I cannot say enough about Tane and the entire experience at Community Auto. I've been going there for years, and would not go anywhere else. I trust the service and care there. Tane, the owner and the other mechanics are excellent, communicative, friendly and wonderful. The prices are very reasonable, always fair, and I have full faith in their work. I tend to drive my vehicles into the ground, real "work horses", and Community Auto keeps me safe on the road!

Tane does great care for my vehicle! He s been wonderful as well with meeting the needs of my car in an affordable way for me and being honest and up front with what s best for my car to keep it running well. Very much appreciate this place, will continue to seek care for my car here! Highly recommend!

This is the best auto shop!! I ve never had a mechanic I trust so much. Kham is honest, helpful, and reliable. I ve been coming here for years now and I recommend this spot to everyone I know.

I just had my first experience with Kam and Community Auto Center, and I m super impressed. I took my car in for a power window repair. Kam immediately noticed that some body work on my car was loose and fixed it immediately for free. He figured out my window issues pretty quickly, and charged me super fairly for it ($120). He also noticed that my car was missing some interior fender wells. He recommended getting them replaced, and did the research on sourcing replacements. He wasn t pushy at all about it, just gave me then info. My favorite mechanic in the bay by far!

Community Auto is the best. Tane and his crew are very knowledgeable and honest. I feel fortunate to have someone I can trust work on my car. Tane guessed my issue, tested it and found that was the issue, and fixed it for a reasonable price. 100% would recommend to anyone

I have been going with Tane for years now. Tane is very professional, honest, and explains thoroughly what is going on with the car. He also doesn t take advantage and tells you when it s best to make the changes needed in the car to only spend what is needed. I have been recommending him to my friends and family. He is the definition of a community mechanic; always willing to help and do honest work.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, Brakes, Air conditioning, Oil change

Kam and his team are awesome! I brought my SUV in for a new strut and they had me in an out. Excellent service. He sent me photos and explained the repair step by step. Grateful to have a great neighborhood business that cares about me as a customer. Community Auto Center is solid!

I took my car from a friend's recommendation. Needless to say, Tane was very professional and helpful. I took my car to different shops and he was by far most reasonable with pricing. He also took time to speak with me to see what would fit my budget. I am very happy with my experience as well as the result. Highly recommend!

Finding a friendly, reliable and professional auto care place is rare, but Community Auto Center checks all those boxes. I've been bringing my cars here for the past few years and won't take my cars anywhere else. And since COVID, they've done an outstanding job of taking care of their customers with safety in mind. I brought my car in last week and everyone wore masks and they even wiped down every surface after they finished. If your car needs work in Oakland, look no further.

I have always had a good experience here, and Kham is great... he s very friendly and knowledgeable. He tries to fix the problem with the least expensive option first! The prices are fair, and the services are quick. I would definitely recommend!

Blessed is the word. Kham and his beautiful wife changed my perception of auto repair services. I could not be happier with my customer care experience with them. I truly mean that. It is not called Community Auto for nothing. Their work and example aids the character and reputation of our surroundings. Love them.

Man, these guys are the real deal. Their rates are very fair, very reasonable, and they went the extra mile for be-- gameplanning multiple options & quotes, price comparison if new/used parts, and walked me through several options like a state rebate for my hybrid that I didn't know I had. Truly grateful for such a top level team so close to home.

Sometimes we take our frustration out on the wrong ones. Often it's the ones who show you the most love. I must admit it does take the bigger man to apologize. This is by far the best auto mechanic in Oakland.!!!! An my car is having problems now.Guess where I took it???right back to "COMMUNITY AUTO". BRING YOUR CAR HERE
