Jose and team are amazing. Went in for brake pads due to squeaking and diagnosed as the rotors. Pads are good. Only charged me for the rotor resurfacing and no need to change the pads. Love how honest and knowledgable they are.

I'm very grateful for my experience at this store after having a horrible issue at the other local pep boys. Jose, Angel and Justin all demonstrated patience and high ethical standards. It is very intimidating as a woman to walk into an auto body shop but I fully trust this group. I highly recommend this store over the other Oceanside store.

I took my car into pep boys on mission Ave in Oceanside and was helped by Jose who I must say was a very professional nice and great person to have to deal with.I would recommend going to this pep boys to anyone who needs to have their car service.He was very kind and thorough.

Scheduled an appointment online for 12:30pm and car was not looked at until after 3pm. I had to call several times for updates. The car was to be ready by 6-6:30pm and it was not ready until 8pm and they could not reset the sensor. They told me to take it to another location and that they would be able to view the work on their system, but this was not factual.

I was there yesterday for a tire repair. The manager was so pleasant and helpful! Very fair and inexpensive, I even got some new wiper blades for my other car. Kinda new to the area and it's good to know there's a good place to get tires and auto supplies. I will definitely be back when I need tires or anything else. Bonus: there's a comfortable waiting are with a big TV. Thanks Pep Boys Oceanside, Keep up the good work!

I got a flat tire on June 12, 2023. I had to get a new tire.Jose and Jonathan at Pep Boys were professional, courteous, and knowledgeable.I didn't wait, they worked together and I was able to get back on the road under 25 minutes.Keep up the great work.Thank you gentleman!!!!

I don t write reviews but this experience deserves one. I had scheduled an appointment for a tire repair and I was checked in, did the year and model and mileage and when entered the office I picked up a clip board to fill out the paper work only to be yelled at because it was the wrong one. After she did say it ll be 45 minutes to be seen and I said that was a long time and don t get why appointments are made and she replied with a smart remark like, when you go to a doctors appointment don t you wait? I told her I ll wait and if I can go to the link I was sent to write the survey of how my service went, she got mad because I had said this so folds my paper and sad she ll not conduct business with me so thanks and not only could I write how my business went with this particular woman/receptionist on the survey but now she gets a fantastic review on Google and yelp. I took my business to Hal s auto and tire repair shop on 3598 Mission Ave, Oceanside, CA 92058 and the service was fast and excellent with only two technicians available.

I m unsure if I m spelling her name correctly, but Lina (the store manager) and Jose (the technician) were AMAZING!!! I come here all the time, my fav PepBoys in SoCal!!! but this time in particular, they really helped me get back on the road safely. They both went above and beyond for me! I can never thank them enough. They are always busy here, and I always leave them my car with them for the whole day, as I know they do their best - but why not have one customer that isn t rushing you? Anyways, although they are always busy and under pressure, they never treat me any different. They re always nice and if they get interrupted, they always apologize and excuse themselves. 100 out of 100 customer service score!!!! I love them!!!

I went in late in the day on Friday to have my tires rotated because another business was unable to when they did my oil change. Even though it was hot and late in the day, they provided exceptional service with a great attitude and had me in and out in under an hour. Not only that...they made a customer for life with me! Amazing!

My tire was leaking on the way to my friend s graduation & Lenna (aka the boss) made sure a technician was able to change my tire as quickly as possible so I could still try to make it. Fast, friendly, and helpful!

We came to Pep Boys when our rental car developed a low tire pressure. They worked with the rental agency to get it fixed and put new tires on there. They were friendly and kind. While we would have preferred not to have car trouble, I m so glad that Pep Boys was here to help.

I called to set up an appointment and they took my car back right away and informed me of other things that needed to be replaced. They even brought out the parts to show me what was wrong. Very trustworthy and great customer service. They also always have coupons online!

