Moises was able to give me a great quote over the phone, confirm they had the part in stock & when I dropped my car off, it was ready in about an hour - exactly when he said it would be. I got my catalytic converter replaced and it came out to the cost he quoted me at over the phone. It was a great and smooth experience and lived up to all the other great reviews! I went straight to one of the smog check places he recommended and it passed. All within about 2 hours.

Thank you Moises for eliminating my exhaust leak noises for my 1990 Ford Van! Since you have fixed exhaust leaks I have not played my van stereo because I love hearing how quiet and smooth my van drives now! You were very nice to inform me on additional optional work before working on my van that I appreciated! You helped me also by having my van repaired in time so I could be able to drive to my job! Moises did great work and his repair costs were very fair and honest. I will come back to see Moises for tuneup, brakes and any other services he offers. Highly recommend!

My catalytic converter was stolen last year when the part was impossible to get. After finally getting one after being on many wait lists, when it finally arrived, I brought it here to be installed. It did not come with an oxygen sensor, which Martin (very nice to work with) was able to order one for me for less than the prices that were quoted to me by the dealerand also quickly. They got the work done faster than expected and also installed a shield for piece of mind at a very fair price. Highly recommend!

Moises is very professional I brought in a Chrysler 300 wanting a new daul exhaust...Came in the shop he scheduled me for the day after he literally works right in front of you and does efficient work...the job was done quick and I m still smiling on how good it sounds today I strongly recommend for any muffler work best shop in the bay!

Last week, I took my Jeep Patriot for noise and possible exhaust leak. I left the car for a few hours and then I was told that the catalytic converter needs to be replaced and it cost me $2,000. When I took it to a more reputable shop, they kept it for a few hours and when they drove it 3 times, they couldn't find anything wrong with it and charged me nothing.

I couldn't be happier! My mechanic told me I needed to go to a muffler shop to have my flex pipe replaced. I pulled in right as they opened, and my car was ready an hour later! I didn't catch the name of the man who helped me, but he was so friendly and helpful; he even showed me my old rusted flex pipe and explained what the issue had been. The repair was very fairly priced. I'm so thrilled with the service I received, and my car sounds great now. I hope I don't need more work on my exhaust any time soon, but I know exactly where I'll go and recommend to folks!Service: Exhaust

Great experience here. I called five muffler shops and asked for quotes replacing a catalytic converter on a Honda Civic. Moises was by far the cheapest. He told me to come in the same day. When I met him, he was kind and down to earth, and explained what he was going to do, and when he expected to be done. It was just a few hours. Still, he finished even earlier than that! I picked up the car, drove it to the smog check location, and passed. This shop saved me hundreds of dollars. I d recommend it to any of my friends

Less than 24 hours from drop off to pickup to replace my catalytic converter for 1/3 the price offered at two other shops. Moises was knowledgeable, nice, and even offered to stay late if I couldn t be there by closing time. He walked me through possibilities on the phone before coming in, knew about my car s specific needs, and didn t try to oversell me at all. I failed smog then passed after their repair.

We had our exhaust rebuilt here after a Catalytic Converter theft. We are from out of town and needed a fast fix so that we could head home. Moises hooked it up on-time and built a very quite, stock like system for us. We wen't up a 1/4" on piping for a mild reduction of back pressure. There was a lot of opportunity to not finish on time or to make our system too loud or for it to drone at certain RPMs. None of that has been the case.Very good work. Very good service.Would use them again, but hopefully we won't be in the bad and suddenly need exhaust work again.Services: Exhaust, Electrical

I ve been bringing all my cars to Moises and Filemon for over 10 years for any cat/muffler projects. I ve brought them a 70 s Volvo 164 all the way to a 2018 Civic and I can find the quality for their prices anywhere else. It s tough to trust people working on my cars but I am surprised by their work time and time again.

Moises took care if my special case, he helped integrate some parts of the exhaust to make my car quieter, and actually run cleaner. Additionally he made an extra part for me to use whenever I do any local track days. I wouldn't go anywhere else after seeing the quality of work done here. He did great welds on my stainless exhaust and definitely fixed my car. The communication, convenience, and quality make East Bay Mufflers a stand out exhaust shop in the bay area

The muffler on our 2002 Nissan quit on us, which was unbearably loud. I came in on a weekday at 3pm and they had parts in stock. They finished everything in about an hour for a reasonable price. Still running great 3 months later. Thanks!Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

Not very helpful if you own a chevy Volt hybrid. My issue had nothing to do with the electric part of the car and they wouldn't touch it. All it needed was a new catalytic converter just like any other combustion engine vehicle.

Someone stole my muffler off my VW van so I rolled into the shop and the dude had one that fit my vehicle. He put it on and now it looks better than it did with the old muffler. It s quieter than my old muffler too. Only cost me $150. The guy was hella cool and professional. Took less than 20min, I m fasho coming back if someone steals my muffler again. Father and son shop. Very skilled. Very professional. I don t really know about mufflers but after describing to Moises what i was looking for, him and pops hooked it up and gave me exactly what i was looking for. Great service. Good prices. Very knowledgeable.

I got there right when they were closing and asked if they could patch up my catalytic converter. At fist the mechanic said no, then he changed his mind and did the job for me. That was extremely nice of East Bay mufflers to do that for me

I got some exhaust work done here on my SL Mercedes to make it sound more sporty & the guys at East Bay Muffler shop hooked it up on point, its sound awesome. The guys here do excellent work, for a really good price. They are very professional. If your looking to get your exhaust mods or mufflers put on I recommend going here. I got in my truck at noon on a Saturday to find that my Oakland tax was due. All four of my catalytic converters were cut out. Moises was friendly and fast. I had my truck back by 5 on the same day, for less than what some of the other shops I called were asking. Can't ask for better service in a challenging situation.

Called in and was given a quote that really seemed fair since I d searched on line for just the product I needed. Moises gave me a decent quote and a service time and date and everything was right on time. Good job!

Quick and quality, two things very hard to come by. Moises helped me out with my family car. Very happy with his work and craftsmanship. If you're using gps to get here, it's around the corner with a big yellow banner. From the outside theres only 1 rack. Also it's deep inside a black gated area. Gps left me on international (E14th). Just turn the corner and enter. If any of my family or friends ask me if I know a muffler shop, this is where I'm sending them. Good price, good work, fast work. Thanks again Moises.

They got my part ordered and installed in short order. I had my Catalytic Convertor replaced on my 2004 Subaru WRX, and went and passed smog today! Will 100% be bringing my cars here for any exhaust/muffler issues in the future
