Went in and bought a used truck from Sami. He was super helpful and respectful. When I took it home I realized there's a nice Crack on the windshield that I didn't see earlier. He was quick to have me bring it back in and take care of it. Awsome customer service.

I bought a car here from this dealership on 04/02/2023. A car that I've wanted for a long time. The second time I drove the car, two days later. It wouldn't start. The alternator was bad. I was sold a car with a bad alternator. I called the sales person numerous times. To no avail. I was told that he would call me back. Not good. I'm so frustrated. Now I have to have the car fixed. And that starter is testing bad too. What a shady shoddy place. I was Happy to get the car, because I have wanted one for a long time. But I can't even drive it.When I had the vehicle tested, the place said that the alternator was bad prior to me even purchasing the car, and the battery terminals were very loose.I wouldn't recommend purchasing from this dealership. They also add in hidden costs. Options they add that are worthless to inflate the price.I spoke with Jonathan Cortez, the service manager following recieving instructions from Ella of customer service ecko ended up giving tme the runaround . Because I took over a week. I had tried in vain to speak with sales person Angel a d have yet to receive a return call. The car also needs a water pump, timing belt, electrical work,a nd a roof. Thousands of dollars or repairs.I'm so frustrated. I can't even use the car.

Went in to purchase a vehicle, at first everything seemed good but the vehicle was making a banging sound every time you d stop and go. I was told it would be fixed so I decided to move forward. Filled out credit app, had money down and was told that it was declined almost immediately. No bank ever ran the credit except them in house, immediately they asked for 60% down and when I declined communication ceased. Text messages and phone calls not returned.Nice cars, but sales skills and customer service suck. Check your car for defects and mammals sure you get everything in writing.Went to another dealer and was immediately approved with little down for another Range Rover at a higher price and a decent APR.

Auto Republic and their star salesman Joe put me in a Tesla - my dream car! Joe went above and beyond to make sure I could drive it home and call it mine. Can't appreciate them enough, this is the only place you want to buy your next car in the LA/Orange Co area.

I have purchased a truck from here before . The truck works, but since I bought the truck, the service engine light and the tire pressure sensor have been on. I took it back immediately they had me drive to Fullerton to "fix" it. I know they disconnected the battery to turn off the sensors because as I drove home, they turned back on. I sent images, and they said to take it back and leave it there so their mechanic can check it out. I didn't go back.I was looking to purchase a vehicle. I went online. They had a good deal on a vehicle, $9,999. I go in with a pre-approval from my bank for $12,000. That should have covered it , right ? I call my bank to make sure everything is good. I was informed that Auto Republic put in a request for $13,900 !! The kelly blue book value of the vehicle was $9,700.I question the sales man why was the request put in ? why wasn't my pre-approval enough to cover everything? He started to get upset asking who told me about the request?I wanted to leave he obstructed me several times, and I was finally able to walk out . Only to have them harassing me over the phone to go back. I didn't give them a chance to work the numbers, days, and several calls later. I explained to stop calling, or i was going to speak to a lawyer about them calling me . It was absolutely absurd to a point hostile the way they yelled and called . I'm guessing because I'm a woman and went in with my daughter, they thought to take advantage and then basically bully me into going back to buy the car.

After months of searching for a newer-used vehicle, I landed on Auto Republic's website. I spoke with Ryan initially, but signed the deal with another representative. The staff was cordial, responsive and helpful. Test drive went very well and the car was as presented advertised - NO haggling. The additional fees are listed in the ad [powder coat for wheels, corner protection, taxes, title, license, etc.] My trade-in was in fair shape and I was given a very reasonable offer, which I accepted. The staff worked closely with my Credit Union as I was pre-approved I received the tags a week or so later. Very smooth experience, roughly 2.5 hours total.

Horrible dealer. Advertising a 2021 Audi Q3 for $40,992 with no haggle pricing. When I called, their salesman Arturo told me the all in price with clear coat, wheels, and LoJack, the out the door price was $47,000. I asked why not just advertise this as a $47,000 vehicle instead of this false advertising and he just snickered. I told home to keep his car. These type of guys take advantage of the ignorant.

