Came here to have a MillerCat shield installed on my Tacoma. Andy was friendly and had my truck done at the time he said he would. Great pricing and great service. Will be bringing him all my cars for routine maintenance and repairs to Socal Motor Works.

'07 Prius catalytic converter anti-theft shield purchased and installed here. Lowest price I found, out of several other shops offering the same service. Recommended new exhaust bushings, which made sense, being 14 year old rubber. Andy called me back later on to let me know the parts had arrived. He installed them free of charge. Then I noticed the catalytic converter was hitting the shield, so I took it back to have him look at it. He made some adjustments, found the noise to be gone, gave the car back. However, upon actually driving the car, I noticed the noise came back. Andy took the car for a test drive, found the problem, and wouldn't stop working on it till it was fixed. I offered to pay him for the extra work and parts he needed, but he declined. I'm grateful for Andy's careful attention to detail, and dedication to making sure the job was done well. He was professional, patient, and happy to help, every step of the process.

Andy is a legend.He fixed a problem with my cruise control, (caused by a different local shop) that two independent mechanics and a Toyota dealership couldn't figure out.He's replaced my master and slave cylinder, cv boot, and countless oil changes and tune ups. Plus he keeps everything up to date per factory requirements with detailed records of every service.Been coming here for 10 years and I wouldn't trust my tacoma with anyone else.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

If you want your car fixed properly the first time, this is the place to go. Andy does excellent work, his shop is clean, and his prices are competitive. I don t take my car anywhere else.

We all know how hard it is to find a great mechanic that is dependable and honest. I found Andy about 3 years ago. The more I got to know him, the more trust and confidence I have in him. There are 5 cars in the family and he services them all.I don't have to worry about him lying to me or charging me for unnecessary repairs. In fact, he will tell you "You can wait for the next oil change." I recently brought my car in again and told him about my car occasionally making grunting noise. He told me he found an error in the idle control but the part is expense to replace, so he cleaned it out and ran it again and the error code did not reappear. He did caution me that if it returns, it will most like need to be replaced. My car is getting old so I expect wear and tear kind of repair. For now, my car is running great. He charged me so little for the labor for that.So many of us can vouch for his 5-star service. He will even tell you to take it somewhere else if he can't fix it. I am so glad I found him. If you decide to hire him as your mechanic, consider yourself lucky.

Andy's a great guy with a very honest way of working. He's a straight-shooter about what your car needs and how long it can wait, and his rates are very reasonable. Thorough, skilled, trustworthy. 100% worth it.

Nothing I can write in this text box will communicate how much I trust Andy. Every car, every breakdown goes to Andy for the past 10 years. I come all the way from LA just to get their quality service. I consider SoCal Motor Works more competent than even the Toyota dealers. I no longer bring my car anywhere else, not even for an oil change.

I ve been a customer here for about 10 years. I ve had problems with poor workmanship or jobs not being done properly elsewhere, but I come here because I know the job is going to get done right the first time. The prices here are competitive.
