Resort is at the base of the mountain and immediately outside the entrance to a lift. The walk to the village and restaurants was only a few minutes. Having a fireplace was great! The clubhouse with multiple hot tubs and a sauna was very handy. I used the grill for burgers one night and enjoyed the Christmas tree in the clubhouse as well. Great experience!!

awesome location, parking garage, super close to the chairlift in the Palisades ski resort. The studio room was spacious, great for 2, probably tight for 4.The clubhouse was awesome, skiing 2 full days with a one night stay is well supported.OnlyNearby activities: super close to the Red Dog chairlift at Palisades, major plus for skiers!

The location is great, and will have me coming back year after year. However, the amenities are not as nice as some of the other time shares I have stayed at. The sheets are scratchy, the towels are small, the paper products are low quality, the knifes are dull, and the baseboards have splinters coming off (one of which stabbed me). Also the insulation is almost non-existent for noise, and the neighbors and snow plows are so loud that it can be hard to sleep.Nearby activities: The ski in ski out nature makes up for any other minor issues.

First, the location is excellent. Just a short walk from the village and some lifts. On the other hand, customer service was very poor. They were under major balcony construction from 8:00 - 5:00 during my entire stay, and was not given the chance to either reschedule or change rooms for the "inconvenience". Then they had the audacity to charge me for a lost ski locker key after being explicitly told that I could leave the keys in the room on check out. I did so in a very clear and open spot, but after two weeks of "investigating" nothing was resolved.Everything was nice, but the service was sadly very poor

My son got sick around 930pm and threw up in the bed. I texted the phone number that in the room listed as a 24/7 number, but received an auto response that someone would respond to me in the morning. I was hoping for some clean sheets or maybe a temporary room. Instead my kids are on the foldout and I m on the floor. It s really unacceptable that there isn t a single staff member to help in the middle of the night. I m here on a weekend in January when there should be enough people staying here to support at least someone being available. Instead I m stuck with a stinky room and the floor.

The Red Wolf may be one of the better kept secrets of Olympic Valley. It's easily within walking distance of the Palisades, is close to ski lifts, and provides wonderful views of the surrounding environment. The rooms are cleaned, room upkeep is top-notch, and the kitchen is fully functional. Our only MINOR gripe is it's definitely apparent when there are guests above you if you're staying on the first or second floor of the facility.Rooms: Clean, reasonably recently remodeled, without losing the feel that you're definitely in Tahoe.Safety: Never experienced an issue or exterior noise that was remotely questionable during our stay.Walkability: No reason to leave, unless you want to! Everything is readily accessible, and the free bike checkout is a huge draw.

Enjoyed working remote here! WiFi has been great. The only suggestion I have is maybe to add a note on the event website that guests need to RSVP for the events with the front desk. We were under the impression these events would occur regardless. Not a big deal, but we would have RSVPd for an event if we would have know that was needed.

We love this place! Able to book numerous rooms for friends and family. The full kitchen in the clubhouse was great for nightly family dinners and games!Rooms: Studios were great, and free waders and dryers on the floors were very convenient!Nearby activities: Within steps of Olympic Village and just a few feet from one of the lifts.Walkability: Steps away from the Village, the lifts and tubing!Food & drinks: Studios fully stocked with dishes, utensils and cookware.

So far my experience has been okay. Room is clean, staff is nice but there are a few things that are lacking; the gym is not really a gym. The equipments are so old and needs to be updated. Also would be nice to have weights and a yoga mat or two. Overall, the gym needs a makeover. I wouldn t really call three equipments a gym. Also, there is no pool. I was looking forward to the pool.On a side note, I love the big tub in my room, however, as a safety precaution, I would recommend a holding bar , cause I can see an older person falling down and not having anything to hold on to.Rooms: Room was very clean. I recommend the third floor. Beautiful views from the balcony. The hot cocoa was a nice welcoming gift. thank you Nearby activities: The Palisades has pretty much everything; restaurants, shops, wine bar, blues festival, they have it all at the village.Safety: This is a very safe location. I walked the trails every night overlooking the golf course. Beautiful view, but again I wished they had a real gym. If you re into fitness. I recommend that you bring your own mat and a good pair of walking or running shoesFood & drinks: Again, the Palisades has everything. All types of restaurants, wine bar, everything that you might possibly need for your sports activities. They have it all.

We stayed here for an event happening at Palisades Tahoe, and we could not have been happier. For roughly the same price as a decent hotel room in the area, we had our own room with kitchen, common area with fireplace and separate bedroom, with a beautiful view of the surrounding area and mountains. They also have a clubhouse area for relaxing, eating with a group, watching sports or movies, complete with a kitchen, foosball table and large flat screen. It's close proximity to The Village means that you can order in, or take a nice 5 minute walk to one of many different stores or restaurants.I'm sure it's a bit more pricey during the snow season, but I couldn't imagine a more cozy place to be during the winter months.

Unit is a little dated but very clean.Resort is situated perfectly at the base of the Red Dog lift. Walk out the back of the lodge and you re on the lift. Take the Red Dog up and you can ski down to all of the main lifts and gondolas, including the new base to base gondola which takes you to the Alpine Meadows Ski Resort. Very little walking in ski boots.Beds were comfortable and hot tubs were hot although one was under maintenance when we were there. There s no food on site at the lodge, but several great restaurants are in the village which is a short five minute walk.Lobby closes around 6pm, but after hours check-in instructions are posted on the door and the process is simple. We arrived at 11pm and it was no problem.Parking is located under the building and has easy access to elevator and luggage carts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Small resort right next to Palisades Tahoe village wiith fantastic employees and activities to meet other guests and intermingle with staff - such as hot chocolate event, wine and cheese event. Employees were fabulous friendly and so helpful. I loved that midweek refresh was back. Loved our stay at red wolf lodge for quiet clean comfortable units with kitchen, hot tubs, and dry sauna. Right next to red dog lift.

This was a lovely hotel on the Palisades premises. The front desk personnel were very friendly and accommodating, the room itself was huge and very comfortable. It's just a short walk to all the restaurants and shops at the Palisades which is a great place to visit in any season. They let us use their bicycles gratis which we rode to Lake Tahoe completely on safe bike trails. The only complaints I have is that the room was too warm and the views. I did not turn on the heat but there was still heat coming through the heater and this was in Oct. Our room faced the concrete base of the school next door but the other side of the hotel would face the parking lot so not really much a view to choose from. The biggest annoyance was a temporary one but there is construction going on next door to build a new gondola ramp and they start work at 6am. Enough to wake us up and keep our windows closed all day.

The lodge was very comfortable. We enjoyed going to the village even though it was off season. Took long walks on the bike paths near by. Relaxed in the spa. Took short drives to the lake. Saw the view from the top of the tram. It was so nice to relax and do what we wanted to do.

Amazing place. The staff was amazing and friendly. They offered different activities each day for the guest which made the stay fun. Rooms were beautiful and the view is to die for. We are looking forward in attending again sooner than later.

Great timeshare property. We bought a week in the winter back in the 1980's. Love the skiing there best of all, very close to the lifts. Love the covered parking which protects you from the snow and ice.