Updated 06/16/21If I could give this dealership 0 stars I would. The situation has gone from bad to horrendous. It's been 3 months size the purchase agreement and the dealer still has not delivered the title. After contacting them multiple times they don't even know why they don't have the title.Save yourself the headache and keep driving to the next dealer. It not worth it dealing with them.I purchased a vehicle from them from out of state on mid march 2021. Their communication is terrible. Constantly promise to call back within an hour and I would not hear from them until the next day when I call them.Watch out for the additional fees they add to all their cars. They add low jack, chip paint protection and powder coat to wheels and add that cost on top of the advertised cost. Basically dealer mandated options on a used car.The car sat so long in their lot that by it was delivered the battery was dead. they also cleared codes on the car before I had a PPI done on the car so now I have repairs. There was an issue with the bank and registration because they did not have the title at hand. The only reason I bought the car from them was that the car I wanted is hard to find with the options I wanted. if you are looking for a car that is more common then I recommend you go somewhere else.

I just had the most pleasant experience with a car dealership than I have ever had before. It was AUTO REPUBLIC ORANGE, and their salesman CHRIS. I only went there to test drive, I ended up walking away with the keys with my new car. I was not pressured At All.He even drive my new car straight to my home in LA, from Orange County. How is that for services. I will always recommend AUTO REPUBLIC CAR DEALERSHIP TO ALL MY FRIENDS.

DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE! They get people to buy from them because they have unique cars that are hard to find. But have horrible communication. They do not respond and it s not worth it! Should have noticed this red flag sooner! We purchased a car from out of state. They registered our car in the state of california and made us pay california fees. This should not have happened & we didn t know about it until we got our license plates in the mail?? Now we are stuck with Cali plates and live in Idaho. They should know better than this! 2 months later the car broke down due to a busted turbo. It did this because the car had no oil. The last person to do an oil change was auto republic & It wasn t due for another one for 2000 miles. The car only have 30,000 miles to begin with. Auto republic would not respond or give us the time of day. We have tons of unanswered texts and phone calls. Complete rip off! Spend your money elsewhere!!! They could care less about anything except ripping you off & making their money.

My husband & I drove out from the IE to Auto Republic Orange to see a particular car. The gentleman we worked with, Chris Piper, was incredibly helpful. We are somewhat credit challenged, however Chris could see how much we loved the car (and that my birthday was coming up) and he MADE IT HAPPEN. This was such pleasant experience & we are thrilled!!!

I visited Auto Republic Orange to purchase a vehicle. Chris was supposed to help me but he was distracted with other customers after our test drive and Marco took over with pricing information even though Chris had said we could come to a deal. I felt rushed and he later said he was Chris' manager and that he wouldn't let Chris make a deal without his approval. I was clear that I had my own financing and cash but Marco kept trying to push financing on me with high interest rates (6% & 5%) and extra financing fees even though I have excellent credit and my bank didn't have those additional fees and my interest rate was 3.89 from my bank. Before they ran my credit I asked what the lowest credit rate they offered was to see if it was worth dinging my credit to see if they could beat my bank. Chris told me 3-4%. I don't believe that was true as they came back with 6%/5%. They also tried to deceive me with several things. For example, the mandatory Lojack add on that they put on all their cars will "pays for itself" (not true, with Geico it only saves you $8 a year in only NYC and CA and doesn't work nationwide and the car already had an anti theft system). There was also a charge for $300 that would allow me to return the car within 48 hours if "anything happened to it or I didn't like it." Marco said the lemon law only applies to new cars. Not true! California Civil Code Sections 1790-1797 makes this very clear. I never saw the final contract so unless they put that the car is being sold "as is" or "with all faults" to try and get around this law and deceive you, the lemon law does apply to used cars. A warranty was included that I wanted and when I tried to negotiate the final price Marco said that was the best deal. I went to leave but then he said he would rework the cost and come down. Marco actually just removed the warranty and lowered the cost of the lojack and mandatory paint package slightly ($200) making it look like I was saving a few thousand. When I noticed it was gone he changed the pitch to "oh actually you don't need the warranty the car still had an active warranty and when that is done in 2 years I'll give you a deal on a new warranty." I put down money for them to hold the car and when I came home and did more research I saw many reviews about the shadiness. I reviewed the final list of charges and discovered they were trying to charge hidden fees that were not disclosed in the web ads including document fee, smog fee, electronic reg fee (this is actually a dealer fee and has nothing to do with registration) and a clean pro package which violates the Vehicle Code Section 11713.1 law which requires dealers to specifically disclose these things in the ad if they aren't included in the list price. When I called my bank to make the wire transfer the gentleman at the bank asked why I wasn't using my credit card because I got cash back. I told him I wanted to but the dealership told me there was a $4500 limit. He informed me that it wasn't true and to ask for an exception and that he often talks to customers who do this. They would not make an exception. I felt like I was being taken advantage of and when I voiced my concerns to Marco I was passed around to several people including a "manager" named Caesar (but on the website he is just an "Internet Sales Consultant") and Eddie (also a "manager") who isn't listed on the site. I voiced my concerns to Eddie and then he refused to sell me the car. Didn't even try to make any of it right. Chris called me a few hours later to ask me why I hadn't come to pick up the car. He was very concerned with my experience and said what happened wasn't right. I let him know about the lojack insurance discrepancy so hopefully he won't make that mistake again. He said he was going to talk to the COO the next day about what happened, asked if I still wanted the car and said he would call me back. That was 5 days ago and I never heard from him.

