I have no words for this place first I went to Firestone tires and they told me I needed to leave my car since 8am to 4pm so I was searching for a place that could help me I needed to be at work at 9am and I found this place the lady that answered the phone was very nice I went to the place and the guy was very nice but the other best thing is that there is a coffee shop there they sell breakfast and coffee I got a latte the best and the egg on my bagel was delicious also in the coffee shop they have a cat she so cute as I was sitting down to eat my delicious food my car was ready I got to work at 9:10am thank you for taking care of me I know each company fallows procedures but I also know that we can always be kind and help the person in need I live in Huntington Beach and I needed to be safe to drive back after work thank you thank you I forgot to mention my problem I had a flat tired :)

My minivan blew a tire on the way down to San Diego and we had no spare. Other tire places in Oceanside were either closed or had long waits for service, but fortunately I happened upon the good reviews of Conover Tires. Luke answered my phone call and immediately put in an order for the right-sized tire that arrived before our AAA guy brought us over with our vehicle in tow. It was the cleanest auto repair garage I'd ever seen. Luke invited us to wait in the cafe which connected directly to the auto shop. The cafe had a large flatscreen TV tuned to the sports channel, and the hot sandwiches they served were delicious. The restroom was clean and nicely decorated too. I wish every auto shop had a cafe like this connected to it. The 45 minute wait went by fast. Best of all, it turned out the tire job cost less than what Luke originally quoted to me over the phone. If I lived in Oceanside I would make this my regular auto shop. Luke and company helped to turn a stressful road trip into a pleasant experience. Highly recommend these guys.

I had an amazing experience at Conover. I m new to CA and was scared when I knew my car needed looked at. Unsure of where to go my co worker suggested Conover and my experience was excellent. They were giving me constant updates and being transparent in each call. They went above and beyond to test out my vehicle and make sure they did all they could. I will absolutely be going there with any issues I hope to not have in the future but if I do that s the place. Great people!

Luke and Scott are just great! Scott did an amazing job on my 1949 Ford alignment. He went above and beyond and was able to correct my alignment issues even though it required him getting creative. Highly recommend Conover...awesome service and team!

I came in to have my windshield wiper sprayer repaired if possibleMy appointment was at 8 o clock. I was greeted professionallyI was in the deli area, waiting for about an hour, and it was told my car was ready. They were able to fix it without a problem, and it only took a half an hour of their work time even though I was there an hour the only charge me a half an hour which was awesome. Shows they re not trying to Pay their bills with my little service.Well, I was in the deli waiting. I ordered their avocado toast, which is awesomely good. And. I will be back to the deli just to have their food not necessarily To have service on my car.I took a couple of business cards and have already passed them out to my neighbors, telling them to go to Conover for their service.

Had car towed in. Weve used Conover for about 6 years. The owner now has his son. LUKE is very friendly manager.They replaced our battery. Prices are fair. Service is good!We recommend the car repairs done by Conover.

I was broken down in Carlsbad on a Saturday morning. My friends in the area recommended Conover, that they ve been using them forever and were totally trustworthy as an unfamiliar mechanic to me.They were super helpful, communicative, and professional. They fixed everything even a couple smaller issues I didn t know about. Very thorough quality workmanship.No Mickey Mousing or shortcuts.I ended up having them put 4 new tires on as well. I live an hour north on the freeway but I m a new Conover customer. With 3 little kids on board I need my vehicle in top working order. Thanks guys. Perfect timing to find you too. My longtime mechanic retired. We ll take my wife s car there too.

Best auto repair place you can find in Oceanside!I damaged my metal shield (under my car) while driving through a flood in one of the worst rainy weather conditions. I couldn't remove the metal shield, so it was half stuck and hanging under my car, and I had to drive around with the metal hanging out the bottom. It was extremely scary as I thought I would get into an accident. It made a chalk-screech sound as I drove, scraping the metal against the ground. Being relatively new to San Diego, a friend recommended this repair shop, and said this repair shop has great reviews and trustworthy. Initially skeptical, I visited and was assisted by William, who provided exceptional service. First-time customers receive a free breakfast sandwich from the attached cafe, a pleasant surprise with a complimentary cat by your side while you wait for them to service your car. William was honest about the necessary repairs, avoiding the upsell tactics often encountered elsewhere. The pricing was extremely reasonable, and it took them 20 minutes to service my car. Super happy with this place and their service. Will definitely be back! And William deserves a raise for the best customer service!

We have been getting our vehicles serviced here for a few years now and have no complaints. In all honestly, it is always nerve-racking to me finding a new mechanic, we can trust, when we move. They will explain what is going on w the vehicle and truly be honest. They also, have a wonderful driver who can pick you up or take you back home. I live on base so this is extremely helpful. I highly recommend taking your vehicle or vehicles to them.

