I'm a local triple A tow driver in the oceanside area. Everytime i have a customer that doesn't know where to go I always recommend this shop. I always check back with the customer and the shop and they are always happy with the service. Sean and his father are great guys! Turn around time is always fast. I would give these guys 10 stars if I could. I was driving to a meeting in LA when I got a flat tire on the freeway and rolled my car to the nearest auto shop at the nearest exit.They informed me that autobody shops don't typically deal with tires, but then proceeded to help me patch my tire for free and got me back on the road in time to make my meeting.If and when I actually have repairs that are necessary, they will certainly be my first stop. Great guys !

1VT Auto Repair has done a great job on my corvette I wouldn t go anywhere else. Not easy to trust a auto repair company but I believe you can here thanks 1VT!

My wife's c320 rear window wasn't working and I could not put it up. I took my vehicle to VT and he said it's more than likely the window regulator as this is a very common repair on a vehicle like mine.Then once the mechanic was inside the door panel he saw it was a small plastic piece that had broken and it was wasn't the window regulator. VT informed me of this, ordered up the correct part and adjusted/reduced my final bill by about $140.00.We all want an honest car repair shop at a fair reasonable price...and the repair done correctly in a timely matter. I found all these at VT. WELL DONE!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Two issues:1. Car bumper removing and re installing was not done correct as they glued the bumper to fender rather than correctly screwed it in. They are not agreeing that they did it but accusing me for no reason!! This is a MAJOR PROBLEM. Per my experience, they are not genuine, my recommendation is not to use them for major auto work.2. They did not say 3% charge when I paid through credit card. Charging 3% is ok provided it is communicated to me. I noticed this charge only from the credit card statement later. When I called them, they say the 3% charge is posted all over the shop! I think a good business practice would be to say Sorry if we have not told you when charging credit card . Later, I sent a cashier check to get credit card refund This is not an issue anymore as it is RESOLVED.More detail on the 1st issue:I met with a car accident when visiting Oceanside, CA. A traffic cone in the highway hit the front and dented center bottom of the front bumper, broke a piece of the grill and radiator fuel was leaking. Called a towing company to take my car to dealer repair shop but the towing truck man suggested VT Auto for quicker fix due to my drive back to my home state Texas.I wanted them to fix the car to make it drivable and not to do any body damage work. Also asked them to make the fix correct as I could not come back from Texas for any issue in the repair work. VT auto shop manager or owner Cain was very nice talking and promised me that they will fix good and won t be any issue to bring it back. During the repair work, they took out the bumper to check the front as he texted me with pictures of the damage and also the bumper picture sitting on the floor. I agreed to pay his repair estimate to replace the radiator, AC compressor, AC Freon, tubes. After two days, I paid and took the car, drove back to Texas.In Texas, per my insurance company instruction, took the car to Service King to fix bumper and grill damage. When they removed the bumper to check for any other damage inside , found the bumper top bracket was glued to the fender as supposed to screwed it in! They said the previous work was done poorly by gluing the bumper, they would not fix it. Also my insurance company says they would not cover either! I contacted VT auto asking them if they did the gluing and may need them to cover the cost of the glue fixing. Also sent glued bumper picture to VT auto. Cain got mad and started sending me emails saying he did not do body work and accusing me doing fraud! He did not answer either Yes or No for the gluing question yet. Not a good experience!Services: A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning, Oil change

This is the place to come if you care about your car. I was shopping to get some body work done and Ken Grody Ford recommended VT they quoted me around the same price as someone closer to me in Carlsbad. The Difference at VT is the people, the owner Cain is fair on price but at the other shop that was not only a couple hundred dollars more I felt like I was bothering them from the second I walked in, during the estimate process and back inside talking about price. I felt like another number another job and not welcome I did not want to leave my car there. Cain loves cars and all the guys at his shop do as well. With the couple hundred dollars that I saved going with VT I also had him order and install a cold air intake and my car now looks brand new from the body work, drives faster and gets better gas mileage.

The service here was great. I had my SL500 serviced at another shop in Carlsbad, after a bad experience I asked for a referral, and was told about VT Auto. I have become a loyal customer for the past3 years! Cain, the owner is extremely knowledgeable. I have had both mechanical as well as paint and body work. The friends and family I have referred can not thank me enough.

