I had a sufficiently poor experience with Oakland Chevrolet that I feel obligated to post my first (I think) Google review. Do not attempt to return a leased car here:1. It was almost impossible to get an appointment. After many, many tries, I got a 1 pm appointment for a Friday, before lease end Tuesday.2. Arrive at the dealer and they say I need an inspection prior to returning the car. And they can t do it now. Bring the car back tomorrow at 8 am. Annoying, but whatever, I ll come back tomorrow.3. Come back the next day. Surprise! The inspection is $190. If you want to skip it, you ll have to talk to Sales, and they don t open until 9 am. Just want to get this done with, do the inspection.4. Inspection is clean. Guy says you re good to go. I ask for a confirmation of some sort that they have the car and the lease is over. He says they ll handle it, nothing to worry about, I ll get an email.5. I do not get an email. They did not handle it.6. The next day I try to get some confirmation again that they have grounded the lease. I get nowhere.7. I go on vacation to Mexico.8. On vacation, I try again again and again to get some confirmation. I get the runaround and no one can (or does) process the lease end.9. GM Financial is unable to do anything. They say you need the dealer to ground the lease. If they just don t do it, there seems to be nothing the consumer can do.10. I file a BBB complaint. I wonder if I have to file a police report to convince the dealer, GM Financial and my insurer that I no longer am in possession of the car.11. Finally, on the Monday afternoon before the lease end, I get someone on the phone who claims to actually be the person to do the lease ends. He actually follows through and emails me the lease end statement. I wonder what would have happened if I hadn t kept bugging them.12. I finally relax and enjoy my vacation.

Our sales process was short. We had the car picked out and knew it was the one we wanted, and the cheapest one in this part of the state. The process was painless and pleasant, but the main reason for my 5 star review is one that I've never, ever, been able to say about any salesperson of any product I've ever worked with. Nader, our salesman, did not treat me like most women are treated in these kinds of exchanges. If you're not a woman, you won't understand the significance. He never steered the conversation towards my husband instead of me. He never questioned my information or judgment. He did not dismiss or disregard my statements. He haggled respectfully and fairly. My husband was present, but he knew I was the one owning the conversation, and was polite to my husband, but let me lead. He did it so flawlessly and naturally that I didn't realize until days later how refreshing and unique the experience was. Thank you Nader! I encourage anyone to come to Oakland Chevrolet and have you as their salesperson. And we love the Blazer!

We were at Chevy traverses for a few months. I ve drove in a few and knew how much I love this car but I did not like any of the colors until I found my black cherry and Oakland. When I went there I knew exactly what I wanted. Wally greeted me and said how can I help you? I told him that I was there to look at the black cherry and I knew that was the car for me, I didn t have to drive it because I already many.So why we were negotiating, a person needed to take it down from the center display, but unfortunately, they did crash the right back end so now they had to order parts to make it all brand new again. So that delayed me getting my car. A few weeks passed, and my car was to be ready for pick up. I was so excited. When I The car was not ready for pick up. To my surprise sales person, Wally is no longer working there and has transferred to the CONCORD dealership . I was pretty surprised, but just wanted to get my car The items we negotiate We re not in the car. The parts people had part of them such as the mats, but they had to order the rear end screen, and the middle seat mat which was fine. Now I have my beautiful car. A week past, and I called to ask where my parts were. They said that they did have them, and they did agree to deliver them to my work, Which I appreciated.Now another week has passed and we have a huge storm. After the storm I noticed the clear shield underneath my driver handle, and my passenger handle is peeling off. I have called and spoke to them and they keep telling me that they will have someone come out and repair. And now we re at week three and still have no one coming to repair. When I call no one answers the phone and I m only able to leave a message. I also had a problem with my radio and my Apple CarPlay which I called them about. They said I could bring it in on Monday but they probably couldn t get to it for four days. It is the only car I have, which makes it very difficult. Then I was told that I could rent a car that I would have to pay for that. Now I m pretty upset. I called the Concord Chevrolet and they said oh could you bring it in tomorrow? We ll take a look at it. I was so relieved I took it to CONCORD and dropped it off first thing in the morning. By 1 o clock they called me and told me that my car was ready. I said I would be right in now. To my surprise I see Wally I was really happy to see him but I was very sad to hear that he made no commission after he s the one that spent so much time With me when I was purchasing the car. But since there was a delay and picking up my car and then he left Oakland before I picked up the car, he got no commission on the sale of the car. I was pretty sad about that. He asked me how I liked my car. I told him once I received it. I was pretty happy with it except for this clear shield that I ve been calling about so now I m going to send a letter to clear shield to see about getting my clear shield replaced since I can t get any telephone call back from Oakland Chevrolet. I love my car and I m glad I got it. I just wish the customer service at Oakland Chevrolet was better go to answering Machine and then no one ever does a call back. So I hope I get this resolved pretty quickly and I do hope they give me a call back and because they haven t this is why I give them three stars customer service needs to be improved.