Horrible experience. I bought wheels through tire rack and chose this place to install my new wheels. I called the day they were delivered to the shop to confirm my appointment and they said everything looked good. I called the day before my appointment and they reassured me once again that everything was ready for the next day. I arrived and the first thing i was asked was "what type of wheels are you installing". I knew something want right at that point. They are wheels, right? What kind of question is this? I explained everything and the answer was that they would not be able to do the install "because I'm afraid my technicians will scratch your new rims". She also said it's against their policy to install wheels with no tires (combo). Even after i explained how i called twice before my appointment, she said the other lady who answered my call doesn't work there..... To all the other reviewers who gave it a good reviews good luck with your car. These guys can't be trusted at all. She offered a free oil change for the inconvenience. No thank you!

The first truly professional job I ve had done in two years. Big Mike helped me and he was amazing. I came in for an oil change and break change (potentially). I thought my breaks were ready to be changed based on my last maintenance at Fiat in Santa Monica, where they told me the breaks were in the yellow. Turned out they didnt need to he changed. I ve also been hearing a squeaky noise when braking at low speeds since just after having those same breaks installed. Every place I ve been to in two years has told me they can t recreate the sound and its not coming from the breaks. Big Mike took the breaks off and showed me exactly what might be causing the noise, and also cleaned out a bunch of debris that had accumulated. Guess what, the squeak went away. FINALLY!!! He went above and beyond and I can t express how much I appreciate that. Highly recommend!

I made an appointment only to have them try to up sell work that had already been done (which is why I wanted an alignment, cause I just had work done). Ultimately they did not preform the alignment which was fine besides wasting my time cause I went to Firestone and got the work done cheaper. If you need an alignment I recommend Firestone they did not try up sell any services and did a great job with the alignment.

Leena is very rude and unprofessional. Dale started off great and then ended with a threatening and rude demeanor. I took my car for an oil change and it was in great shape and now I'm having suspension problems or something else. I haven't diagnosed it. I had to take it back to have the plastic oil pan cover put on properly and now a whole new problem when It was just there. Very dissatisfied and I saw them driving my car very non carefully but this was after they said it was already parked up front.I will never be coming back to this place. Wow , if only 0 stars was a possible rating.

Scheduled an appointment the night prior for an oil change and a tire rotation. I arrive at my time for the appointment to be told that they can t see me right now because there online system let me and 4 other people pick the same time for the appointment and they told me to drop my car off or reschedule for later in the day. So I said I ll reschedule. I came back 4 hours later for my new appointment to be told that they can t do the full service unless I drop off my car because they don t have enough lifts to rotate my tiers which is the reason I picked this shop for an oil change. Honestly I ll just do the service my self at this point. The scheduling system for customers seems to be a joke and management needs to figure out staffing because both times I was at the shop the employees complained about being under staffed and not taking their lunch breaks.

When to get a windshield wipers they don't have books just a thw qr scan to look for the model of car.Everything was clean and in order.The employees are very helpful.

The treatment from check in, explaining my situation and request for repair, and task completed in a timely fashion, was very satisfying to myself. The can-do-will-do attitude was displayed by every one in the store. I personally like it when the staff really show you they know, who is there for who. Mark did an amazing job on our vehicle. This location has very good and reliable people. My husband and I recieved great service here. Very polite and patient despite their HIGH workload. I have taken my car here for several years and I've had no issues with their service. They truly try to help you out and work with you as best as they can. Communicating with people at a calm respectful level will get you much further than arguing. Despite our unique and difficult situation the staff was very patient and more than willing to help. They always provide great service and most reasonable prices. I am very appreciative of the service they recently provided.

I had a warranty issue on a battery I purchased from Pep Boys a while back and had lost the receipt. The folks at the 1-800 customer service number took care of helping me with proof of purchase. I took the purchase information to this location and Paul handled the replacement seamlessly and without delay. This is the place for honest, friendly, top shelf service.

Paul (British guy) was awesome! Although they were fully booked for that day, he fit me in and made sure they fixed my problem .allWith a smile! I came in for a new battery and they had one left! They installed it yet it didn t fix the dash board. It still wasn t coming up. He called in his tech and they reprogrammed my jeep and took an extra two hours and he didn t charge me the labor fees for it! I will def come here before overpaying for dealership repairs! Thanks!