VT Performance is a great place to take your vehicle for any type of repair. They have a great group of guys over there that are more then willing to help with whatever you may have going on regardless what type of car you have. They have helped me out with multiple upgrades to my car. They maybe sick of seeing me so much (lol)but they always welcome me with open arms. It s the only place that I trust to do it right. Great atmosphere, great guys, great owner!!

Cain definitely knows how to run a business! I was quoted for a performance clutch in my WRX at multiple shops and VT came in well below! Not to mention, I dropped my car off on a Tuesday and my car was ready for pick up less than 5 hours later! Talk about efficiency! These guys definitely know how to run a shop! I highly encourage anybody and everybody to give them a call!

VT Auto Repair & Performance is by far the most professional mechanic/auto repair shop I've ever been to. Mr. Baljian is quick, respectable and does quality work/service that I believe he deserves recognition for. Seriously, do not ever bother going to your dealership for car problems or check up because they definitely will not give you the guaranteed best deal or put in a more thorough inspection. You will NOT be disappointed, Amen.

I highly recommend Cain Bajian's VT Performance for all auto repairs, even if your car is not a high performance car. Cain has been my mechanic since I moved to Oceanside in 2003 and became my good friend. He saved me thousands over the years in auto repairs in my domestic cars and Porsche, Toyota, Lexus and Corvette. Cain stands behind his work and is an honest technician who will not sell you service you don't need and will give you good advice to save you money. If you own a BMW, Mercedes or Porsche you need to not use the dealer but come see Cain. He will save you big bucks and you can rest to sure the work was done right.

Amazing service! AAA recommended that place after my car broke down on the freeway and another shop tried to charge me a tremendous amount of money for the same repair! They provided great service and changed my oil and a light bulb for free....... and when I picked up my car the next day, It was clean inside and out!! Best customer service ever!!!

The service is always done quickly with expertise. They do things right the first time around. The prices are average and the quality is perfect. I highly recommend this shop, I will not take my cars anywhere else.

I came to VT Auto Repair & performance in Oceanside to get an inspection done on my 1996 Toyota Camry they told me that I didn't have any issues they explained everything to me. Very Friendly and Welcoming Staff! I would go back and recommend VT AUTO REPAIR & PERFORMANCE to Friends, Family anyone in need in Great and Reliable Auto Work!!

This spot is awsome, they do not rip you off what so ever. Literally they will tell you hey this is whats wrong with your car, this is what it needs and itll be this price . Highly recommend it they really do care about their customers and i left my vehicle overnight and it had a new radiator the next day. If you are wiling to wait for your car to be serviced, there is a pizza pub across the street.

After being turned away at 3 other shops, I got my car in immediately, he figured out the issue promptly, got the parts and replaced them in under 4 hours! Great customer service! Will bring my car here from now on!

They fixed my BMW many times everything from engine work to maintenance these guys are very versed in European auto repair. It's was hard to find a honest and capable mechanic these day who are not just interested in your money . Honest family owned business that has always provided the best service and repairs I could ask for. When it come's to BMW, Audi,Mercedes, VW, or any vehicle for that matter these guy's kill it everytime! Thanks Kane and team!!!!! David

Stay far away from this shop, They sell you parts for you car and they don't install them they just clean and paint them charge you hundreds of dollars and you car is broken by the time you get it home then they tell you you need another part that they both most have been bad. Worst place ever my sister when to get see why the check engine light was on so she could get it smoged they broke her the compartment under her steering wheel trying to fix the sensors but they actually messed up the senseros the car now doesnt show us the speed were drive or how much gas is in the car they said they smoged the car and lied wanted to charge her 300$ for breaking her car not fixing the origianl issue she had went for she went to pay the regestration today the guy at shop reassured her the smog was done but that he lost the paper they look it up and there was no smog in the system so they lied and they didnt want to give her her car they were trying to convince her to take some ugly altima they had there and the day after she took it it wouldnt start because the battery was dead when it was a brand new battery she had just got in july Shady workers and shady owner i would give it ZERO STARS unprofessional im disgusted by the service they offer

This place is the best I have a 2007 gti, i walked it I asked what can I do to get more power they have me the options and fair prices I let them put a bigger turbo and tune . Omg I never felt so much power. Thank you