I recently took my car to Oakland Chevrolet for two recall repairs (seat belt and battery). Initially, everything seemed fine, but the very next day, my car wouldn't go in reverse, displaying a "Battery Not Initialized" error. This was surprising and frustrating, especially since the car worked perfectly before the service.When I contacted the dealership, they agreed to look at the car but insisted I pay a $200 towing charge to return it to them. This is where my frustration peaked. It's clear to me that the issue stemmed from their recent service why else would a perfectly functional battery suddenly fail right after their work on it?What bothers me most is the lack of accountability from Oakland Chevrolet. Expecting a customer to pay for towing, especially when the issue likely resulted from their service, seems unfair and unprofessional. This experience has left me questioning their commitment to customer satisfaction and service integrity.Additionally, the staff's attitude was far from helpful, bordering on rude and inflexible. It's disheartening to see a dealership not taking responsibility for a problem that may have been caused by their own actions.Think twice if you re considering Oakland Chevrolet for your car service needs. This is not a dealership that stands behind its work and genuinely cares for its customers, especially in situations like this.

Nadar is the best! He single-handedly changed my opinion about car salespeople. He was attentive, but not pushy, gave my partner and I time to talk privately, was patient and funny. We actually paid more to buy a car from him than a nearby dealer because his approach was so good!

Our experience buying and trading in our older Lexus for a new 2023 Camaro was extremely fast, comfortable and easy.Fast forward three months after our purchase my new Camaro was stolen overnight from our driveway. Once the police were involved they suggested we contact the dealership to turn on the low jack. Zachary was right on it. During our stressful morning he communicated perfectly with us and assured the police with finding the car within 8 hours. Once the car was released by the police we towed it to Oakland Chevy to have all the repairs done. Ruby was fantastic. She kept us informed and moved the process through with our insurance agent. Oakland Chevy helped us not only in buying the vehicle, financing it but finding and repairing it when we most needed it. Thank you to the full crew there for all the kindness in 2023. We will be forever repeat customers.

I was really excited that this dealership opened so close to where I live. Sadly, my experiences have been less than good every time I've gone in (4+ times). I get it that they're new, but honesty and a little customer service counts for a lot!When we recently tried to return our lease, we were told to come back because they were too busy selling cars, and when we returned later, they said they no longer had space and refused to take it. It was clear to us that these decisions came directly from the owner. He made it pretty obvious that he didn't want our business. That's fine, because the dealership in San Leandro is pretty close and fantastic. If you want a new Chevy, I highly recommend you go to San Leandro.

Reviewing their Service Department. Although it was hard to reach them by phone (took three calls to get through), I was able to make an appointment for routine service on my Chevy Bolt. They were ready for me when I arrived, and finished the work earlier than their promised completion time. They washed my car after service, which was a delightful surprise. Very nice experience. I'll be back.

My wife and I called about a 2022 Chevy Bolt, and made an appointment to come in. We talked in depth with them about 2022's, the battery recall and so on. after I said I was ready to purchase one they had us wait around for 5 hours. they kept saying they were understaffed etc. so I tried to be patient. When we finally left to go eat they called me immediately and said they were ready for us. I should have known something was fishy right then, but we headed back and made an agreement to buy. During the negotiation process the sales guy wouldn't speak to my wife and only focused on me, probably because she drives a harder bargain, but it was very odd and borderline sexist. He then rushed us through the paperwork, saying they needed to close and we didn't look closely enough at the paperwork. They sold us a 2019 which is valued at around 6k less and is incapable of fast charging. I can't even buy parts to upgrade it for fast charging it will never be able to do this. to be clear this our fault for not paying close enough attention, however it is my belief that they did all of these things intentionally in order to trick us onto buying a car we never talked about. I would not trust anything they say if I were you. I will never go back and If you're not careful they will rob you too.

Five Stars! Excellent service! Not only did they handle my warranty issues without hassle, but when they found another issue covered under warranty during the inspection, they not only took care of it without a hassle, but they apologized for needing more time. They were fast, communicative, thorough, courteous, and made sure I was informed every step of the way. Setting the standard for how all autocare should be, thanks!

