Brian answered the phone, and was able to get me into the shop on short notice for an inspection on a car I was looking to buy from someone on Craigslist. We arrived at 3:30pm and he started and finished in an hour and a half. He was very thorough while also answering any questions I had along the way. Needless to say he found a lot of things wrong and his recommendations were instrumental in my decision to not buy the car. And all that for $65?! JT is great. Good work at good prices, solid communication, and timely work completed same day if you call him ahead and let him know what s going on and when you bring the car by. I ve brought several cars to him and the work has always been solid. He s a trustworthy guy that won t try to sell you things you don t need.

If you need your catalytic converter protected, they do a great install that will thwart the thieves! They also are super reasonable and honest with regular maintenance and repair. Great neighborhood mechanic.

I went in to get my car inspected before a big road trip. Among other things, they recommended that I replace my serpentine belt, so I went ahead and did that. Soon after, there started to be a loud squealing noise sometimes when I started my car. Found out later that they installed the wrong size when I got it looked at and fixed at another shop. After that the noise was gone. I tried to reach out to see if they would refund me for their error but I was never able to get a response from them.

I love this place! They're honest and fast and they do great work. It's the only place I take to my car too now. They have great prices. An honest mechanic is a hard thing to find if you're looking for an honest mechanic look no more J T Automotive is place.

Brought my Honda Sedan to JT for a full suspension rebuild due to alignment issues caused by previous owner. He was able to fix the issue and now my car drives comfortable and doesn t pull to the right anymore. A quick turn around time of the services done too. Reasonable and knowledgeable mechanic.Would recommend family and friends to him.

JT Automotive are fantastic. I took my car in, with a number of small issues. They fixed all the issues, didn't charge me for half of it, and didn't oversell me on things that didn't really need fixing yet. I will definitely be bringing my car back here on the regular. 100% recommended.

I went to JT automotive to get my oil and brakes replaced. Jose was knowledgable and helpful, he did not try to upsell me anything but explained what my car needed with great detail. I recommend it for a quick and honest service. My baby is running smooth as ever! Will definitely come back!!

Been here twice, didn t try to sell me anything extra. Didn t overcharge for parts. Got my car in and out fast. Honest and efficient - 10/10 will keep coming back

Had a screw in my tire on a rainy Saturday, they got me in ASAP & repaired it. I was in/out in less than five.We chatted a bit afterwards & the staff was very polite & friendly.

Jose had worked on everyones car in the city of Oakland lol. I often have to force him to take more $$$$$ , hes humble and an honest worker. I highly doubt hes take advantage of a Senior. His dad is a senior and works at the shop with Jose. This is a family owned business with a great reputation. There is no one more honest than Jose. Sad to see a negative post, probably his competition. Anyway do yourself a favor n see Jose for all your Car issues
