelly and Kevin had. They were both very helpful and friendly.

Appreciate that they found details in engine that would have caused damage later but not showing up yet. Minor part replacement solved problems before they happened.
