I went to this place because of their good reviews but I must write this to WARN others. This place OVERCHARGES you. Brought my Toyota RAV4 2013 asking for fluid flush (transmission fluid and brake fluid) and a brake inspection and tire rotation. My invoice came out to be $800. They charged $165 for brake inspection. I have no words. Tire rotation was $41. I am paying $200 for service that could have been free at other places. I am not saying they shouldn't charge for it, but their prices definitely left me in shock. I am upset. If you want an affordable and reasonably priced place, steer away from this place. I will never set foot in this shop! I had 4 tires replaced as soon as I left the shop I had one tire pop, I called the owner to let him know and he text me back stating he was eating at a local bar and grill and he would get back to me. He never called me back. I waited for 4 hours to get my vehicle towed. The next day I went over to the shop and talked to one of his employee's they did pick up my tire and replace it and found out the rim was damage due to the blow out. They did replace the rim how ever they put the tire on the old rim and told me it was good. I told them I wanted the new tire on the new rim. They stated the owner told him to leave it like that. I ended up having it go flat again as soon as I left my home with in 5 miles. this place does bad work and does not care about the customer. I NOW HAVE 3 NEW TIRES AND A USED ONE !! If they cant change out tires I'm scared what else they cant do...

Best shop in Oceanside. I m here from Seattle, WA with my family visiting and after a long drive I had the bearing go out in my front axle the day before I was planning on leaving to head home. After a quick call and tow over to their shop they started working on my truck right away. Absolutely love these guys, no project to big or to small. Great people and awesome mechanics. Thanks a million guys!

I was from out of town and these guys did a great job trying to diagnose a strange noise my Toyota Highlander was making, as well as a check engine light that needed to be addressed, which they worked on all day for me with great urgency.

I found this shop when they were known as "North County Car Clinic" and now that they are "Oceanside Car Clinic" and in their new building, I still go to them for everything! I own 3 cars and Jose and his team are the only ones I trust to maintain and repair them. I received an estimate from another shop for a power steering leak repair that was $1400. Jose and Victor saw that it was the "O" ring in the sensor and repaired is for way way way less. I realized that the other shop had lied to me about the repair and Jose told me the truth and saved me a fortune! This may be the ONLY HONEST AUTO SHOP IN THE WORLD! I love these guys! They are friendly, professional, transparent, and totally trustworthy. Unlike most places, they will not sell you anything you do not need or upcharge you. I have an old car so I ve come in for several different issues- headlights, brakes, horn, etc- and they always do great work. Highly recommend!

Brought my 57 Chevy here after seeing the classics they had parked out front. Glad I did! I am a mechanic but my garage limits some of the work I can do, so I went here to get my brakes/ brake lines redone. They were friendly and honest right from the start and set proper expectations. It took longer than I thought but the wait was worth it with the quality of their repairs. I would not hesitate to bring any car here in the future when needed.Service: Engine repair

These guys ROCK! Awesome customer service! They are all about keeping customers coming back. A lot of other business are get them for everything you can while they are in your shop!I first noticed them when my sister and I were passing by and she said you should check those guys out for brakes. so then I checked the reviews on Yelp and Google.I used the quote button on Yelp app. They responded accurately and quickly with correct information. Actually the price was lower than the quote! Came in for a free brake inspection at 1:00 pm and they had completed the service by 4:30! In addition to great service and customer service they gave me advice on how to possibly save money on a factory light that comes on randomly. Oh and my steering wheel didn t feel like grease after the service. It s the little things that makes them great!They make you feel like your part of the family and they have your best interest in mind!Thanks Jose and Ish!Service: Auto brake repair

I wish I had found these guys sooner! I stopped by to ask about wheel alignment on our 2017 4Runner. They were able to schedule me for the next day. The guys who run the shop and the mechanics were all extremely nice. They did my alignment, but I had some rubbing after they were done, so they put it back on the lift and adjusted it until the issues were resolved. They answered questions and gave suggestions regarding a lift I want to have done, as well. The owner, Jose, could not have been more down to earth and so nice, not just with me but with every customer I heard him on the phone with. Price points are not outrageous and they seem to value their customer s satisfaction. Too bad we re leaving SoCal in a few months. These guys would be my go to for anything auto related if I were staying local!Service: Wheel alignment

I ve found my new go-to auto shop! Firstly, I was impressed by the professionalism of the gentleman who answered the phone. He was welcoming, helpful, and got me an appointment the following day as requested. Upon arrival I was impressed by the esthetic of the shop, clean and spacious. The owner who had answered the phone was very kind and helpful in person as well. The job was done promptly and efficiently. The cost was also a really pleasant surprise. Thought this was the place to go until recently went in for a transmission oil change dropped it off the night before and it took all day. I was told one price then ended up paying much more, the guy was very rude and his customer service sucked. They can count on me not going back that s not how you talk to customers. That s why everyone is trying to do there own work on their cars now days because of Mecanics and their ridiculous price one minute then another at the end.Service: Auto maintenance

You will not find another mechanic like this. I have brought all 4 of my vehicles here I recommend them to everyone asking for a mechanic because they treat you like family. You rarely meet a shop owner like Jose anymore he stands by his work and doesn't try and upsell you or nickel and dime you he just wants satisfied returning customers and everyone I have sent his way has had the great same experience as myself. If you're looking for a new mechanic or just one in general this is your place!

Jose was a lifesaver when my car broke down in the middle of the night. I was visiting from another county, so it was very stressful to not know an honest mechanic in the area. Fortunately, AAA pointed me to Oceanside Car Clinic! My car was towed there and Jose called me at the start of business the next day. He got the part and completed work on my car all in the same day. I had to return another day because there was an issue that could not be foreseen with the part. He stood by his work and replaced the part for free, again in the same day I brought it back. I really appreciate the quick, honest work - it turned a very stressful situation into a manageable one. If I'm ever in Oceanside and in need of a repair, I'll be coming right back here!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Everyone at the shop was very kind and knowledgeable. I have an older van and brought it in for a squeaking problem. They went above and beyond to look at a few other issues I was having and pointed me in the right direction.