I didn t have to wait in a line to speak to someone about my car, as I have at other dealerships, the work was done right away and air was even put in my tires! It also looked like my dashboard got a wipe down. I ll be back.

I received an astronomical great deal for my Corvette stingray three LT I caught a plane flew to Oakland and someone pick me up at the airport. I purchased my vehicle and flew back the same day. I had a trade in. I had it shipped the sales person, and the members of the dealership were there to help me. I have the most beautiful Corvette that you could imagine and I could not find it nowhere in Los Angeles county that price so don t be afraid to travel to have your magnificent vehicle transported to your home I could not have gotten this deal for this vehicle anywhere in Los Angeles county or San Diego. I had to go up north to get it.

Zachary was awesome. Conversation started off in an interesting manner when he said the car is not for test drive. Right there it made a great impression since it is a brand new corvette and it is not a good feeling when it has a additional miles due to test drives. Zachary was courteous enough to let me the explore the interior - speaker system especially , convertible top and how the engine sounds etc. I already went with a lot of research and Zachary helped me tick off some sanity checks in essence on the showroom floor. The whole paperwork process after that literally got done in under an hour and I was out of the dealership with a brand new (factory miles) corvette convertible and loving every minute of it.Thank you Zachary !

Unexpected and delievered! We walked in with a goal and Zackary B. and his team was able to execute! I was recently shopping for a Silverado 1500. I found one near me in Sacramento and one at Oakland Chevrolet that I was interested in. The Sacramento dealership had a much better dealer discount on a comparable truck. Oakland Chevrolet not only matched the Sacramento price but beat it. I went with Oakland Chevrolet and they even delivered to Sacramento. Salesmen Zackary was great to work with. Finance dept. didn't try to sell me extra #%&*. I recomend.

I went preliminary car buying to make a list of the cars I want to consider when we go buy a car for my husband. Out of the 5 dealers in Oakland I visited today, Oakland Chevrolet had the best sales staff. Levon was great in showing me the cars, explaining the prices and the features and not applying any sales pressure. I was upfront I wasn't buying today.Oakland Chevrolet has cars in stock and they don't put upcharge prices beyond MSRP unless it's a hard car to get. So right now Oakland Chevrolet is at the top of my list.

I rarely write reviews, but I can t resist in the case of Oakland Chevrolet. This morning I signed the contract for my new Chevy Bolt EUV, drove it off the lot and could not be happier with the experience from start to finish. This was my first time purchasing a new car on my own and as an older single woman, I was concerned about what I was up against. I did my homework and hoped for the best. My fears turned out to be groundless. My first contact at Oakland Chevrolet was with Zachary Black who tallked to me about the various trim levels and packages of the Bolt before we went out for a test drive of a couple of cars. That was it. No pressure. No hard sell. Over the next few days, I inundated Zachary with questions which he answered promptly, even after work. At the same time, I contacted numerous other dealers in the Bay Area but kept returning to Zachary who seemed determined to work with me to find the right car and at a price I felt comfortable with. His flexibilty and availability was impressive given how Chevy Bolts are flying off the lots these days.Next, I had the pleasure of completing the purchase of my new car with Mason Walker, Sales Manager at Oakland Chevrolet. Mason carefully explained the line items in the contract and quickly understood which items I didn t want to pay for. At this stage in the process, buyers can feel undue pressure to agree to provisions which they don t fully understand and/or don t need. I didn t feel any pressure from Mason. He allowed me plenty of time to evaluate the various options and make sound decisions. I wish everyone buying a new car could have this experience.If you are looking for a Chevy Bolt or any Chevrolet, Oakland Chevrolet is your place. Be sure to work with Zachary and Mason.

First of all, they did not tell us that there is a missing part of the car. They scheduled us without knowing if they have the part or not. I brought the car in and wasted my time for noting because they just noticed that they have to order the part and it takes at least a week!!

I found my new Silverado 2500 online and called Oakland Chevrolet to verify they stil had it. Zachary Black became the Product Specialist from start to finish and even after the sale. Zachary's knowledge of the Silverado was exceptional which gave me confidence in my decision to purchase the truck. After the sale Zachary has called and confirmed we updated our Onstar subscription and to see how everything was going with the truck. Zachary provided excellent service throughout the process. Zachary is a plus to this Oakland Chevrolet dealership that just getting started.