I couldn t be happier with my experience at Conover Tires. I needed used tires, and though they had only one both times I went, the quality was excellent, especially the second time around. I will be coming here for all my tire needs from now on. They are all lovely, generous people. And there s a cafe attached that s open earlier in the day for a pleasant waiting experience. I highly recommend them.

I can honestly say Conover Tires provided the best auto repair experience I have ever had. They did great work, under the timeframe provided, at the price they quoted, and with great text status updates. The Cafe waiting area nextdoor is clean and comfortable with great food. Conover even bought me a free breakfast sandwich at the Cafe since I was a first time customer.

My daughters brakes were making a loud funny noise and she was going out of town for college. I remembered a friend referred me to Conover, we use to eat breakfast at the cafe next door (good food and service) so for peace of mind, we took her car in to have it checked. It ended up she didn t need new brakes and they didn t charge us anything. I will recommend Conover to all my family and friends. Thank you!

I unfortunately had a terrible experience with the owners son Luke. I was dealing with my father's death at the same time as my vehicle was being serviced. My head was in a fog. I told him how my vehicle was not running well. Because it wasn't constant they said the mechanic might need a couple of days to access the issue. So I left it. I never got a phone call on any updates. I had to call several times. I told Luke my vehicle already had a fuel injection service and my fuel sensor fixed previously. I was going here for a 2nd opinion. Since the mechanic William couldn't find anything wrong. The owner Daniel suggested to look at the spark plugs and getting and induction service .This is the 1st time I heard of this service. I said ok let's try that. I'm trusting themI go to pick my car. My bill was $632.10Unbelievable labor charges of 354.00 for 1.97 hrs. I'm looking at the ATM machine. I'm questioning the charges. Luke sarcastically says to me. WHAT DID YOU THINK IT WAS GOING TO BE $6.32? I said no. But I didn't think it was going to be that amount. I was shocked. I was humiliated. I was feeling just another automotive shop I can't trust. I m just bummed by the lukes attitude. I was referred to here by my church leader. Just beware ladies when you take your car in. BE WARNED DONT HAVE YOUR HEAD IN A FOG. ASK ASK ASK HOW MUCH!

I used to only go to this place for maintenance when I lived locally, but I stopped going just before the pandemic, when I moved down into the city of San Diego. I recently returned, because I remember the service being so nice and being able to wait at the caf�, so I was looking forward to my oil change appointment on Saturday. I scheduled the appointment online and received a confirmation of appointment made. When I arrived, I was informed that they do not honor appointments on Saturdays and I would not be able to be serviced until end of day. I am extremely dissatisfied that I drove up and wasted my time. I feel it is disrespectful towards customer s time, and I m not sure why I was even allowed to make an appointment on Saturday.

Conover is the only automotive dealer I trust. Being Costco s preferred auto mechanic is just a bonus. The mechanics are ethical and genuine in the work they conduct, have an enormous plethora of knowledge and are simply kind. I have referred many friends and family and will always rely on Conover to take care of all my mechanical needs.

First visit to Conover s to get my front brakes done . Wonderful service from start to finish! Domingo gave me a ride home and his daughter picked me up when my car was ready. Also first time customers get free breakfast at the yummy cafe next door . Two thumbs up and 5 stars for Conover s! Thank you for the great service!

I came here originally just because they re open on Saturday which is convenient. The customer service is amazing and the care and quality they put into their repairs is worth the money. I m glad I found these guys and will be coming back

I am a small business owner and understand the importance of Yelp reviews. I researched a repair shop for a brake job for my wife's car and Conover's had great reviews, with special notes about their honesty and professionalism. I decided to give them a try and contacted them via their online reservation system. The next day I received back a confirmation of the appointment time I had selected. Upon entering the office, we were greeted by someone at the front desk who was extremely helpful. As a first time customer, we were also given a token to use at the deli next door for a free sandwich. We left the care and were told that they would inspect the brakes and call with what they found. I received a call about an hour later that in fact we did need the rear brakes serviced, but that the front brakes were in great shape. I was given a price to do the job and was asked if we wanted to proceed. I agreed and was told that the vehicle would be ready in a couple of hours. Just about 2 hours later I received a call stating that the car was done and that, if needed, they could send someone to pick me up. I opted for the pickup and someone was at my home in about 30 minutes. I had a pleasant conversation with the driver on the way back to the office where the vehicle was parked outside and ready. I quickly paid and had a short conversation with Dan.In the end, the overall experience was simple, easy and professional. Communication was fantastic and what I was told would happen, did happen. It's that simple. The little touches of the free sandwich and conversations are small things, but those that stick in your mind. I will definitely be coming back to Conover's for service in the future as they provide a professional service.

The best family owned and operated and family friendly shop! Dan and his crew are so helpful and knowledgeable and don t try to pressure/ sale you products and services that you don t need. Shop is clean and there s a very cute waiting area to sit back and relax while you wait.