They were able to work out an awesome deal for me on a '16 Mustang GT!!! Looking around their lot, they have plenty of other great vehicles available. My salesman Mario was awesome!!! He and all the staff do a great job here and never once did i feel pressured or uneasy during the process. Eddie the manager came through huge and got me the numbers i needed. They go above and beyond here and i will certainly recommend them to friends, family and anyone reading this

Good: they had a large inventory and clean, organized operation. Bad: vehicle was misrepresented by photos and by representative over the phone when I called and asked why the price was $1500 above average. I was told "showroom condition". Based off the photos and conversation with the rep I was ready to buy so traveled far via Uber. Arrived to find the vehicle had over 22 very visible scrapes and scratches on the exterior and a ton on the interior. There appeared to be a hokey repair under the car with a large cable. I get that it's used and it's not going to be perfect but the price, photos and representative was misleading. Be prepared that the car must be sold with $895.00 LoJack system. The representative told me it was not optional and based off their ads this is on every vehicle they sell.

If I could I would give this place a -1. I came to look at a car today & the dealer pressured me into putting a downpayment on it today. They sold me paint insurance, low jack & other theft insurance that I did not want. The total was over 1k for this unnecessary stuff. Read the fine print! With the 5 year financing, when i asked for 3 year & my downpayment I would've paid a total of 18k for a 2017 Yaris with 38k miles. The listed price was 10, 099. I dealt with Tito & Marco. Do not trust these guys!

Buying the vehicle was a blessing at first. My daughter purchased the vehicle in Feb 2021, now it s nearly July and we still cannot get the title/plates for it. Initially I called the sales office when I received a threatening letter from the bank requesting the title. The dealer told me we took care of everything. That was a lie. 30 days later I get another letter from the bank. I call and say you guys need to look into this, the bank AND the DMV says you need to take action. yeah, I called the DMV and spoke with a live person if you can imagine the difficulty in that! The dealer say the business office will look into and call me back. Nope. Meanwhile, I m calling the bank and pleading my case and they are trying to coach me thru this nightmare. I call the dealer again and finally get a number for the business office. I call Carolina, she knows all about it and says she s working with the previous lien holder. I advised her that my bank suggested it may take her 7 or 8 calls to get the previous lien holder to do what they need to do. She sends an extension for the DMV title because now the 90 days for them to get it has passed. So, now it s the end of June and still no response to my vm, and no title for the car. The best advice I can give is DO NOT buy a car from them. The best advice the bank gave me was to avoid mom & pop dealers.

DON'T BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. Wasted an 1 hr going back and forth. Wouldn't want to tell me the price after sales tax and etc. Almost $10,000 in taxes.ReEdit: There was around $6,000 of hidden prices (not taxes) that was not discussed or mentioned. The employee went to call the bank and try and proceed with getting it approved without giving the total amount or breaking down the costs. Sales tax was 50% higher than any other dealerships visited.

Randy was nice and professional. He let me inquire about a Lexus I was interested in and let me look at it and test it without being pushy or trying to make a sale. For someone in the area looking to inquire about cars (especially if you want black rims) this is a great location.

worst place and service went to look at at dodge charger hellcat I was really interested in buying they got my information down to submit the following day since it was past 7pm, was told I would receive a call the next day in the am from Sal, never received a call back , would not answer my calls or texts, I kept calling and they would tell me they would call me back and never did, they wanted 15k down payment, they ran my credit when I clearly told them not to do it under my name because the vehicle was gona be under my partners they didn't run hers, went to California motors direct in Montclair and purchased my dream car "hellcat" they made it happen right away without any excuses or issues and would pick up my calls. I would not recommend anyone to this place

They advertised the truck at $31k and when we sat down to negotiate it was almost $38k. They added a mark up and I was expecting it for the leather. But all they would negotiate was $500 off.

I first spoke with Bill through the phone. He answered my questions before going to the location. I searched first through the website and went to all of their locations but this one was the one. Bill greeted us. Made it easy and understanding. I appreciate it. Thank you the team of Auto Republic- Orange
