Rhett was great working with our insurance company to make sure that they covered the work. The original claim payment was half of what the estimate was, but he was able to meet with the adjuster and explain the difference. Customer service was excellent! Rett took very good care of us and helped us through the complicated insurance process. Our car looks amazing, better than when we brought it in. Not only can you not tell it was hit, but they cleaned and polished it inside and out! We are extremely happy with the results. I would not recommend the shop to anyone that is looking to get their vehicle fixed. I had a horrible experience with them and I would never go back. I took in my 2008 Corvette into the shop to get a door replaced. Everything was going smooth until I dropped it off. The car was in the shop for approximately two months horrible communication from Percy who I was working with the whole time. I was the one constantly reaching out and asking for an update. If I never reach out, he never gave me updates, so the communication was very poor on their end. Another thing that was an issue was the actual work done to the car was good paint looked great but I did up taking my bumper off and a few panels off to replace the door. Biggest issue was that they let me take the vehicle without my tail lights and brake lights working so it was a huge safety issue. I could ve gotten in a really bad accident so they let me take my vehicle without any of my brake lights working another thing was that my door hatch was replaced incorrectly and my door would not close correctly.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

My car was involved in a hit and run. My BMW paint color is very rare. I brought my car to Brooks because I know they could match the paint, plus they are the best in town. They did a great job. I am so pleased with the Repair job on my 2021 MBZ performed by Mercedes Benz Collision Repair by Brooks. I was kept well informed throughout the duration of time my car was being worked on. This turned out to be a constant battle with Allstate Insurance (the Insurance Co of the person who rear ended me) but the care of my car was in the hands of Rhett Smith, who was a pleasure to work with, he was professional, an expert in the field, he was always up front and honest, he made himself available and kept me informed on the progress of my car and I had full confidence that my car was going to be as beautiful as the day I bought it. When I picked up my car, Rhett went over all of the details of the repairs and costs. The experience was very good the shop amazing work they did on my 2019 ford mustang after it was rear ended while parked looks like it never happened. The very nice lady in the front office name Shelly the best she would never have me waiting on the phone or waiting room and if she did she would accommodate me with a drink or a snack. Ret the personal in charge of my claim very good helpful real knows how to talk to insurance didn t have to do anything with them he took care of it all. Only one thing this shop could improve would be communication with the customer my car was In the shop for a month I was rarely contacted I had to call first ,but could ve been also because the shop was very backed up with cars! Everyone was very kind and professional. From the time you entered the building until the time that you left, you felt like you were there only customer that they were taking care of despite seeing all of the cars that they were servicing. Percy was very knowledgeable with regards to car repairs. He knew exactly what I wanted done without me having to say anything. The repairs were done in a timely manner. I have nothing but good things to say about Collision repair by brooks . Rhett Smith stayed in touch on the work going on with my car and worked with my insurance company. 5 stars is not enough! They are amazing! Someone hit the back of our gorgeous Lexus. Brooks did work that might be higher quality tha Lexus itself. Brook s customer support and communication were outstanding. They were prompt and reasonably priced. A pleasant experience overall.

I was referred to this location by Mercedes-Benz Oakland after a minor car accident. I want to start off by saying that I appreciate the professionalism of the staff. Percy is a gem. He made sure that I fully understood my options as far as repairing my vehicle. He is a straight up guy and I like that. If he doesn t have the answer, he will do his best to find it out for you. The communication with my insurance company was prompt. The work that was performed was perfect. I can t even tell that there was ever a dent on the trunk. This is an honest business that gave me peace of mind. I will return if ever needed in the future. 10/10 I would recommend. Thank you again.Service: Body & Trim

Incredibly easy and pleasant to work with. They were responsive, friendly, thoughtful, straight-shooting, and just plain nice. We had a complicated repair on a Sprinter RV and they dealt with it brilliantly. Treated it like a "fun challenge" rather than a chore. Delivered it when promised and the work is excellent. Couldn't recommend them more highly. FYi I think this is also the only shop in the area with a paint booth that can handle the long wheelbase sprinters. After my experience there, though, I'd go to them regardless.Service: Body & Trim

Brooks always has excellent service. My Lexus has white pearl paint. After being damaged by hit and run driver, It's very hard to match up after body work. Brooks did an excellent job as usual. We've brought many of our cars here over the years for custom work. The results are always flawless. The "S" on the rear bumper of my Porsche 911 Carrera 4S broke off. After the Porsche dealer quoted me $623 to replace it I called Brooks. They had done body work for me in the past. Within 10 days Shelley ordered the correct part and had me in the shop for a 15 minute, PERFECT, replacement job that cost only $115. We took our daughters car to Brooks Collision Repair in Oakland, Ca. Best thing we could have done. Mr. Percy Gonz�lez was on it. Dealing with GEICO was a nightmare but Mr. Percy was not one to be ignored. He made sure to keep us in the loop and constantly updated. They are very transparent and professional. Brooks Collision fixed our daughter s vehicle. I Drove it to Portland Oregon the same day I picked it up. Drove like dream. Took My car in for estimate, never got estimate. The person handling my estimate was more concerned about me bringing my car in for repair without a bottom line. Two weeks past no estimate. Excuse was "we have to take bumper apart to to see what's wrong to make estimate, then reset your B.C.U", other words my computer. Mind you, all I had was a groove in both passenger doors, and bumper cover knocked off. Clearly see bumper was not damaged. Customers beware of this company. I did not do business with them. Took my car to SmoothAutobody in East Oakland Ca. Address is on the Web, ask for Van. Very friendly and professional and beautiful work. Thank you Smooth body Auto.

Percy Gonzales managed the job to repair my 2019 Mustang GT. This car is my pride and joy and Percy treated the job accordingly. My car is now back to its original condition. The quality of workmanship is absolute perfection. I was always informed as the work progressed. Rhett and Daniel were fantastic help when I was in a car accident with insurance complications. Their advice, recommendations, and kindness at a time when I was shaken up were far beyond anything I hoped for when I drove in for a repair estimate. Not only did they work with me while I pursued different options, they gave me an estimate that was very fair plus they beat their own timeline in getting my car back to me. This place is fantastic! Rhett was extremely communicative and offered wonderful service. He advocated for all OEM parts with the insurer. The quality of their work is top notch. A small squeak developed in the tailgate and I took the car in and it was fixed within 30 minutes. Highly recommended!

The collision repair was great, however I was disappointed that my car needed a battery and they would not order for me while my car was with them for 3 weeks. the day I pick up my car it wouldn't start so my service rep gave me a jump and said to check out Costco for batteries.
